Why is the federal government mum on Bigfoot.

Can you think of an honest reason for Sasquatch? -

That is an excellent point. I have often wondered if there a record of increased activity evacuating from such awful circumstances. Thanks for sharing. -

It was a matter of time. I must say the back and forth dialog with members or character actors,if you prefer with the star story teller was amusing. Until it wasn't. So we can now confidently say this forum is not deceased. Thank you all who played your part quite well. Thank you Norse for knowing the perfect time to end the show. -
Why is the federal government mum on Bigfoot.
Huntster replied to georgerm's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
That's a good argument, but there are many things that government doesn't publish. They often offer pretty good reasons for keeping secrets. -

Why is the federal government mum on Bigfoot.
norseman replied to georgerm's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
Because the government works for me supposedly. I pay my taxes. I pay my licenses and my discovery pass and my park entrance fees. And the government isn’t going to warn me that a 800 lbs primate is walking around out there? Or I see one and report to a ranger or a pine cone cop and I get laughed at? Or they ask me if I have had my head checked? Absolutely none of this is OK. -

norseman replied to georgerm's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
If you’re in the pro kill camp? You better have a contingency plan. The powers that be typically go hard on whistleblowers historically. But people have a RIGHT to know what’s out there. -

Let me ask you this: If this report is true, has extraterrestrial life been "discovered"? -

Huntster replied to georgerm's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
Maybe. If they're really lucky, or really smart, or both, they might be able to get the truth out before the powers opposed to discovery can act. -

georgerm, request that the mods do an IP check to determine his location. Mate, a 6-pack of Aussie's going after a Yowie will require a large barbie. -
Pennsylvania 1920 - The Gorilla Heads to Snyder County (Part 3)
Trogluddite posted a topic in More Historical Newspaper Archives
In the end, skeptics believed that Samuel Bolig made up the entire story. An article in the Mount Carmel (PA) Item, published on December 30, 1920, declared that the Snyder County gorilla "was dead." -
Les Stroud has posted on his Kickstarter page for supporters of his new Bigfoot show, the following. "Hearts have been broken throughout the Sasquatch community with the loss of our dear friend Jeff Meldrum. I have the unfortunate, honour of having conducted the last ever interview with him and it was by chance, a compelling long form discussion on all things Sasquatch and so I will remain honoured to include it in our film. He went places he rarely goes with the direction of the chat. You will also get it from me in its full version as a separate interview. Jeff was a legend and a gentleman and a very generous and giving individual. He was a titan in the research world of relic hominids." So there's hope to see the man one more time in this pending feature. Les is fortunate for that opportunity and sounds like he's grateful and wants to do it justice.

Hello " I found him" and I noticed you just joined our forum. Why have you copied my picture that is on the net somewhere and pasted it on your Bigfoot Forum page? Strange behavior so are you going to try and scam us with your phony story? Post your real picture, story and come clean. -

It’s a possibility. Unless there has been a change of heart recently. But not willing to come clean themselves. Or some alphabet agency is gonna come to your house and seize whatever it is you have and make up some back story discrediting you. -

It might be helpful to go with her, at least as long as the shrink thinks it might be helpful. We don't have enough mental health resources on this planet. -

No I did. And it IS a Patty 3d skeleton! The skull looks very similar to a Gorilla. Just as the PGF shows it does. And Munns work? Supports Meldrum’s work.👍 You are the one that introduced G. Blacki into this debate. Not me. -

Pennsylvania 1920 - The Gorilla Heads to Snyder County (Part 2)
Trogluddite posted a topic in More Historical Newspaper Archives
To say that hysteria reigned over the reports of a gorilla attack is an understatement. Samuel Bolig's injuries grew worse with every article, as seen in this report from the Wilkes-Barre (PA) Times Leader on December 14, 1920. A week later, the entire region was in fear, as reported in the Pittsburgh (PA) press on December 21, 1920. -
