6.14.20 - NorthWind and I met up with Oregon Coast Bigfoot (Jeffrey & Kim) for a great day in the Coast Range. We followed a game trail into the woods for about a half mile,  and pulled off the country backroads at every interesting thing,  but the only forest giants we found today were trees.

Yes, we had a great time. A big shout out and thanks to OCB for having us, and tolerating my humor.

That's awesome!  Glad that you guys could connect with some other researchers.

We have been on the lookout for some other folks in our area, but so far we haven't had much luck.

That's what happens when you haven't been to the barber in 3 months!

NorthWind and I went hiking today, which is what it's really called when you find nada. It was a gorgeous day up in the Willamette Forest, Mt. Washington area, halfway between Eugene and Bend, near the lava fields.

Thank you, folks. Unbelievable country ya got there. Just gorgeous. My spouse, the dog and I are off for ten days camping on the far Downeast Maine coast starting July 5th. Just 30 miles or so short of Canada. Can's wait :)

Thanks, hiflier! I lived in Maine once, outside of Rockland. Roamed all around the area, from Augusta to Camden to Belfast and up through Acadia NP. Maine is very beautiful. I hope to visit again someday. Have a great time!

Beautiful country Madison and Northwind.  Prime sasquatch territory too. Your pictures never cease to amaze.

Never been to Maine's forests but I believe it is the state with the highest percent of forest. Ninety percent, or so. Sparsely populated which is why there aren't more reports coming out of ME.
