That's what I figured when you said feral.

So, did the witnesses actually see a BF?

Or someone wearing a fur coat or skins.....would be my guess.

A Bear is going to drag you by clamping onto you with his mouth as he is primarily a quadraped. It would be a easy trail to follow. They never found that.

The government didn't try to suppress the Georgia bigfoot in a freezer.

They knew it was a crock of crap just like every right thinking person did.

There isn't a single instance of the government trying to suppress bigfoot on any level.

There are a number of instances of 'officials' trying to hush things up.

The government does not care it does not take this seriously at all period.

You have no way of knowing that for sure.

If the government wants the public to not take anything BF seriously, of course they wouldn't cover up the GA hoax or Melba's project! In fact, they would want those incidents to get a LOT of media....like they did. Just sayin'...

I would imagine that Government officials would not take a witness statement of something resembling a bear carrying a person over it's shoulder seriously. They have to worry about how "they" would be seen in the eye's of their peers if they did. The social perception of competance functions the same as a coverup would.

You get a person like Kathy Strain who is in a pretty good vantage point working for the USFS, and you feel like nothing is really

going on behind the scenes.  She is openly a Bigfoot Investigator and is in charge of tribal relations and native forest rights for the

whole nation, so could she be wrong?  Maybe this goes well beyond the Forest Service to the CIA and Homeland Security.  There

are just too many reports of those men in black arriving to clean up the messes these creatures can leave behind.  Bob Garrets tent

video being a case, which Wes from Sasquatch Chronicles says involved two fatalities, one a beheading, one body stuffed in a tree,

and a third survivor being hospitalized for several weeks in shock.  Now how much weight you put on such a second hand story is

your choice, but I have found Wes to be very truthful about whatever he presents, so maybe someone was yanking his chain, or the

story is true, which if it is demonstrates the cover up policy that has been in place for some time, as in the Dennis Martin situation.

I guess we must be aware that anyone trying to produce a body would be going up against this policy of cover up, and would

themselves be at risk of reprisal.

Another walking (I think, just guessing there) illustration of what I'm talking about.  Rock's over there, sir.

It's called research.  Doesn't one feel a little left out, yes, doesn't one.  Plate tectonics was here once; so was Earth as a mote of dust in a mote of dust in a mote of dust in a more or less infinite universe.  We can wait for you  to catch up, and just go for the entertainment value in the interim.

Wild men..............wild modern men.  Sure it's happened before and can again.  I'd say wild feral human make more sense than bigfoot.

No they don't.  When the evidence clearly says they don't, then we tend to think they don't.  How science operates.

Do you know the guy that produced the documentary that supposedly incited the Benghazi attack which resulted in the death of Ambassador Stevens and three others is in jail?     I think it was pulled from youtube also because of government pressure.   If a known hoaxer claims a BF body in a freezer it is to the benefit of a government intent on cover up to let it be seen and exposed as a fraud.      That is called a disinformation campaign and commonly used by governments for propaganda purposes.

no

that was a con artist trying to make a dollar. It wasn't any subversive action from a higher power.

Has there ever been a BF doc suppressed by the government? The BF conspiracy is still coming off like excuse making for the usual shortcomings.

I will just double-up on DWA's comment. We are not even fixing to start to get ready to commence to be serious, directly. It is not even a discipline or a field of inquiry that rates more than a nudge-wink in any media outlet of large circulation you could mention.

I have been thinking about just how much is required in expertise to work on this problem. I came up with this (below):

Researchers Don't Get No Respect

I have often wondered why the field of Sasquatch research gets short shrift from the community. Apart from tabloid journalism poisoning, pseudo-scepticism, fashion, peer pressure, vested interest, closed-mindedness, and the usual pathologies of academia, there may be another factor; the topic requires an interdisciplinary effort, and the world does not do interdisciplinary stuff all that well. So, part of the problem may be the over-specialization of modern science and scientists.

To repeat the gist of a joke from my youth, a specialist knows more and more about less and less, until eventually the specialist knows everything about nothing. On the other hand, a generalist would then know less and less about more and more until eventually ..... .

To solve the conundrum of North America's cryptic primate, more than a few professional skills need to be brought to bear. Most of these use measurement in some fashion or other, having quantitative aspects.

A Few Disciplines of Relevance

The number of disciplines of apparent relevance to the problem is truly staggering, but the field truly does require an inter-disciplinary effort. Here is a list of some skill areas that I have seen brought to bear on the problem over the years:

Mathematics

  • Deductive Geometry

  • Trigonometry

  • Algebra

  • Applied statistics – descriptive and inferential, maybe even Baysian satistics might have been used

  • Even numerical methods could be brought to bear

Mensuration (a 10 dollar word where a 10 center would have done I suppose)

  • Metrology – applied measurement

  • Photogrammetry – applied measurement applied to images

Biological Sciences

  • Primatology

  • Zoology

  • Field Biology

  • Animal Behavior

  • Anatomy – primarily primate but some comparisons with bear, etc. Need to be made as well

Kinesiology

  • Biomechanics

Anthropology

  • Physical Anthropology

  • Cultural Anthropology

Linguistics

Sound Recording Analysis

Physics

Geography

  • Population Geography

  • Map Making

  • Map Reading

  • Map Making

  • Weather Patterns

  • Drainage Patterns

Soil Science

Hydrology – explained to me by a colleague that this was working out the ramifications of the fact that water runs downhill

  • Drainage Systems

Surveying

Information Systems

  • Geographic Information Systems

  • Data Quality

  • Web sites

Climate Studies

Forensics

Tracking

  • Track Casting

  • Tracking

Dermolytics

  • Dermal Ridges

Reporting

  • Interview Techniques

Optics

  • Lenses

  • Focal Points

  • Foreshortening

  • Perspective

Photography

  • Still Photography

  • Video Photography

  • Digital Photography

  • Thermal Imaging

Digital Image Manipulation

Animation/Modelling

  • 3D Digital Modelling of Animals

  • 3D Digital Modelling (of Landscapes)

Movie Making

  • Film production

  • Video production

  • Costume Making and Use

Pretty daunting list, eh? Hmmm, have I made a valid point here? If not, blame it on my advanced age.

Gotta side with Crow. Thr Government is pretty inept at hiding much of anything these days. There is not one shred of rock solid evidence to shoe a conspiracy by the Gov to suppress BF evidence... To what end would they? All the Gov conspiracy info is hearsay and rumors. It would take an unpresidented number of people involved to keep such a thing secret in Canada and the U.S. believe me when I say the Gov could keep a lid on that many people. IMO they really could careless about the existence or just dismiss it out of hand as old Native American lore and hoaxes.
