Go look around in the woods for about a week? Wow.

Or you could have hundreds of remote cameras set up all over Bigfoot Central for years...

Bigbfmap6.jpg

Not just the PNW, of course...

Wow  51 Trail Cameras.  WOW  51!  You mean not 510, 5100, or even 510,000?

There are millions and millions of anti-personal land mines left from past wars and conflicts of Laos, VietNam just to name a few.  Of the horrible 70 injuries or death each day due to land mines somewhere in the world only a tiny number of these have occurred in the densly forested jungle regions of Loas, Cambodia, and Vietnam.  Of the 110,000,000 active mines deployed in the world, there are est 70 deaths or injuries a day attributed to them.  That is 1,571,429 mines per each death or injury. (a horrible thing no matter what the number)

So 51 cameras in some areas of the woods is suppose to impress us as to being effective in seeing Bigfoot?  Come one man.

When you take just 51 cameras and put them in the woods limited to just one line of site, what are the odds you will see a creature such as bigfoot should it exist?

As a refresher, lets not forget the REAL WORLD example of our lost child in Virginia:

Search area:  About 3-5 mile radius

Number of searchers:   3,000- 5,000 daily including tracking dogs, night vision gear, helicoptors, and so on.

Result:  It took 6 DAYS to find the kid.

SEE HERE:

"An 8-year-old autistic boy who went missing from a central Virginia park five days ago was discovered alive Friday at a nearby quarry, authorities said.

Found curled in a fetal position, the boy was "in serious but good shape," Hines added. "Whenever a child is missing, everyone steps up. And that's what happened today."

Robert was taken by helicopter to the Children's Hospital of Richmond, where he was reunited with his family about 3 p.m.

Dr. Christopher Woleben told CNN late Friday that the boy -- who cannot speak, due to his autism -- was "awake, alert (and) surprisingly interactive" when he got to the emergency room.

"He was excited to see his mother, smiling every time he saw her," Woleben said. "He did have some signs and symptoms consistent with cold exposure, and we did a pretty thorough medical investigation."

The boy wandered away Sunday while on a hike with his father, father's girlfriend and his younger brother at the 80-acre North Anna Battlefield Park, according to CNN affiliate WTVR. The park is in Doswell, about 45 miles north of Petersburg and 80 miles south of Washington.

In subsequent days, approximately 6,000 volunteers had joined roughly 300 rescuers looking for young Robert in and around the Civil War battlefield. The boy was found between 3/4 of a mile and one mile from where he was last seen, according to Hines.

The lieutenant colonel said authorities had to turn volunteers away because of the strong desire to help, applauding their service."

Anyone going to tell me such an effort has been applied to looking for bigfoot?  No way.  51 Cameras in the PNW looking for bigfoot.  51.  Really.

BD

Lets not forget? We have lousey camera trap photos. They are dismissed as mangy bears, ghillie suits, etc.

So the real question is? How many quality cameramen are in the woods with high quality film? Not many......but we still get a hit, with the "Great North" Imax documentary. But nah.....thats a dude on a moped chasing caribou.....through the tundra of northern Quebec.

What we need is a Bigfoot zoo exhibit with a UHD camera man! Thats what we need.....except if we had that? We wouldnt need the photo would we?

Ludicris that skeptics will not even consider any footage but will bait you with it daily.

I've seen phone camera footage of all manner of bear, wolf, cougar all apex predators with ranges FAR smaller than the CLAIMED sasquatch range. I've read and listened to many, many claims of sasquatches running across multiple lanes of traffic and again the claimed range of these beasties is all of north america, not one has been hit? Perfect frogger records for sasquatches?

And it's me, the skeptic, who is LUDICRIS? It's ludicris to expect that there's been nary a single unequivocal piece of evidence either film or dna, after 35,000 years (ballpark) of co-existence on this continent? Come on Norse, you are rational - this doesn't add up.

We have footage of Bigfoot crossing roads, two seperate ones in Canada come to mind.

Your missing my point though. Skeptics claim we do not have camera trap footage. They use this talking point as a reason why Bigfoot cannot exist. But we DO have camera trap footage. But they throw it out. Same goes for any other type of footage, they throw it out. Even if its a legit camera man who has a impressive pedigree.

Which is fine, but dont tell me there is a piece of film footage out there that is going to make the skies open and the angels sing. Thats ludicris. The reason none of this footage makes a dent in the skeptic is because they have a preconcieved notion as to what the film shows.

