Attention Bigfoot Forum Members:
It's no surprise we are all members here because we love the subject of Bigfoot, discussing it with fellow enthusiasts, debating photos, videos and stories about it. This forum gives us the perfect spot to do that. As I've always said, this forum is the only place on the internet that matters when discussing Bigfoot because we get all viewpoints, skeptics, scofftics and true believers.
Because of this, I'm sure we all want to see this forum continue and maintain a structure that allows us all to participate in great discussion about the topic of Bigfoot. Unfortunanetly the software and internet space that allows us this forum doesn't come free, it can actually be quite expensive and we should all give the staff here our gratitude for maintaining the BFF.
A great way to show that appreciation would be to make a donation to the fund that keeps this website going, so we Steering Committee members now announce the first official fund drive for the Bigfoot Forums. Normally the only way to donate is a premium membership, but during this fund drive, that will run for one month, you can donate as little as $5.00, or as much as you want of course. Sorry but $5.00 is the minimun, any less would not pay the transaction fees. However, anything you can spare over $5.00, be it $6.00, $7.00, whatever will be greatly appreciated and you will know you have done your part to keep this forum up and running.
If you can make a $20 donation why not go ahead and accept or gift the Premium Section membership that comes with it? The Premium Section is a great and much more that just the Tar Pit that so many have heard of. There are the BFF archives, the Sighting database section (SSR), there is also a section for discussion of Bigfoot that allows for topics that are not allowed in the General Section, such as religion, etc. It has the same rules of decorum as the General Section when it comes to conduct, such as no personal insults but otherwise it's a very relaxed environment.
Best of all in the Premium Section is the Bigfoot Research Group section. This section allows researches their own section, with their own threads on their own topics and also allows the Researcher to control the content and conversation. Anyone who does research should take advantage of this excellent section to share their research, opinions, theories, photos, videos, whatever. You control the area and if someone is saying something you don't like, or just don't like them, you can exclude them. It's your call.
