  2. Carter Buschardt, a seasoned Bigfoot researcher from Missouri with over a decade of experience, shares detailed insights into Sasquatch habituations, intelligence, and the controversial aspects of their existence, drawing from personal encounters, expeditions, and eyewitness accounts. This episode also dives into the phenomena of infrasound experiences and mental telepathy during Sasquatch encounters. Both discussions emphasize the complexity of Sasquatch existence, touching on elements of paranormality and quantum physics, and encourage sharing personal encounters with respect for privacy. The episode blends these intriguing narratives to highlight the mutual respect between humans and Sasquatches and opens the door to the mysterious relationships some families have with these beings, all while imbuing a sense of respect for the unexplainable aspects of our world. Pictures posted on the internet used for discussion and analysis are fair game. If you were to print them in a tshirt to sell... that's different.
  6. I'll start be saying I don't have any good pics of what I'm about to describe, but I can get some if there is interest as this tree isn't far from my home. I also apologize if this isn't thread worthy but I have wanted to hear some opinions on this for a while. Every time I pass it, I stop and stare and try to logic out what I'm seeing. I spend a lot of time outdoors but have only started paying more than cursory attention to tracks and sounds and anything out of the ordinary fairly recently(previously too busy fishing). Anyway, there is a large tree I have noticed that looks very strange. It is a tall old spruce at the bottom of a small creek valley and it has a lot of branches that have been bent/snapped so they point straight down, but are not broken off. Often there will be multiple affected branches at the same height. This repeats at different levels, from a few feet off the ground to 30 or more feet up, and also appear to have happened at different times. There are too many, pointing in too many different directions, and at too many levels for easy explanations like heavy snow load given all the unaffected foliage. Any thoughts? TIA

Opinions on Sasquatches and Game cams

There have been mentions of crows in this thread, how they can learn to identify guns, etc. I have been feeding and interacting with my local crows for a few years and they definitely know when someone is trying to be sneaky vs just moving slowly. I have no doubt other creatures can tell as well. I also know that there are always eyes on us when out in the bush. As to avoiding cameras and messing with other items, it could be as simple as their reported dislike of electrical energy. Humans may leave lots of stuff in the woods, but very little of it is electrical.
  8. There's really not that many people dedicating time to researching Bigfoot. I think there are very few Bigfoot in existence and a small amount of people actively searching. Yet, people still report sightings and encounters somewhat often. Even people that say they've spent their whole life hunting or hiking are only in the woods for a portion of a day. And they only visit portions of land to do a specific activity. I believe sightings mostly happen when a Bigfoot wants to be seen or is overly interested in investigating the humans and/or trying to threaten them. Turning the corner on a road and seeing one crossing has to be like hitting the lottery. It's hard to have a lot of progress when the majority of people don't care/believe and the animal is extremely rare and only existing in extremely remote areas.

    is Bigfoot YOUR Bigfoot?

I can't say Bigfoot is MY Bigfoot. I can't say they belong to anyone, though I have throughout my life of interest in Bigfoot seen "The Four Horsemen" all seem to lay claim to, and be jealous of, any evidence brought forth by the others. Dahinden wouldn't share files or info, and seemed to scoff at Krantz, and John Greene hated Dahinden according to Steenburgen....on and on and so it went. Personally, I can't poo poo anyone else's thoughts on the subject. After my face to face encounter in November, 1993, I went from being convinced by evidence that they were real and flesh and blood biological hominem, to knowing they were real. It took me a long time to tell anyone other than my maternal grandfather what had happened because I thought people, especially the police community of which I was a member would ride me mercilessly. But knowing didn't make me take possession of the one I saw, or have the temerity to claim I knew anything more about the creatures than I did before I saw one....I only knew that they were real. Nothing more about lifestyle, culture, habits, etc. Now, regardless of who it is that brings in incontrovertible proof to the public, and the scientific community, I will be almost sad for them because neither they nor the remaining Bigfoot in the area where it was discovered will know another moments peace for a long time.
  10. I think, like any animal, they notice when their areas have been tampered with by humans. If they've survived as long as they have in relative hiding, they must be smart enough to detect and avoid things like game cams. I also think most people are putting cams in areas where the Sasquatch probably aren't frequenting often. Even if a place is a "hot spot" or somewhere someone has had activity before, the Sasquatch are more than likely not returning or coming around VERY seldomly. It's like finding 1/10 of a needle in a haystack.

