Has Anyone Here Seen Bigfoot On More Than One Occasion?

If you find out where they hang out and go look for them you can occasionally get a glimpse of one.

People who claim to have had multiple sightings usually send up the red flag but that's unfair and unscientific. The reality is, if you accept the premise that it's possible that such an animal exists, that it is possible that someone who is actively searching for them might encounter them more than once. Of course, if they are saying that bigfoot ate their dog and stole their wife at separate times, yeah... red flag.

Had another audio encounter last night when I went to retrieve the gift basket I left them last time. It was moved 6 feet away, hidden under brush and mostly empty (they left the glow in the dark stars, lol). We were then followed basically back to my friend's car.

Madison,

Did you look around and see if a gift was left for you?

  • While visiting a cemetery and ghost town with reported activity, I heard a "fake" siren and occasionally heard what sounded like people chatting, off in the brush. I found a rather deep (old) footprint, but the toes had caught some debris and didn't show well. Other bigfoot sign was in the area.

That sounds similar to one of my two experiences in Virginia (Fort Lee In 1979 & Roanoke In 1999). Can you give a detailed description of the "siren" sound?

I can do better than a detailed description. Stan Courtney was doing an interview at the same location when they heard and recorded the same thing.

Visit his suspected bigfoot sounds page, and look under the Bigfoot Mimicked Sounds, Sirens. Check out Bachelors Grove Howl and Lake Howl. The Bachelors Grove Howl gets cut off, but you can hear the Lake Howl clearly. I do not know where Stan got the Lake Howl from.

I heard it from the forest preserve to the west. Stan and John Stephenson heard it from the preserve to the north. It sounds like a siren, but more organic. To the best of my knowledge, none of the sirens used in the area sound like that; they are actually quite different, more like horns, bleeps, and whistles, and all are multi-tone. For both me and Stan, it only sounded once, which was also quite unlike any normal siren. I started hearing the faint murmuring about 5 to 10 minutes later. I looked around toward the sound, and looked through the ground cover and a little into the trees, but saw nothing.

BTW, there is a dirt path that follows along the old Midlothian Turnpike between the Bachelors Grove Cemetery and the abandoned town of Bachelors Grove (now just a handful of holes where some houses used to be). When I found the footprint there and heard the "siren", the path was free of obstructions. When I returned a few months later, a nice, green, sturdy, non-rotten tree had broken over, across the path.

Also, if you read Stan's blog on Bachelors Grove, and see the photos of the tree structure; all of the logs (and they are logs) used to build the structure were relocated from somewhere else, including the big one that was 18 to 20 inches in diameter. Some still had bits of their root balls, while others had broken ends. The big log was massive, but there was no sign that it had been dragged to the location. The structure has been recently rearranged, and was rather new when Stan photographed it. According to the witness, it was open forest, and then a couple weeks later, the structure appeared there.

I have always found the idea of people with multiple encounters sending up red flags as funny. if they are flesh and blood animals they are out there. Even if they are flesh and blood variant of human. Flesh and blood means they are out there 24/7. It makes me laugh often when I hear that now.

Of coarse if they are getting dropped off by spacecraft, slipping through worm holes, ghosts or witches that shapeshift. then having more than one sighting would be strange indeed.

I guess it is all based on what you want to believe; because it is the thought that becomes the reality.

Holy crap, this is almost exactly the same sound but with one difference - the "siren" I heard did not taper off, it went on and on and then suddenly stopped. We were roughly 20 yards away, so our distance from the source may have something to do with my perception of the sound or may have had some impact on the acoustics.

I used to Mountain Bike 2-4 times a week, going 5-15 miles into the forest by myself and I had one stereotypical non-visual daytime "escort" encounter in the woods in Virginia in 20 years of biking - while my first encounter was more unusual. Assuming that they (whatever they are) do exist, and given my proclivity for going deep into the woods by myself on weekdays (when nobody else was around), I fail to see any reason why me having two encounters in two decades in the same state could send up red flags, so I simply can't understand why it would be a red flag in anyone elses case either. To be more precise, you are simply going to find yourself in their territory at the same time they are, or you're not. The only other variables I can see that affect your chances of an encounter are the elements of surprise/stealth and the temperament of the individual sasquatch. Questioning someones ability to be mindful enough to be able to reproduce the conditions that led to an encounter experience is actually more than just a little demeaning.

