Could It Be That Bigfoot Is Paranormal?

There is a whole field of treatment called "transcranial magnetic stimulation" now. It has some amazing healing potential too. Do not know much about magnetic hearing but suspect magnetic and electrical fields are somehow tied into this BF thing whether it be causative, side effects or associations unknown......who knows.

Yep, that's what I thought too, infrasound is creating the affects that people are perceiving. If you stimulate the left temporal lobe you will hear voices. So if the sound affects that lobe's EMF field it could create enough of a disturbance for the person to perceive a voice. Well then that gets back to WEW's point. They would have to have language ability and know English to speak that way. I remember General saying that what he heard sounded like "deaf people's" chatter, maybe bigfoot doesn't speak in the same sound range as we do, or perhaps they don't hear like we do.

Sasyfoot,

I don't research MT.. I don't need to. There is no universal language, and your mind thinks in the english language( if english is your primary language)

and BF thinks in BF language..It can't think in a language it doesn't know... as far as pictures goes I supose this is possible however when we humans think an action thought( for example, I think I want to run to the corner,) I don't visualize myself running to the corner.. I just think the sentance( in english)

You sound pretty certain for somebody that has never done any research on the subject. How do you know there is no universal language? Is it because you never heard about it, & don't want to be bothered to find out something that interesting?

Wow, you must have a lot of noise going on in your mind if you think sentences in English for everything you do, before you do it.

you will never convince me that this is possible for the reasons I already stated.. I could read all of the webpages on the internet concerning this subject and I still wouldn't believe it because Its just words someone I don't know wrote... Kind of like on here...

Since all I really have to go on is what I know to be fact from my 54 years on this earth, Logic dictates to me the imposibility of it.

Ok. I won't try to convince you. I didn't know about it when I was 54 either, but some of us live & learn & some of us are bogged down in logic & just don't want to pull ourselves out.

I do however believe in ESP, and perhaps this is what is really happening,

So, what's logical about ESP? Kinda funny that you can believe one illogical concept, but not another one....

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it is what it is.

Don't be sorry. My bubble is still perfectly intact.

Telepathy? I don't know. I believe there is a connection between beings and that we can feel the energy between each other. I just don't know if I believe that we could clearly communicate thoughts and ideas between two seperate species. I have read many of the reports of supposed telepathy between Bigfoot and humans and what it seems to be to me is the human projecting what they think the Bigfoot would say. There are some case where I get the impression that it is what the human would like to say to the world and the human is using the Bigfoot as a "puppet" to convey their own beliefs. These however are just my opinions and maybe someday I will be proven completely wrong.

I will further confirm the ability of wild animals to "appear and disappear" as if by magic. A couple of years ago a friend and I visited the Vince Schutte Wildlife Sanctuary near Orr, MN. This is a place where they are doing research on Black Bear and they have stations set up in a large meadow where they feed the Black Bear every day during the summer. It was amazing to watch the bear wander around this meadow and then at times "disappear" right in front of my eyes. I am talking very large black bear who could "disappear" behind some tall grass while I was watching them. It got to where I would focus on a single bear and follow it around trying to follow it until it was in the woods. Many times I would lose the bear in the grass right out in the meadow and many of them never reappeared. They must have stayed in the grass until they were out in the woods. This grass did NOT look like grass that a full grown bear should be able to hide in and they were. The viewing platform at this place is even elevated to keep the spectators above bear height. I bet on ground level the bear "appeared and disappeared" even more frequently.

Until someone wants to help dig into this it's a theory I'm off & running with. :P Convincing a Audiology Specialist with access to the necessary recording equiptment might help more than a few researchers.

Note to self: cross WEW off THAT list....LOL!

So far it includes but does not preclude:

1) Odd auditory experiences by researchers and laypeople in BF reports

2) The "wall of fear" reported by many, with no defined cause

3) the sudden stopping if BF vocals in recordings..they may not have stopped, just gone beyond equiptments capacity.

4) the blurred effect in photograpy equiptment

and I'm sure there's more I've missed.

Interesting that the term 'telepathy' was coined in 1882, yet there's still no viable explanation nor demonstration for this method of communication, which is exactly why I have trouble accepting it as valid.

I think in sentences and see the words and letters sometimes as I think it. But anyway, it is illogical to call all this paranormal when we have so little evidence of any kind as to how bigfoot does what he does and we even lack very much evidence of what he does do. Most things we know of can be explained by nature and science. Not all, but most. You have to investigate before calling it paranormal and you HAVE to cite sources. And science does not know it all by any means, so if we don't understand something yet, we may someday understand the science of it. Even the paranormal has to be explicable by science, somehow, IMO. Maybe there is no paranormal.

ParaApe you have to cite reports. Please collect a list of public reports with URLs recounting the phenomena you speak of so that you can give chapter and verse....oops Biblical reference, sorry. Then get back to us.

Orbs etc.: most are camera lens flare. Check out the MUFON site --lots of lens flare pics. /9 9\ (<- eye roll emoticon I invented.) I have seen a couple that were clearly NOT. And there may very well be creatures of the air or land which we are not aware of.

