It looks like a rock that's been weathered over many years and just happens to look like a skull.

Hominid fossil skulls don't just happen to show up whole sitting around.

They are much rarer than diamonds and occur in deposits, almost always in fragments.

Usually very small fragments that take weeks to extract from a layer of rock and many weeks or months to fit together.There are likely no fossil deposits near Ogden that would contain fossils from the correct geologic era.