True but I will take my chances. Those images from the BFRO have been all over the internet. I have copied copies of copies and posted here without the owner messaging me with infringement warnings or cease and desist notices. If he does I would certainly conform to his demands.

Hey there - long time believer. Started loving the topic because my dad used to read me reports from BFRO as a kid. I’m in North Carolina and I’d love to do my own research in Uwharrie one day. I’m far from an outdoorsman but it would be simply amazing to have any sort of experience or sighting.

Just because you say it is a bear doesn't make it so.

See? You cannot win an argument with logic and reason. You simply attack my character.🤷‍♂️ What must truly be tiresome for YOU? Is participating on a forum in which you think the subject and the people discussing it are RIDICULOUS. Now THAT doesn’t really make any sense does it?!! Take care.

Never mind. You are Never wrong. Just because you don't know a bear from a chimp or think large man apes are responsible for a 1959 tragedy. Not to mention the many hoaxed pics, videos and fake footprints that you that you think are real man apes. Must be tiresome.

  23. Frequency following response. Interesting.
  24. I do and I have yet to detect any abnormal levels of infrasound in any area that supposedly has Bigfoot activity. Given that low frequency sound waves would travel a great distance and easily penetrate solid barriers, you would think that I would pick up something that isn’t easily explained if it was being used by these creatures. Absence of evidence and all that, but I still do not think that infrasound is causing the zapping that people report. If it is, something is using infrasound in a manner that we see nowhere else in nature or even industrial processes.

I have looked. The pictures are not similar at all. And you contradict yourself repeatedly. Why would a Bear in the early stages of mange be skinny? You’re trying to account for its limb and body proportions even though it has all its fur-hair. You can’t see a tail, but it’s still a Bear…. Even though in the cub bear photo it’s very easy to see Bear attributes. Here is a skinny mangey bear quartering away. Does it resemble a chimp? I can plainly see a tail, ears and a snout. It looks nothing like the Jacobs creature. And that’s letting the hair condition slide.
  26. Patterson-Gimlin

    The Jacobs Photos

Neither have you. Just because you say it,doesn't make it so. None of your claims do. Limbs, shoulders and impossible declaration. All wishful thinking. Plenty of similar photos. Look for yourself if you care. Skinny bear, early mange stage with bear feet, paws and terrible quality makes it difficult to see. Anyway, I wasted enough time debating a Skinny bear that deserves no more attention than the dude who claims to be the mime in the Patterson film.

Also? Why a PHANTOM chimp? We have dna proof of chimp dna in a national forest back east. A couple of hundred miles away. Why is there chimp DNA in a national forest? I don’t live back east. But it would seem they have a invasive species problem.

The awkward position makes it a Bear?🤔 What about the feet makes it a Bear? Do you see claws? Legs? Fur? You’re not explaining anything specific that would make it a Bear….. You keep attacking me instead of my argument. My explanations have been concise as to why it’s not a Bear. 1) It’s limb and body proportions most fit a Chimp. Not a Bear. 2) It has shoulders like a great ape. Bears don’t have pronounced shoulders. 3) It’s awkward position in the second photo is impossible for a Bear to do. And I have challenged everyone here to produce a image of a Bear doing so. Grub finger has posted lots of photos to support this argument. 4) The argument that it’s a Bear with mange doesn’t hold water. It obviously has its fur-hair. Good for them. I asked YOU. You do not see a tail and yet you’re still confident it’s a Bear. And yet you cannot bring forward a convincing argument as to why you come to that conclusion.
  29. Patterson-Gimlin

    The Jacobs Photos

I answered. Awkward position, feet, legs. Fur, other similar photos. Your explanations are not correct because all the explaining will not turn a bear into a chimp. Some people say that they see a tail. Perhaps they do.