Telepathy: Are bf telepathic? Are we? IF not, then what is that feeling of being watched, feeling of dread, etc.? This is so common I think no cite needed here. If you can tell us how that works and it's not telepathy, be my guest. I read one yesterday where the guy knew they were laying a trap for him.Story But is this paranormal or actually normal?

Impervious to bullets? They get shot, they bleed. Some die. Moose hunter report from Canada 1943(?), several others including the recent Sierra hunter killing two east of Sacramento, if true. Killing a critter with a bullet is a matter of where you hit them and the caliber, etc. Sometimes one shot does it, pop, down they go. Others times you can shoot ten times and they walk off and live to tell. Why, Fresno PD often will use 100 or more bullets to bring down a perp, according to the Bee, only hitting the guy three times in a leg or something. I wonder if they are just bad shots, but seems like they have to be better than most.

I know they can be "invisible" out in the sunlight, but I don't think it's paranormal, I think their hairs have some kind of optical property enabling them to "disappear." And causing us to get blurry pics. Maybe. Until we can prove this one way or another, it's moot. The black ones are so dead black the hair seems impervious to light. I think a game of hide and go seek, which trains our spawn to hide, played by grown ups, might surprise us with how well we too can hide when we try.

I have never heard of electrical interference or poltergeists or cattle mutilations associated with bigfoot. I never heard of them floating, flying, etc. What're you talking about? Cite reports or something.

Footprints do NOT always have three or six toes, not five. Here you lose credibility. Mostly have five. Less than five, frostbite, infection, snake bite, or a fight, little brother bit it off.....many explanations possible.

More than five, over-stepped, a bone nodule, a little torque in the gait, a dingleberry on the foot, could be lots of things, too.

Tracks that stop or start: they can jump pretty far and climb trees, and have or may have underground shelters. Underground noises can be a lot of things too. No points there.

Speeds of 60 mph? Cite reports. I have heard of them going darn fast, and keeping up with cars at times. If we can run, say 20 mph, then with their longer legs, maybe they can run 30 mph at least. Mid tarsal break might add to that. But 60? Cite cite cite. Even then, how is it paranormal?

According to science, nothing can see using visible light when there IS no visible light. A little is all it takes for some creatures. Other creatures see in different spectra, UV(birds), infrared (pit vipers), electromagnetic fields (fish). There are a great many possible explanations. Hearing and vocal ranges of various creatures and even among age groups of the same creature, such as us humans, are scientifically explained.

Very interesting points Grayjay. I would add: 5 Possible ability to hear (discern) digital cameras or camcorders, due to EMF generated by them while operating.

When I was borned my first language was spanish and not english but I was living in the USA.This telepathy thing is a projection of sorts ,and that the way i see it.There are Two events that happen to me that I have no explanation for except telepathy of some sort. The first event that happen to me was on a evening during hunting season,This is in a area that i knew there was a creature in the area.I started to expierment since i have heard that these creatures have this ability.I started thinking in my mind that this creature could bring me some deer(sounds crazy i know)but i tried it.I sat there for about four hours waiting and nothing happen,(now in my mind I was just saying to myself that this is so full of crap)But i kept thinking in my mind of those deer.It was now around 7:00pm and it was still some what day light, thats when it happen. Five hours into this hunt these two does come running into my sight at about fifty yards and stop and look right at me.Behind me I start hearing this real heavy breathing and I mean real heavy heavy breathing. It was the middle of october and the rut has not even started. It was still bow season. All I know is that this fear came over me and i was 20' in the air and i did not feel safe at that time.I looked around on that stand to see if I could see what it was that was breathing so hard i even yelled at it but it did not spook.I was freaked and to get back to my truck i had to walk back through the area of where this thing was with my bow and arrow and a knife. But I believe that this was my first expierance with thought projection.

My second time my expierance was with a crows feather i found on the trail. That started by me asking for a crows feather but I never asked where i wanted to find it.What i do find odd about this feather is that I could have just walked right past it but i did not. I looked down at the right moment and found that feather that i had asked for earler at that particular moment.

All i can say is that there is just alot of strange things that go on in the woods that i hunt in that i cannot explain and if I had all the answer i would not be here.

People who have BF around, eventually realize that they have orbs, too. I don't know what they are, but they are always here. I have four cameras & have orb pictures from all four of them. Other people who take pictures here get them, too.

I won't bother to post orb pics because they would only lead to arguments, but these balls of light are something different. Do you think these are lens flare?

Hi Sasfooty,

Regarding the orbs, are any of your cameras non-digital? I can always get orbs on my digitals and I have never gotten an orb on my film cameras. Just curious.

Maybe they're droplets on the lens that catch the sunlight?

Both of those pictures were taken after sunset.

Oh, well maybe it was some other bright source of light just out of shot. Maybe if you try using a lens hood to block it out?

Or maybe it was a floating spirit and you can't do anything about that. ;)
