  1. Hope so. I will then win my bet with someone over on the Skeptics Forum. I have until the end of the year. Let's do this.
  2. I'm so sorry to hear this, Northern Lights. Bob Garrett's website was attacked in the last year or so, and Wes Germer's encounter stories and reputation were attacked right after he mentioned that Bob Garrett's site (and more) had been attacked. Check the thread called "Campsite Destroyed". There are other threads about this, too, but I can't find them at the moment. I have read through that thread. What is really a head scratcher is why someone would want to wipe us out. It was a targeted attack, deleting the data on the forums and denying access to the site itself. We have some cool things on there but nothing i would consider earth shattering. Someone went out of their way to shut us down and I don't have a clue why. Even our forum discussions are pretty tame by most standards. I don't believe we've banned anyone, other than those that create spam threads (buy our watch, purse, blue pills, etc.). It's a mystery.
  3. I'm not making any accusations towards any one or any particular organization or governing body, I'm just stating facts. Our website was attacked to the point it isn't accessible and recovery is questionable. The attack was targeted and very successful. I would be interested to hear if other Bigfoot/Sasquatch websites have experienced similar attacks.
  4. Page 1 post 7 in this thread is the link to that recording, FYI.
  5. Very cool. I just sent in a portion of the 26 minute audio from our site. We'll see if it's selected.
  6. It happened to Les Stroud during one of his shows. A tree fell over, and he wigged out. He even said that if it continues, he was going to have to leave.
  7. Just listened to the whole thing and it is fantastic. Highly recommend taking the time.
  8. Wow, I've never had anyone say they've had that sort of reaction to listening to these recordings before.
  9. Divergent1-Let me take a step back here. I want you to know that I absolutely respect your opinion on this particular recording and if I came off sounding like anything less then I truly apologize. Our group does own the recording but it does not have a copyright on it. Our goal is to share everything we have with the community in the effort to help us all better understand the big guy. All we ask is for credit when it gets shared. Regarding the analysis, here is something a colleague did, breaking down the entire recording and taking out the down periods. He has it down to 9 minutes along with his assessment. It isn't what you were indicating above, but this guy does a lot of audio work. It's pretty well done. Thanks for taking the time to listen and take care.
  10. To my knowledge, this recording has not been submitted to a wolf expert and here is why. Our group has submitted other recordings to wolf experts and their response has been (and I'm paraphrasing) "Doesn't sound like a wolf, but since there isn't anything else in that region that makes those sounds, must be a wolf. Just doesn't sound like one." They absolutely refuse to even hint it might be a squatch, so their only alternative is to say wolf, even though they acknowledge it doesn't have wolf characteristics. I encourage you to give it a shot. Download a copy and send it off and see why type of response you get. Maybe you'll find an expert that will agree with your assessment and I would be more than willing to hear their review.
  11. I too have heard wolves many times and I've never heard anything like those sound clips before.
  12. I've posted this several times before, but it's been at least six months so I will do it again. Have a listen and see if this sounds like anything you've heard the neighbor dog produce. If you don't want to listen to the whole thing, please scroll down to the section marked "8:30 to 12 minutes" and make sure you listen until the end.
  13. I agree it looks like a break, but the $64,000 question is what did it? The night before we found this, I watched a 9 footer through a thermal for about 15 minutes as it walked up to our camp and then walked away. It is a squatchy area, so it's a good chance this is from the big guy.
  14. There wasn't anything left except for the skull and hind legs. As you can see in my picture, both legs were broken with spiral fractures, which requires torque or twisting motion. Canines don't usually cause that type of damage. They splinter bones with downward pressure, not a twisting motion. Here is a closer look.
