If A Suit And Not Bh Then Who?

kitakaze,

I'm sure it was Ray's nephew Dale, I thought it odd as I'd not recalled the claim. I snapped a photo of computer screen so I'd remember it, but can't remember where I found the article, think it was in a magazine or paper ? But he did say it was Ray's wife wearin' a costume that was filmed(PGF).

I can't help but notice that suit looks nothing like Patty.

Why sure it does - from a distance through a lens darkly...................I was told something like that by a guy with a Master's in geology.

There was no lack of confusion in the media over who said what. A brief history of some of it:

Come on, you're just not putting enough effort into this Kit. Try harder.

I think Roger was trying to convey that it was a happy Bigfoot and just wanted to be her friend.

You don't seem to want to give this important issue serious consideration.

Rogue, do you think Merritt was being hoaxed, including the use of a suit that appeared to Florence to have a partial grin in the mask, or do you think that an actual Bigfoot came to Yakima and visited Merrrit's home at least three times?

By your changing of the testimony to the alleged creature smiling and then waving, it seems you are suggesting the latter.

Sorry Kit but you'll just have to wait for the documentary. :(

All I can say at this point is I'm conducting interviews with both Roger Patterson and Jerry Merritt via psychic medium. It's going to be face melting.

Now, let's get back to the topic.

I can't say for sure what it was that you were looking at, but as I showed you, Elna Wallace was filmed wearing Bigfoot suits for Ray's hoaxing. You may be thinking of a 2003 article by Franz Lidz. The relevant portion is this...

The most famous "evidence," a blurry 1967 home movie of a startled specimen striding into a thicket, also may have been Wallace's work: possibly his wife, Elna, in an ape suit. "Ray L. Wallace was Bigfoot," his son Michael confessed last month. "The reality is, Bigfoot just died."

As you can see with careful reading, that is not a family member claiming Elna as Patty, but speculation on the part of the journalist. Or was it something else? I have never heard of Michael or Dale making any claims about Elna and Patty.

Do you think you're the only one allowed to exaggerate the facts with your 'Bob and Bob: Best Friends Forever' story?

Since it seems to be the acceptable way to present the 'real story', we should all jump on the bandwagon.

Saying Heironimus was a trusted friend is not an exaggeration, but rather based not only on Gimlin's words, but also Heironimus' and his wife. These men were in fact good friends for many, many years. Best friends forever is your hyperbole, not mine. In your distortion of Florence's testimony you present smiling and waving as a reason to be incredulous of the notion a suit was used by Roger, as if the act of smiling made that somehow unlikely...

In one of those instances Bigfoot smiled at his wife and waved.

Another instance took place with his wife well after the PGF in 1968.

If these were Roger's doing then who wore the suit, where is that suit, and how did he get it to smile?

When in reality to leave Florence with the impression of a partial grin, Patterson would need only acquire something readily available at the time, including from Philip Morris.

Bigfoot was not coming to town in Yakima. The Merritts were being hoaxed.

In your opinion.

BTW, speaking of Yakima...did you ever find any hospital records from that time period substantiating a patient being admitted with mangled...er..."junk"...after the one BF sighting where it was attacked by a dog in that region?

Yes, I was in Yakima working on the project and swung by Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. I caroused over to information and asked how I might go about checking for records of a patient admitted for a dog bite to the groin. When the lovely lady finished staring and asked when, I said 1967. I didn't bother mentioning Bigfoot to the men escorting me from the building.

So no joy then...so much for that theory then. Still no proof of any hoax in Yakima.

Of all these BF sightings in Yakima, how many of them noticed large breasts on the BF?

The reason I'm asking is because if all these were hoaxes and they don't have noticeable breasts, then it would be an indication (if you believe the "all must be hoaxes" theory) that Patterson had more than one suit. In fact, he possibly would have to have a collection of suits.

I'm finding it rather difficult to believe that Roger had two or more suits. Now, if he did have two or more suits.... which suit is kitakaze claiming to have found?

So you're trying tell us that Florence wasn't capable of identifying a cheesy gorilla costume?

That's hilarious.

Not sure why it is that you keep pointing to Patterson for the hoaxing, considering that Bob H was the guy seen with a monkey suit in his car.

Not to mention that the sightings in 1966 were of a 7ft or so white/grey bigfoot. If the insinuation is that Patterson was the one going around hoaxing all these sightings then there was a white/grey 'suit' as well.

Roger must have been cranking those 'suits' out on a conveyor belt.

I'm finding it rather difficult to believe that Roger had two or more suits.

AND two or more actual suit WEARERS.
