Thanks for the link Franco.  This is also on a number of main media sites, interesting though that FOX ran it with Bigfoot right in the title!

Here are some lines from the article that date Gigantopithecus blacki. DNA testing does not work with 1.9 million year old ape skeleton bones. The scientist used a method of protein analysis in tooth enamel that is 1.9 million years old.

"The legendary Bigfoot has long been thought of as the "missing link" between apes and humans. In a stunning discovery, scientists have unearthed new evidence of the so-called "original Bigfoot," a 10-foot tall ape that lived nearly 2 million years ago."

"Known as Gigantopithecus blacki, researchers discovered that the giant primate lived in southeastern China approximately 1.9 million years ago. They also found that the animal was related to the modern-day orangutan after they conducted groundbreaking, new analysis of proteins in tooth enamel."

In addition, a 12 million year old partial human like skeleton was just found in Germany.  Four partial skeletons were dug from the muddy soil and the bones had likenesses to human bones. The skeletons are shorter than typical humans measuring three feet four inches. This article was published in the Eugene Register Guard newspaper on November 9th of 2019.

To claim to use 2 million year old dna to form taxonomic theories out of one side of ones mouth, then condemn the dna found from stool and hair samples that were perhaps days or weeks old in a nest in southeast Alaska as "contaminated" from the other side of ones mouth  is science fiction.

I believe the point of the story is that Oranges might be the closest relative to BF..... I agree Denying recent stool samples/DNA test are Silly. These types of DNA test on fossils tend to dig deeper that the quick scan they do on the recent Samples. That has been argument for a very long time.

I found it interesting that at least they are talking about the Possibility of a BF creature.

It isnt uncommon for us to fine what we thought were extinct animals... Found live and Kicking. The fact that the main science is will to compare is a **** break through in my eyes.

They have gimmicky news all the time. Looks like they play many angles in the type of news they cover for their readership. Any mention of Bigfoot on that site is useless since there is no coherent analysis.  Links between the orangutan and giganto is old news.
