As Bill points out, a human head will fit in the same space, but not in the same location relative to the shoulders.

Patty does all her movement so fluidly that things like this get ignored even though they are pretty obvious.

I don't think that an 'average sized' human head would fit into the space of Patty's head, Salubrious....in the cranium, at least. Patty's head is just too sharply-sloped, for that.

Agreed Sweaty. You'd have to slice off part of the cranium for a human head to fit, particularly Mr Heironimus'. In that case, he'd be dead.

There is no way that a hoaxer would attempt to film this mask on a person let alone to get the person to turn their head wearing it no way at all full stop never never never never and never again ten times over.

...and if Bob Heironimus is to be believed, all the time he has a glued Glass Eye in the right eye hole.  Hard to walk with that on level ground let alone a creek bed.

Perhaps if a model of the mask provided by Bill were made of a pliable material were used (not that it has to be provided by Bill, but that it should resemble the size/shape prior to being worn).

What shape would then be formed if it had to be pulled down so the wearer could see through the eye holes.

What deformation would then take place?

Don't forget as well that Bob Heironimus claimed that the mask itself was actually a way off his face. Various tellings, depending on who is speaking to, cite this distance from his face to the mask as between quarter of an inch to 2 inches.

^^

And when the head turned there was no slippage of anything mask-like, no bunching around the edges of the face in relation to the alleged costume.

Bill-

Have you discovered anything new with regard to the film?

Just wondering if there is an update.

Bill what do you think the odds are that all three of these photos clips are showing red Dynel as the material in the animals?  Obviously Mr. Morris gets a shoe in vote but the other two are suspicious to my eye.

What animals?  In each case it looks like someone was after a particular color for a Bigfoot suit.

I was being kind to the folks who think the center photo is a real bigfoot.  Ms Coy's friend and Mr Morris are most likely on the fake side.

Of course - who waste time on Carter Coy and Morris these days?

Drew:

Work continues but nothing to announce or discuss at this time.

Crow:

Dynal was one of those "miracle fibers" that became a household name in the 60's because it was one of the first extruded resin fibers to look like hair and so Dynal wigs were openly advertised as made with Dynal, as if it was a  mark of quality (the synthetics before were pretty cheap looking, by comparison.) But Since then, there have been a lot of new artificial fibers made with no name the public would recognize, and Dynal has sort of gone the way of the Edsil and the Aresol spray. It would have been reasonable for morris to use a Dynal fur, but if the other photos are more recent fur materials, they likely are not.

This red Dynel (or Dynal) sounds kind of like the "Sony Walkman" of the time of synthetic hair.  Like, those kids in the early 80's who all had a "Walkman" - apparently all the fake BF suit wearing people are/were all using red Dynel/Dynal?  And red Dynel/al is probably about as relevant to the conversation of BF as a Sony Walkman would be to be honest.   Did Morris use a Walkman or off brand like Sanyo?  Either way, it was a beyond ****-poor suit he came up with in comparison to what we see in the PGF.

They are only of value to compare against those images that bear a close similarity.  I'd love to see a full body shot of the rug next to Coy though.