And we hair samples whose morpholgy comes back "unknown primate". We just had a giant fossilized tooth stolen in California before it could be tested. There anomolies cost money to get tested. And we are layman. Would it be great to find a complete fossilized skeleton? Absolutely. Some chunk of irrefutable proof. But look at the fossil world. We dont have a complete skeleton of Gigantopethicus either, just a few teeth and some jaw bone. This is mostly what we see, but sometimes we get lucky like the morning star cave in south Africa.

^Norse we have bigfoot chasing cars too.  Camera trap or no camera trap what we don't have is a good in the face crystal clear here it is case closed video of bigfoot.  You seem to leaning towards a let's accept crap and call it evidence position lately.

If anyone has changed Crow its you. Your position now is to berate any and all evidence with impunity. Along with the people submitting or defending evidence.

I dont even think your interested in honest dialogue anymore.

Nope, that's a canard. dna samples would not be reported as "unknown primate". Check out Dr. Disotell speaking on this exact topic on The Bigfoot Show.

PB,

You seemed to have missed the part where I wrote unequivocal evidence.

I could claim I hit a sasquatch on a blog on some sasquatch podcast; where's the evidence of the encounter?

I posit that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to hit a sasquatch with a vehicle and NOT end up with testable dna. Where's the evidence, always conveniently "lost", "stolen", etc.

Just be honest with yourselves. Think.

He means morphology. Many samples lack a medulla, and DNA cannot be extracted.

DNA has been pulled out of polar prints in snow. Don't take my word for it read it for yourself.

http://www.iflscience.com/plants-and-animals/polar-bear-dna-extracted-footprints-snow/

Come on folks. This stuff just does not add up. No one who hit a sasquatch stopped to take a photo of the carcass? No dna tests on a chunk of skin/hair? How many "sasquatch ran in front of my car" or "sasquatch was standing by the side of the road" stories have been on television, podcasts, blogs, etc? Think of the claimed range of the things, the number of animals required to have even a semi-healthy breeding population for such a range.

And never, ever any testable evidence? come on. The blinders required to ignore the inconsistencies in the claims are just....ludicrous

Ok the quote thing is getting out of control and I don't know how to finagle it so sorry.

The thing about photos and videos of sasquatch is that they always seem to end up being equivocal. This photo of a snow leopard is clearly a real animal. It doesn't look like a muppet, it doesn't look like a large house cat, it's a real flesh and blood animal doing animal things. I suggest that if sasquatches existed in the numbers required by the claimed range there would exist, by this point, at least one similar photo.

10x6ij9.jpg

Then, there's the no great ape history for North America. Sasquatch is claimed to be an apex species but nary a bone at la brea. It, la brea, been catching apex predators for millions of years but nada.

Again, of course, the claims of sightings by the sides of roads. Again, no physical evidence.

At what point does a reasonable person admit that this thing is cultural? I honestly cannot imagine how this absence of tangible evidence does not give pause to believers in this myth.

If you had some sort of tangible encounter in your life that you could not explain? It would make more sense as to why you wouldnt just close the door on this subject.

If that snow leopard was chasing that goat below timber line in the Cascades? What do you think that picture would look like?

But there is absolutely some social phenom going on. I do believe that. I think there are people watching finding Bigfoot and they start seeing Bigfoot in their back yard in NYC.

Norse, I sent hairy man the same article and pleaded with her to do the following in "area x".

use a drone craft in winter to scan areas for a trackway. Send a group to the trackway, using the techniques laid out by the scientists who did the polar bear study, to take as many samples as possible. Send those samples to a reputable lab. Disotell would do it, he was on B's "The Bigfoot Show" two or three times and has stated that he does do some limited sampling for known people.

The area x folks claim that they've been studying a group of animals there for years. So, in theory, they "know" the animals are in the area. They know about this technique, hairy man did respond to my entreaty and stated that it was something to consider. That was last winter, and still.

Also, dna can be pulled out of prints in soil too, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22237522   http://www.taq-dna.com/soil-sample-dna-extraction-_629.html. So, even assuming that all of the sasquatches in area x "migrate" without ever leaving a track in snow either leaving or coming back, dna could be pulled from a track during the summer. Again, the area x people have been made aware of this dna ability too. And again, still....

So, again. When does a rational "believer" start to question this amazingly consistent lack of evidence. The excuses for failure are getting thinner with each advance in science and I'm really surprised, it seems as though this stuff is willfully ignored.
