  2. I thought I would mention I wasn't the one who brought up UFO's Back to lying: There is no doubt people and organizations lie for a whole variety of reasons. You mention Whistleblowers. Since Whistleblower are also people, sometimes Whistleblowers are liars as well. They are not immune to lying. Bigfoot is the issue. Lying about Bigfoot would assume the person/ organization doing the lying is 1) aware of some truth about bigfoot and 2) actively chooses to misrepresent the truth. Could be. Just because I don't believe that doesn't mean I close the door to the possibly. If Bigfoot IS being kept quiet by the government, I'm betting it is just a matter of time before the cell phone blows the cover of any cover-up. Things happen too fast in real time now. Unlike the old days no one has to get the camera. They always have a camera, video, social media, and telephone with them at all times. Imagine some scenario where bigfoot is hit by someone's truck. It's everywhere on social media before the sheriff arrives.

  4. Thanks for the accurate comment Norseman and MIB. Read below some facts about America's declining timber industry and what Trump is doing to get rid of many timber production regulations by signing executive order 14225. If bigfoot is ever labeled as an endangered species will it shut down logging. Bigfoot probably likes logging because bigfoot eats deer feeding in clear cuts where brush and berries flourish in sunlight. "Mar 15, 2025 · The U.S. imports roughly 25% to 30% of the lumber it consumes each year. Up to 90% comes from Canada." google "We rely on lumber from Canada because the U.S. cannot supply enough softwood to meet its own demand, and Canada is one of the largest softwood producers in the world. While it might be possible to switch to importing more lumber from other countries, none has Canada’s large production capacity." google Is the timber industry over regulated? Executive Order 14225—Immediate Expansion of American Timber Production | The American Presidency Project "Sec. 3. Streamlined Permitting. All relevant agencies shall eliminate, to the maximum extent permissible by law, all undue delays within their respective permitting processes related to timber production. Additionally, all relevant agencies shall take all necessary and appropriate steps consistent with applicable law to suspend, revise, or rescind all existing regulations, orders, guidance documents, policies, settlements, consent orders, and other agency actions that impose an undue burden on timber production." executive order Does this mean the endangered species act will be watered down?

  6. People should heed this .. you speak the truth. The mills here that relied on timber harvest from USFS lands are gone. We had over 20 in the Rogue Valley that were the backbone of the local economy (along with orchards). None of those remain. The only mills I still see open rely on harvest from private timberlands and a small bit of BLM which is part of the old O&C Railroad land thus managed as private. Those mills are not here, they're on the other side of the Cascades in Klamath County. SW Oregon has taken an economic beating. MIB

  9. ^^^ Various levels of concern for various forms of life: No concern Hardly any concern Concern and sympathy High level of concern and sympathy Very high level of concern. "Hey that better be safe and that better not hurt!" Maybe the one thing that might save Bigfoot from extinction is the fact it looks like us and not a snake.
  10. Published in the Hazleton (PA) Sentinel on November 23, 1883. Hard one to read regardless of whether this was a Bigfoot or a human.
  11. I thought of it in the same way for decades, even though the Aboriginal American description of sasquatches has always been that of being "people" of a different race. I turned when considering the repeated phenomenon of DNA samples coming back "human", and the Sierra Sounds being a "language". It also fits the current theories of multi-human species of the relatively recent past with Neanderthals, Denisovans, and Hobbits. It all fits. And when I turned from manlike-ape to apelike-man, there was no turning back.

