I watched this today and was wondering if anyone else had given it a glimmer? It tells the story of Daniel Lee Barnett, a 14 year old autistic from the UK who becomes obsessed with BF (thanks in part to his grandfather who got him watching Finding Bigfoot and Expedition Bigfoot) and who's life is centered around proving its existence. He has a podcast, has given lectures, and apparently has done an EDNA study on evidence in the UK he collected. This brings him into contact with several BF "heavy hitters" from Bobo to Renea to Ronny LeBlanc (meh) to RPG. It follows his journey from investigating the UK to getting him to Florida for a conference where he speaks and then to the Northwest and the HQ of The Olympic Project and a night investigation there. I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.

First, the compelling part is how this kid achieves his goals despite his autism. He has an endearing family who supports him and that is what makes the film. His grandpa is a jewel of a man and his Nan is the best grandma. I mean, how many of us would love to have a gramma who packs a picnic lunch to take and join us in sitting in the woods for hours looking for an admittedly elusive, mythological creature? Seeing this young man push through his anxieties and fears to get the job done is inspiring and does your heart good.

My issue, not to spoil things, is that when he gets to the NW, for this amazing opportunity...OF COURSE there is a dramatic encounter. Would we be happy if there wasn't a happy pay off at the end? Especially after he meets Bobo and the BF legend talks about first timers luck and how he was probably going to see some action? And yes, it was emotional for the people and compelling. But my cynic's heart kept telling me...wellllll, aint that a happy coincidence? But, despite that...and LeBlanc being in it ( I just think the guy is way off the beam and an opportunist who hitches his wagon too much) I would recommend you grab a cup pf coffee and give up about 90 minutes to encourage this young chap to keep going.

The local research group I belong to, the "Bukwas Crew", has been involved in a couple of new productions on the subject of Sasquatch. The group consists of Thomas Steenburg, Gerry Matthews, Leon Thomson, Bill Reid(MagniAesir), and myself(BCWitness),. We were approached in the spring by a journalist with a request to shoot a documentary for a Utube channel. After some discussion, we agreed to participate, and the resulting doc will come out in December.

The producer apparently liked the doc, and asked if we'd take part in a series, probably 6 to 8 episodes, and we also agreed to that. As of Wednesday this week, we completed shooting that content, which is now in editing, and should come out in about February.

Both projects follow us to both historic and more recent sighting locations here in BC, Canada, mostly in the upper Fraser Valley and Harrison Lake areas. What you will not see is any call blasting or tree banging, like some previous shows seemed to love.

From the "golden age of television," this hokey C Grade monster slasher movie isn't terrible. It's worth a quick watch (with beer) if for no other reason you can see how badly professional movie makers could be with a suit, special effects, etc.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned this movie. It may be the swan song for Sam Elliot, which would be unfortunate, and it's a great move. Terrible Bigfoot costume, but still a great movie about an old man coming to grips with his life.

I watched this yesterday. If any of you are wondering about if it is worth watching....NO.
Are you going to see any amazing evidence, gain new insight into the subject, or learn anything new in any way? NO.

Is it worth the $2.99 Amazon rental fee? NO.

Are you going to see a giggling girls club waving pink and green smoke bombs as they walk in slow-mo, learn they hate spiders, learn they can't keep a canoe afloat, learn they "work hard, play hard. and love hard", and watch a brief night "expedition" that yields nothing but watching one of them remove her make up, and listen to one talk about her psychic abilities to remote view Bigfoot (as well as locate missing persons and solve crimes)? YES

Is Jason Kenzie clearly a poor documentarian and completely buffoonish interviewer? YES.

Don't walk...RUN away from this dreck.

There was NO Bigfoot creature in this film. None. There was unconvincing knocks, whoops, growls (one was a Tiger recording) things slapping the tent, brush breaking, etc. And for mercy sakes!? Get out of the tent! Your just a nylon enchilada! We also saw some fake hair at one point and some foot prints by the creek.

What I did enjoy about the film was that they actually shot this at Bluff creek. So if your curious about the area? The film delivered there.

"A skeptical tabloid reporter is sent into the mountains to investigate a string of Bigfoot sightings. He soon learns that the creature is nothing more than a beer-drinking, panty-stealing party animal. "

This is easily the worst movie ever made. There is no plot, terrible acting, the bigfoot costume is from the Walmart halloween collection, there is exactly one good joke and the girls are not that attractive. Yet, after the 4th beer, it didn't seem so bad.

Review: Two hours long but interesting. A local Wisconsin field researcher shares his outings while recording video/audio at his research area over the last 5 years. He takes different people with him so they can corroborate should any activity occur. Rock throwing, wood knocks, eye shine and vocalizations are documented on video.

Bachochin is very open, presents his family on camera which is very difficult to do for many field researchers of the subject. He comes across as genuine and honest. There is also a very interesting interview with a retired police officer who had an encounter in 1985. I enjoyed it.

After losing their home following a devastating tragedy, a father and son are forced to move to an old family cabin. When two old friends arrive for a weekend of hunting, what begins as a bonding trip becomes an unimaginable nightmare. This trip deep into the forest will not find wild game, but does unearth a tribe of Sasquatch that are determined to protect their land.

The movie actually has a plot. It's a modern take on one of the classic Bigfoot stories (I won't spoil it). I like to watch these to see the quality of the costumes. Lets just say that they are not getting any better. The movie starts slow but quickly picks up. It's worth 90 minutes if you're bored.
