How dangerous is it to be BiGFooting alone?

I was listening to a pod cast the other day and they said they are getting more reports of BF being close to towns around populated areas rather than deep in the woods, which I find to be interesting, could be because of what you said hiflier that there are less people to report them but the pod caster was claiming that more BF researchers are reporting this also. He claimed that it looks like they like to hang out in the woods at the edge of populated areas.

My encounter happened deep in the woods, if you call it that, but I am not from a wilderness area like most of you guys are from, so what I call deep woods would probably be like the edge of the city to you guys. We had driven a few hours into the woods then we walked a few more hours to our deer stands.

Wow, Marckc...I would enjoy hearing more about your encounter.  Would you care to share?

Well, I feel bad because I am asking you guys to share with me, yet I am reluctant to share with you guys, I guess because my experience was demonic in nature and it was dark so I did not see anything, so my experience was one of those woo type experiences, so I probably have already said too much and have lost all credibility here. I know that the last thing a big foot researcher or forum owner wants to hear is my story. I am starting to go back into the woods again now after 37 years.

I would be glad to tell of another experience I had when I was paralleled in the woods, when I was about 16 we lived in an apartment complex, and the parking lot was only about 4 feet from some very thick woods, and I loved those woods, I lived in them practically, knew every trail, hunted their every day with my pellet gun for squirrel and birds, I would eat blackbirds and squirrel, guess because my dad brought me up hunting. So about 2 days before I shot a rabbit in this cow pasture next to these woods, and left it there because when I cut it open it had worms. I was in  the same pasture which was surrounded by these woods and was next to the parking lot where my apartments where. I was off to the far end of this pasture when I heard someone walking in the wood smashing down brush right on the other side of the barbed wire fence about 25 feet in coming towards me, and I was walking towards it, so I yelled at them, who are you? but no answer came so I walked a little further and they also walked, smashing down more brush which was very loud and noticeable being that it was only about 20 from me at this point, so I yelled a few more times an no answer, it made me mad to the point that I almost when running towards them and wanted to jump the fence with my bow, with its razor blade arrow in it, to see who it was, because these were my woods, but then I remembered I saw an older man in these woods a few weeks earlier with a long barreled pistol on his hip which was surprising because this was in the city limits, He was coming from a part of the woods that had an abandoned barn on it and for some reason that part of the woods always gave me a creepy feeling, so I never went there, so I changed my mind so i reached the corner of this fence and took a left turn along the fence line heading towards the apartments, so at this point what I thought was a person because I did not believe in BF, and it started to walk parallel to me, when I stopped it stopped, when I walked on it walked along side of me about 12-18 feet from me at this point, and then something hit me, this part of the woods it was walking through was too thick for me to go through, I remembered shooting a bird that fell dead in this section,  and the bushes were those very tight almost like thorn bushes about 5-6 feet tall, and I even tried to crawl into them to get my bird but could not do it, then I noticed it was bipedal and its foot steps were about 4-6 feet apart and these bushes where 5-6 feet tall, so I started to walk very fast and it started to crash through these very sharp bushes and was making a hell of a noise and sounded like it was even stepping over the top of them, so i then took off into a full run, leaped over the fence and ran right into my apartment door, this thing never stopped chasing me until it reached the edge of the parking lot.

I had never experienced anything like this before, thought then it was not a natural being, because there was no way a Bigfoot could be inside of these woods, besides that I did not believe in BF,  yes they were thick and parts of it had large oak trees but it was only about 1/4 mile by 1/4 mile and surrounded by roads and houses etc, so I never thought it was a Bigfoot, I thought it was a super natural type of a creature or something that got mad that I killed that rabbit and left it on the ground, but who knows, I never saw anything, but know this was very real, it did happen, an no way it could have been a human, this thing never left my side it paralleled me even when I was at a full run, and it sounded like it was mowing trees down to do it, even sounded like it snapped some large tree branches.

I never felt the same about going back into those woods again, and took me 3-4  months before I went back out there again, and did not cut through them at night anymore after that.

That parallel travel escort event is very commonly reported.    It seems that they want you to hear them and are escorting you out of the woods.    I have been followed a couple of times and never heard anything until right before something was thrown at me and hit my pack.     It was the sound of something running to get close enough accurately throw the rock.     So they may change their tactics on if they want a human to hear or not.   You might be onto something in that killing and leaving something to rot that is on their menu might be some sort of crime in their world.    The danger for us is that some human might blunder into doing one of their capitol crimes and end up missing.   That is part of my reason for not making howls or vocalizations.     I have no idea what anything means that might anger them.

I think the most scary thing to me is wondering , what are they doing so close to towns and cities or in our wooded areas in our towns and populated areas? I guess this whole thing is a mystery to most of us. A few other things to look at which are reported not by everyone but by many people that have encounters is.

1 Extreme and unusual amount of fear, even before the creature is sited.

2 Silence in the woods, insects, animals everything, some even report the wind stopping.

3 Paralleling people in the woods

4 Rock, acorn and stick throwing

5 Talking, besides the samurai chatter, now I understand they sometimes sound like children talking to each other.

6 Imitating people, and animal sounds, like owls, birds and maybe dogs, and who knows what else.

7 Screaming like a witch or woman dying, whooping, growling, and howling.

8???

Well I have always claimed that if BF were as intelligent as humans, long ago they would have marched into town,  demanded a lawyer, and started suing us for trashing their habitat.    Maybe they have realized that to do that they need to be more comfortable in town.

No, SWWASAS, they have realized that in order to do that they need money. Lots and lots of money!

The smart Sasquatches know that messing with humans brings more humans.  The number of Sasquatches that watch in silence is impossible to count.  Same with bears and cougars and bobcats and lynx and etc.  that watch and take no action.

Nope.     They entered the country illegally and so they are eligible for all kinds of public assistance.

In Oregon and Washington,  cougars are showing up in or close to towns too.     Probably for the same reasons that BF are.   Loss of habitat through suburban spread,  prey that feel safer in town than in the woods, and the fact that humans like to settle next to water and BF seem to like to be near running water.      I suspect, but cannot provide any evidence, that BF are territorial just like cougars and wolves.    They stake out a territory and claim it as their own,   perhaps to the extent that they will not allow a competing band of BF in their territory.    That applies territorial pressures that may have a BF, who needs territory to call their own,   to spread into suburban areas.     All pure conjecture but since the analogue is cougars perhaps valid just the same.

Several days ago in local Seattle news, a home security camera recorded a cougar on Mercer Island. Mercer Island is east of Seattle, in Lake Washington. I-90 passes over Mercer Island. The only ways for the cougar to get there are swim a channel or walk over on the bridge. I think that it walked to the high class Island to snack on well fed pets. In my neighborhood, cats are disappearing.  Doesn't matter if you are urban or rural, we are in peril. Cougar on Mercer Island is a huge event.

I don't think you can carry a rifle, either. If you fill out all the right documents, pay the fees, and smile just right, they might let you transport a certain type of rifle or shotgun through.

Keeping lawyers out of sasquatchery should be everybody's first priority. Indeed, that is precisely what I think the government biologists are trying to do.