So, boring warning. Went to a woo location so no need bothering this forum with that. However great riparian area with at least one class a sighting. A cyclone blew up leading to cloud walls forming over highlands with dangerous winds for prolonged period and occasional explosive lightning. This area is known for this although it was leaving my area of interest. There seems to be an immense awareness even among th locals that there is something different up here. A lone sasquatch of immense powers (which is the woo part). Led to a prolonged sighting at close range elsewhere in the same season. He has been up there likely hundreds of years or, just that a lone male sas. is always living up there. Been up several times as I regained interest, East coast. Found clear evidence of something, this guy like to hide near a main artery and people watch. Somewhat degraded from way back when where I had an interaction. On a cycle trail with bluffs to hide under, over. I found 4-5 wide paths stamped into hiding locations near the trail (also lot of illegals patrols in the area, constantly) stamped into mud and dead ending about 25 to 35+ ft into rich riperian repasts. Also, a sleeping pad about 10X10 ft square, may have been machine cleared but smooth and not one twig, level right next to trail. Perfect for a large hominid to rest in unobserved but near traffic. Like to be out at night in the fields and woods under a full moon. Spring is probably the best time or late winter. Near another area as well even another in Whitehall NY, those are different and seem to be family subgroups seasonal traveling betwee ranges, upland and low land remote areas well protected.
  13. I'll provide the provenance of this clipping if I run across it again. It is included in Bigfoot in Pennsylvania by Timothy Renner.
  14. I confess I have NEVER considered Bigfoot any kind of "Human". I never thought of Bigfoot as a ape-like MAN. I have always thought of Bigfoot as a man-like APE. Because of this, I have never really considered any ramifications of bigfoot being essentially human. If I gave it some deeper thought, I honestly don't know what I would believe about how it would affect government, society, laws, and so on. It could very well change my mind. Coming from the Bigfoot-is-an-animal mindset, it makes sense how I- and anyone who sees Bigfoot the same way- could dismiss any high level of concern government and Bigfoot. Anyone with my bias is going to conclude the same thing. I never really considered another possibility.
  15. Published in Raftsman's Journal, Clearfield (PA) on September 27, 1865. This typical old story makes it unclear whether a wild man was actually discovered (and then used as political fodder) or whether the "wild man" was made up to be used as political fodder. Nice artwork for the masthead, though.
  16. Published in the National Wildlife Magazine, Vol. 6, No. 3 (April May, 1968) article written by Dick Kirkpatrick, Executive Editor. While the text of this article can be found on several sites, the attached document came straight from the vaults of the National Wildlife Foundation. Much to my surprise, they had this back copy and were very generous in having someone scan it. Forum Member Bill (Munns) passed on a newspaper article from 1970 found by his fellow researcher, SquatchD. I've included that clipping from the Wilmington (DE) Morning News here rather than give it a separate entry because it it primarily serves to bolster this article rather than shed direct light on the P-G film. 19. It’s my experience that most mills in the USA have shut down. Most lumber comes from Canada right now. My home county is very lucky with four mills. But most are lucky to have one mill. I drove through Whitefish Montana recently. It’s all looking like Aspen Colorado now. Posh. Pricey. No longer logger based. https://www.mtpr.org/2024-04-18/lumber-mill-closure-leaves-seeley-lake-wrestling-with-a-timberless-future The reason is in a large part because areas that own private forests can sustain themselves. Those that rely on federal timber sales? Are gone. The only exception I know of is down by Headquarters Idaho. That Forest seems to be pro logging to this day. Why? I dunno. But I agree with you that if Bigfoot hunts Deer? Deer like logging cuts and burns. They like tender browse.
  20. So why is the Forest Service or the Bureau of Land Management so tight lipped or openly jokes about the bigfoot issue? The bigfoot/alien issue is for another thread. For now, bigfoot is enough to discuss Let's say that you are in charge of our national forest and your job is to make sure that the nation gets enough forest trees so builders can build homes economically. Along comes news of the endangered species called the Spotted Owl that causes wildlife biologist to call for forest areas to be spared from logging so the populations of these owls can remain intact. As this is happening government wildlife biologist report to their superiors with bigfoot video films and footprint casts. This bigfoot evidence is coming from all areas of the national forest and not just small pockets of forest as with the case of spotted owls. The Forest Service faces logging shut downs or is forced to make up a mythical wildlife fairy tale about bigfoot. "The habitat to one of Americas greatest legends may be at risk," stated by Thaddeus Guttenberg, U. S. Forest Service, Mythical Wildlife Division. The term bigfoot is tossed into the myth category. https://www.usda.gov/about-usda/news/blog/loss-space-threatening-north-american-sasquatch My opinion is logging can continue with the sustained yield forestry practices where trees are constantly planted so there is a constant supply of lumber. How does this help bigfoot? When trees are planted there is enough new vegetation growing in the sunny logged areas that supplies deer with food. Bigfoot in return has fresh deer and huckleberries to feed on during all parts of the year.

  22. Tonight’s guests, Beth Kolasinski and Nolan Shelby, are mother and son. In late February, of 2018, the two of them were heading home from Nolan’s last high school basketball game, in Flint, Michigan. They live in Howell, Michigan, so they had a fairly long drive to get home. Beth doesn’t like driving on highways, so she prefers to take back roads, instead of driving on highways, so she took back roads home from the basketball game that night. When they were about 25 miles from home, they were in a desolate area where there was nothing but a lot of open fields. It was raining that night, so their view of the countryside wasn’t the best. What they did get a view of that night, however, was something they never expected to see. We hope you’ll tune into tonight’s show, so you can listen to them recount their sighting. It’s a night they’ll never forget. If you’ve had a Sasquatch sighting and would like to be a guest on the show, please go to BigfootEyewitness.com and let me know. I’d love to hear from you. Missing 411

^^^ Answered on p.25, 15 pages ago. "A Green Beret presence for a missing child is unprecedented." This is why I like primary sources – the Wikipedia article on the Dennis Martin disappearance has several links to contemporaneous newspaper articles on this case and the Case Study at fn 17 talks about the Green Berets as well. The SF Soldiers were already in the area for training. Could have been a Q course class (don’t know where they did those in the 60s) or it could have been a Group just training in the deep woods, but it does not appear that they were sent there to look for DM. They were there, and in an on-the-spot decision, decided to train by searching from what I can see in those reports. Unless there was a government coverup to hide why they were .... oh wait, wrong thread!!

    The end of Beachfoot
