Bigfoot, Friend Or Foe?

Ok. Thank you for elaborating. So they were able to mind speak to you. Where you able to mind speak back to them? More importantly, what did they say?

Yes, quite able. That's one of the things that Cotter asked about that was shown to be wrong with what we have been taught.

What did they say? I think I wrote about that in another thread.

What does a five year old say? "What's that? Why are you doing that? Where are you going? OH! That's pretty! The cow is limping. Go see about her." Etc, etc, etc.

Then there are some more interesting & profound things, if we ask the right questions.

What thread? What questions did you ask?

Hmmm I did not realize this thread still had life, I wondered where everybody went around here.

I guess the telepathy notion would put Sasfooty in the camp of viewing Sasquatch as a friend,

although a bit of a menacing one.  I kind of am on the fence with a lot of issues regarding this creature,

I want to resort to pure rationalism and not allow for anything paranormal,  yet so many people have

commented on the seemingly super powers of the creature that I am reluctant to rule out any possibilities.

I know I have thought I was communicating to them in my thoughts at times, although I guess that would

be like thinking you were communicating to a lost loved one, or someone far from you who you hold dear.

I cannot help but wonder at how I spent a year or so really delving into the notion of the creature and then

out of the blue I have them visiting my property.  Could they have tuned into my perception of their existence and

decided to pay me a visit?   While sounding crazy it really felt like that is what happened in a way...the thing that

haunts me is a moaning howl I recorded, it actually seemed quite sad.

Or....could they have been tuned into you (chosen you) first, causing you to begin thinking about them?

What comes first? The chicken or the egg?

Now I'm channeling a Cole Porter tune, "Anything Goes."

Heck, maybe bigfoot implanted the suggestion in my mind. Could be, after all, anything goes.

It's been said time and time again in this thread that you cannot lump these creatures in one category or another.  I don't doubt that Sasfooty had a surreal, wonderful, life-changing experience with one particular family of BF.  I also don't doubt that it could have just as easily gone very, very badly for her with a different group, even though her actions, attitudes, and intentions were absolutely identical and just as pure.

When I lived south of Hobo Station, MS, the boogers I encountered there were very belligerent and I seriously feared for my life a few times.  You may remember the story of the booger coming onto my back deck and trying to open the back door.  I would have killed him, or died trying, if that door had opened.  Then later he punched the side of the trailer right on the other side of the wall from my head.  In spite of me learning and trying not to further provoke them, over several months, things slowly escalated (or deteriorated) there to the point that one night about 1:30am, I'd had enough.  I flung open the back door, my Mini-14 in hand, fired three or four shots, quickly stepped out onto the deck and ripped off around 15 more shots into the creek bed (that was my north property line) and the trees beyond.  That was the end of the crap.  I don't know if you can say I earned their respect, but they were certainly wary of me after that.  I believe that if Sasfooty had tried to interact with that bunch, the only way we'd have ever heard of her was if we'd seen a missing person story and that search parties were being organized.

I moved down the road east of Hobo Station and the boogers there were the benevolent type that Sasfooty (lucky for her) encountered.  They were mostly tricksters and the worst they ever did was nab my neighbor's barky dogs (after I told him he needed to bring them in at night or they would disappear), and tried to lure my dogs to them.  I spoke to the boogers, told them not to bother my dogs, that I loved my dogs, that they were good dogs, and that I would be VERY angry if anything happened to them.  I felt like an idiot doing that, but danged if they didn't leave my dogs alone after that.  They watched my every move, but would not show themselves if I had ANYTHING in my hands.  I never saw or heard what I thought might be the Alpha male or female.  They would throw stuff at the trail cams I set out, somehow knew which direction the camera was pointed, and I never got a single picture of anything other than my dogs, native varmints and animals, or flying blurs that I took to be either rocks or sticks or birds.  I found dings on the side of the camera housing and then found rocks laying nearby.  I interacted with them vocally almost every day.  Within a couple of months, I felt relatively safe there.  I planted two gardens, one next to my house, and per my great-grandmother's advice, one next to the woods for the boogers. I had multiple good experiences with them and truly hated to leave them when I moved to Missouri.

In my experience, in several different locations, I've found HUGE differences in the dispositions of members of BF troups that even lived adjacent to each other.  Any of them can be capable of killing us, and until you've spent enough time around a particular group in a particular location, you cannot trust them,  You cannot let your guard down.  And even if you DO trust them, what guarantee do you have that you aren't going to catch them on a really bad day?  That somebody hasn't done something to them to turn them against ALL humans, as has happened with other animals?

Very nice and informative post Coonbo,  I have to agree with you on your conclusion not to lump the creature into

a box, there are Mother Theresa's and Adolf Hitler's and everything in between in our clan, so also with the Squatch.