Yep, multiple times and even the same individual multiple times.

But as madison and ajciani also say, it's not really "luck" at all. Once you start knowing what to look for, and listen for, become good at interpreting maps, and identifying where to find them, the chances of an encounter increase considerably.

Coonbo, Most of the times that I have seen them I was not looking for them. I was not out digging around in the woods or even thinking about them. I have had observations over a period of time where I was looking into an area where I had a sighting and then made several trips back into this location...so I have activly sought them out. The majority of the time it was just chance encounters. Like I happened to be driving down that section of blacktop at the moment that one ran in front of the car, or happened to pull over at the reststop. Once I was looking up at the cliff and the moon, slowly realized that there was an extra Tree on the horizon, and it moved...it walked away. Okay I hit the brakes and watched it walking; that was the most bizare tree I had ever seen....LOL. They seem to congregate along the road in that area of Colorado and I saw them several times from my car along that stretch.

I know that I am not the only person either, because someone seemed to be tossing groceries out into the road. I can't tell you how many times I saw Oranges, Frozen unwrapped chickens, Banana's, Heads of Lettuce, what looked like Asparagas, I mean you name it along the blacktop. I really would love to meet the person that is doing this if it is an effort to find BF, because I bet they have great stories.

Just like many of the proponents, the skeptics get caught up in 'no one ever sees them,' and come up with theories why. Seeing an elusive critter more than once might be durn lucky, but if you are in their territory a lot, it ain't necessarily Powerball.

My current favorite is "there can't be more than one species," as if the number of species exponentially boosts the number of individuals or something. Encounter reports support the idea (although one could also postulate a range of physical appearances approximating what is observed in us). There is more than one kind of most American mammals; and everywhere there is a known wild hominoid, there is another.

Oh yeah, people are by far the oddest creature on the planet.

I have heard everything from...you could't have because BF are not 'white'. Though now in Eagle county Colorado there is a sighting report of the white ghosts or something on the flattops, deepcreek. The farmers and ranchers that my friend spoke to all said it was white. One guy I spoke to called the really big one Uncle Sam...and fed him Hershey's bars. He was the first one to make me aware that there was a decent sized group of them.

to you couldn't have because no one sees one more than once. Even the PGF guys only got one shot at it. They tried the rest of their lives to see another one and failed, so how can you be seeing them more than once! And yes I did actually hear that roll off of someones tongue.

To there is no way that anything can get that tall. Bigfoots are between 6-8 feet tall. They can not get any taller than that EVER because it is impossible for anything to get that big. This was in reference to the one that paced our car...we estimated he was 12 feet tall. I have since seen two others that were in the neighborhood of 11 feet tall. And a whole bunch more that were inside of the comfortable average that I have been told are the only ones that might exist...LOL. The Teddy bear is probably in the neighborhood of 6-8 feet. She is bulky and round, much like Patty. where the huge huge tall ones were still bigger than a man would be, but narrower built not bulky. Tall and leaner than you would think of a BF to be. Narrow in the hips and wide in the shoulders. Defined muscle under the hair across those shoulders, and along the back. The legs were massive and natural looking. It moved through snow like nothing, keeping pace with our car. It ran down a ravine that I now know is roccky and steep straightening its back but not slowing down...Everything about the big tall ones I have seen seems powerful and strong....where the bulky ones just look big. There is a difference.

I fully believe that there could be seperate species of them. Though the difference could be as simple as male to female. Or in human women you get the apple, pear, bean shapes...apples being round core bodies, pears having a large bottom, and beans just being thin....not many of us girls have the old hourglass naturally...

Point is there are more than just one. They don't have to look just like Patty to be a BF.

I have learned to keep my own council on the subject. I don't really care anymore if people believe me, I am not out to make others believe. I never really was to start with. I naively thought that I should report everything because I thought it would help lead to a discovery, to them being proven. Offer validation to all of the people like me that got ridiculed or laughed at. Believing that every bit of information was being used scientifically.

LOL. Cheers to everyone here, a hug to all of those that have been scoffed at by others for telling their experiences. Don't give up in your theories because others disbelieve, hold your theories until you have reason to change them.

Sounds like the right attitude to me. And double no kidding on reporting everything to 'authorities' who will just know what to do with it.

The really big ones are easy to explain; humans exist who are taller than most sasquatch reported. Gigantism can exist with them too.
