Does anyone know where to find them on the internet or does anyone have pdf copies of any they could pass on my way. OregonMan Posted August 9, 2023 Share Posted August 9, 2023 When I was in JR High, around 1975-1977 or so, a friend of mine got these Bigfoot newsletters mailed to him from his uncle who lived in Oregon (I lived in New England at the time). They were typed in a typewriter font, and they came in different colors, typically a pale yellow as I recall. They were full of encounter stories, much like the modern BFRO reports. I tracked down my friend and he remembers them but lost them long ago. Neither of us can remember what the title was. Some people on Facebook suggested it was Peter Bryne's "Bigfoot News"; but that's as far as I've gotten tracking these down. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Could possibly be the Track Record (Ray Crowe) .. archive is available to purchase from NABS. It was a couple or three issues of the Bigfoot Bulletin which my great grandfather had on his porch that I read cover to cover that piqued my initial interest and laid the groundwork for understanding what I later saw. Somewhat later, maybe 10 years ago, I was part of a group which included a guy who had been the youngest member of Haas' "Bay Area Group". It has been an interesting path and I've met some interesting folks along it. Ray ran it on donations and subscriptions, and out of his book store in Portland. He had a lot of physical issues towards the end of his life if I remember correctly, but he still kept going as best he could. Definitely one of the pioneers of the topic.
