Crow doesn't taste all that bad when eaten amongst friends. 😀

Absolutely.  Humble pie is a great dessert to compliment it with.

Contact your friends in person I hope. And Maybe not say anything until everyone's phones are either off with the batteries out or wrapped in a secure fashion like a mylar envelope or tin foil. You and everyone else involved becoming digital ghosts should be a prerequisite to any conversations- as in no phone calls, no emails, no facebook, twitter or any other types of communication. And I hope your friends would understand the importance of such a find and the risk of being discovered being in any way connected to such a find.

Great advice and of course having a niece for an attorney helps also.

By the way Lorraine my niece is reasonably convinced the creature does exist as most of my family members are.

Why? Because he is.....

Or else he WOULDN'T be alive, nor would Lazar. The two of them were a set up for disinformation from the get go. Should be pretty obvious by now because they are both still kicking and still spewing the same BS. Lazar didn't get radiation poisoning and Knapp didn't receive a gag order. Neither one got into trouble for revealing supposedly classified top secret projects out of Area 51 or S4. Time for the public to wake up.... But the truth is, they never will.

Sometimes I think our government is setting us up for something by all of the recent UFO releases .

For what is anyone's guess but I wouldn't be surprised they came out with something relating to UFO's

My self I think everything we talk about here is connected somehow deep down the rabbit hole.

Hmm, the thread has taken a definite turn. I'm low on tinfoil, hope that doesn't become a problem.

If you have a body don't contact law enforcement, that will tangle the body up as authorities take charge of it.  Take it to TV stations (plural) and allow them to examine/film it.  Leave them some kind of sample.  This will get it into the public eye by those whom people will trusts, newscasters/reporters, before the evidence can be suppressed.  I think you would want to get to Dr. Meldrum also.

What choice would there be but to let the authorities cart it off to whereabouts unknown. Do you have a heavy duty dolly to wheel it out of the woods and a place to store it? Presuming it fits in the bed of a pickup. Are you prepared to keep it frozen indefinitely until arrangements can be made to get rid of it? When it's gone, do you really want to store meat and other edibles in a freezer you just used to keep a Bigfoot frozen?

A )A lot of choices.

B )You do not need a dolly.

C )Do not need a pickup.

D )Do not necessarily need to freeze it. DNA can be extracted from bone.

E ) Let’s skip the largest discovery in the history of man kind.....because we may have to go buy a new freezer!? 🤨

So when you go out hunting the creature, you bring along a chainsaw or some device that can extract bone? Even in fantasy that seems very messy. Unless we are talking an unexpected find like a carcass that can be ripped apart more easily?

I was half kidding with a dolly. Would anyone really leave a carcass like that behind in favor of small bits of evidence like a tooth or anything that can be easily carried?

I'm curious, from an evidence gathering standpoint, what is in your saddle bag and have you checked with a paleo anthropologist what the correct procedures would be? Maybe this is documented somewhere already?

BFF Patron

I discussed retrieval with Mendrum one time.      The context was bones and what would be the priority for furnishing him proof of existence.    He suggested if possible to leave it in the ground.    Cover and mark it then call him in.     This has advantages and disadvantages depending on who owns the land where it is found.     If it is federal land it is a problem.     The people that found the T Rex Sue on Federal land ended up gong to prison for two years for violation of federal laws.     Leaving it in place allows strata dating and context as to where the bones were found.      Clean, probably least likely to get you in legal trouble,   but risky in that you could loose the location and the bones to authorities.    If you decide to collect the bones the skull is highest priority.   Next would be hands and arm.     Femur is next  then feet.      Document the bones in the ground and remove everything if you can.     Body parts would be in the same order if you find a body and cannot bring everything out.

Calling in Meldrum might be a problem if the location is not Idaho.   He has standing there being associated with Idaho State University and probably knows who to talk to in dealing with authorities.      Outside of Idaho he has no standing other than academic credentials.     He may know who to call in Washington or Oregon and bring them in.    But my opinion is that calling in someone in a University from the finding State might be a great advantage in dealing with authorities.     Otherwise it is very likely when word of the finding gets out,  the bones or body will be taken away from some lay person finder, who in the opinion of the state or federal authorities has no right to possess the bones or body.    In the best of cases, the academics will give you finders credit.    In the worst of cases, you will end up in prison for violation of antiquities or NA object or body possession.

I put out feelers and have found a Washington University PHD level biologist who might be a good person if I can get him to believe what I have found.    I was able to establish email contact and actually have a conversation with him.   He would be my starting point for a contact in my State of Washington.  It might take a photograph of a bone to interest an academic.

Anyway my point is that if you are in the hunt for body or bones,   you best grease the skids and have contacts in mind to call should you be successful.     Finding something first without a contact could be a race with a rotting body.    Smedja comes to mind when I think about these issues.

As a hunter? I could cut both yer legs off at the knee in under a minute with 6 inch hunting knife. Where your bones connect at the knee joint? Is simply skin and tendons and cartilage. If you know where to cut avoiding bone or big muscle? It’s easy. With a small tool.

Have you have ever experienced a wind storm while camping and had to drive out? Bouncing on dead fall hoping it breaks and trying to drag whole trees off the road? You will never forget a chainsaw ever again. At the very least a sharp axe.

I pack mules. I bring a bull elk out on two big mules and a black bear out with one. But Denisovans where identified with a pinkie bone.

Whats in my saddlebags? Bullets, a hookpick, some jerky and a map.

I've used a chainsaw dedicated to chopping up moose. It has vegetable oil in the bar oiler reservoir. We used it when we were in interior moose hunts where we expected to kill several moose.

But when I hunt caribou alone, I just use a knife and small bone saw...........the entire saw being about 10" long. I can bag a 450 lb. caribou bull alone in under 2 hours with just a knife and bone saw. I've done it countless times.

Once my buddy shot a coastal sow brown bear. Just before he shot her, there were 11 different bears within eyesight. After shooting her, we were repeatedly bluff charged by another bear. Me and another guy were firing warning shots, yelling, and otherwise trying to keep him off while my buddy and the fourth man skinned her.........and she died in a large creek. They got her skinned in record time.......with us yelling at them to hurry up the whole while.

As I type this there are two bald eagles in my yard raising Cain. They're upset about something.

The problem with species identification is a reliable sample. So if you have an opportunity to prove BF, do you take the body or saw off a piece of it? Just because prehistoric dna was discovered on one sample does not mean it will be on another sample. The way samples are collected is important. How many hunters and researchers carry dna kits? Just by touching a sample you contaminate it.

The field of specialists looking at your sample will scrutinize every part of it. So it has to be free of contaminants and it has to have scientific markers. Otherwise, nobody cares. And even if it does get tested somewhere, the question of who made the discovery, under what conditions, what else was in the area, etc is all looked at. It's a forensic scene. I don't think a body part would be conclusive. Need an entire body, a way to get it out of the woods, and a freezer to stash it.