If we are to rule out the idea of good and evil and simply resort to behaviorism and conditioning then we make them

purely animal, and I would suggest they demonstrate higher intelligence than that.

OK, I'm going to say something here. I don't mean to offend, so I hope this is taken in the spirit of discussion.

What's up with all of the cryptic innuendo? Walk more closely? Profound, yet mundane? Hold up a mirror so you can see who you really are?

So, Bigfoot has a right to act aggressively toward those who aren't spiritually attuned? Attuned to what, if I might ask? And please - Put it out there without telling me that I need to search myself before I'll "know."

You know, my approach toward them has a lot to do with where they fall in my scheme, which is the right to exist peacefully with my family without being threatened with aggressive behaviors from any creature.

So, please, if you "know," tell us what you know.

I'll say it again - This discussion needs to be in the Premium Access Forum. That way we can elaborate on the spiritual aspects of this topic.

I feel your frustration, I really do and I dont mean to be so cryptic as the rule set limits this discussion. I would much rather see the forum not have a separation with  premium and standard membership sections and just have a donate button. Open it up...problem solved. If you would like to get to know me personally then I may tell you what I know in a more detailed manner if a trusting exchange takes place over time. Thats really the best I can do in further details.

As for things that I can say that are within the rules.

I feel there is some kind of arrangement or reason why some people have encounters and others do not. I feel the nature of content that is exchanged during the encounter/s is related to specifically...things like, what you believe in, what is important to you, does one believe in God, gods or not at all, do you believe in a more new age spirituality, etc. I am not discussing the specifics of any of those no no topics however I do feel that how an experience plays out is related to where on may fall in that regard. In my particular experiences which did include mind speak and other methods of communication in which they had a very definite line of beliefs that they either thought were in alignment with my own or wanted to tweak mine in order to more closely conform to theirs. Now certainly before I had these experiences there would be no way I could relate with someone who had, and I think that is the divide that we see between the various cross sections of people on this forum and frankly around the world. The divisions come from the guy who just sees one off in the distance one time, or the guy who sees them a few times but experiences none of the more "out there" aspects, to the guy who sees one and a UFO in the same general area, to the guy who has them on his property just playing pranks, to the guy who is in a battle with them on his property, to the guy who never ever sees or gets close to one, to the guy who has them speaking in telepathic ways and exhibiting other supernatural abilities... Heck with all this diversity in experiences we cant even believe each other amongst we the encounters. I think often times we think because it happened this way for me then it cant be another way for someone else, and that keeps us all divided. Im not sure what else to say.

I started a thread a while back to look not so much at the actual details of the encounter like all the other databases and reports, but to look at the individuals personal attributes to see if there was a connection or a commonality with the persons having the experiences. A common thread if you will.

I think it could/would be a valuable exercise.... This was the thread:  http://bigfootforums.com/index.php/topic/39793-outside-the-box-might-we-study-ourselves/

BFF Patron

Science is just getting into this psychic paranormal stuff as it relates to the human mind.    MRI's, brain wave research, etc.   Some of the "Through the Wormhole" series has addressed this research.    I cannot remember all of it but some humans seem to be capable of precognitive abilities by guessing at more than random chance which side of a slit screen will illuminate.    Others are selecting at a far greater rate than random,  simple geometrical figures that someone in a nearby shielded room is thinking of which indicates there might be something to telepathy.      All of this research is in its infancy but science is starting to look at it with appropriate controls.        The results to date indicate that the human mind has capabilities once thought as paranormal and they are zeroing in on the portions of the brain that seem to be involved.     So declaring humans do not have psychic abilities is just not accurate.   Humans have throughout history been very gadget (tool) dependent.   Modern humans ever more so.   We have people walking in front of trains because they have their head in their smart phones texting.     So the BF culture, which does not seem to have embraced tool use and  is dependent on avoiding human contact,  may still have abilities that either modern humans had and lost with technology, or never had.     We hardly understand human capabilities with this stuff and really have no idea other than witness accounts of BF abilities in this area.    So for me the jury is out on this topic without more observational data with appropriate controls.   RR

I wouldn't call it a wonderful life changing experience. It was more like a perplexing life changing experience. If I had to divide it between good, bad & neutral, I'd have to say it was about 20% good, 30% neutral, & 50% bad, as far as enjoyability went. The problem is that once I got in, it was extremely addictive, & no matter how much I sometimes wanted to get out, the strongest part of me didn't ever want to.

There are definitely bad ones & the meanest ones I met were females.

I understand why you may feel that way, but it's not that simple.

Thats all you have? Eh why do I bother...sigh. I have shared all that I am going to on this forum...peace.

That's what I said, not all I have. I addressed your proposed solution to a perceived problem on your part. I'm sorry the answer didn't suit you.
