It's significant that bigfoot skepticism - a belief system almost entirely a tissue of assumptions and wrong gut - spends a lot of time dissing the scientific gut, which has this remarkable tendency to win stuff like Nobel Prizes, and has done more than any other single thing to turn no-way fantasies into hard facts that bigfoot skeptics take for granted.
