  2. In terms of the impact of the arrival of europeans, you can't diminish the probable damage done by the foreign antigens, which may very well have killed off the the vast majority of sasquatch, at least those within close enough proximity to the natives as they became afflicted. The Europeans practice of laying blankets infected with yellow fever and the like across trails could have transmitted these diseases to the Bigfoot just as they did to the native americans. It may have taken longer to pass between them due to their more widespread distribution. There's estimates of 90% mortality rates amongst natives (even higher in south america) if this applied to the sasquatch, perhaps their rebound was slow, then as whites killed off the majority of upper level predators, and deer populations began expanding, eventually to the point of overabundance, then the sasquatch had plenty of prey, little predator competition, and more empty land to move into, reclaiming old turf, thus expanding their numbers once again.

    Need Help In Central Texas.........

I hear you, Tex. Many members of our Forums want to leave their existence quiet for the reasons you mention—those restrictions, including conflict with logging interests, fed gov parks and endangered species. But many other of us are excited by the prospect of giving evidence that could confirm proof of Sasquatch’s existence to the world at large. It’s good for each person to consider where they stand on it. Stay happy to live where you do!
  5. A mother hiking with her two children near St. Louis spots a face watching them from the brush. Then the figure stands up. On this episode of Bigfoot Society, Lori recounts an encounter on Missouri’s Howell Island that left her focused on one thing: getting her children back to the truck. What she noticed about the figure’s face makes her account especially unsettling. More witnesses share unexplained experiences across the country: an Oregon firefighter-paramedic hears screams during a nighttime emergency call, a Georgia fisherman watches a massive figure cross the Chattahoochee River in roughly three steps, and two trail cameras disappear from a baited site while the remaining camera is found turned around. In Texas, hunters following a blood trail discover a strange footprint and hear a nearby farmer’s story about the field he stopped entering. Need Help In Central Texas.........

Hey Wolfjewel....I have found lots of these over the years but no lab, these real creatures are better off as cryptids IMO, acknowledgement will only take some of the fun away, plus the restrictions that follow, long live the Hairyman!

    Africa’s Hobbit

Except you’re forgetting the Chimpanzee that was dissected in London in 1699 by Edward Tyson. I said extant species right? Well then they do not need to lean on fossils. Regardless? Anthropologists will go look where the most fossils are. If you’re looking for a cryptid ground sloth? Science is gonna go look where the fossils were found. Thats the logic. Africa is the cradle of early hominids. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  12. This video is totally amazing. It's about an old frail man from Washington state who had a business where he went into the deep woods and layed out logging operations. He flagged where the timber would be cut and the future roads to be built. While doing his job and being a nature lover, he became aware of a sasquatch here and there. He habituated them and over the years he learned how they lived and actually witnessed a funeral. They buried the deceased Sasquatch and disguised the grave with bark, rocks, and transplanted trees. To see his detailed interview go to: A Flash of Beauty: Tom Cantrall

    Ultralight canoe and a thermal

For a long time, my best places to go involved a secluded pond. Wood knocks, audible movement around the pond, and red eyeshine. They work for me because people are less likely to be there especially when it is not easy to get to. I've decided to get an ultralight canoe, or more properly called a packboat. Short and light enough to be portaged. Get out on the water in the dark and silently paddle then stop, drift, and listen. Use the thermal to scan the shoreline. It enables you to get to spots on the pond quickly that would not be possible if trekked by foot. Moreover, the flashlight and noise while walking would immediately give away your position. I'll order in the next month or so but won't get it until next year. Looking forward to it.

    Africa’s Hobbit

Well, you solved my question as to why no one has come up with sasquatch fossils. That's amazing about the chimpanzee fossils which were only teeth.

    Africa’s Hobbit

The first fossil of a chimpanzee wasn't discovered until 2005 in the Rift Valley of Africa by Nina Jabloski and Sally McBrearty. This discovery only unearthed three teeth in spite of billions of chimpanzees having lived in Africa. If we all agree there are fewer sasquatches than chimpanzees, then the odds of finding sasquatch fossilized remains are likely one in many trillion. Better time spent doing other things, mathematically speaking.

    Africa’s Hobbit

I'm glad the numbers of western lowland gorillas is way up past 100,000. There is supposed to be a 4' human like primate running around in eastern Africa according to the video Norm posted. They might be classified in the Homo genus! Previous estimates, dating to the 1980s, put the number of western lowland gorillas at less than 100,000. But the animal's numbers were believed to have fallen by at least 50 percent since then due to hunting and disease, researchers said. The newly discovered gorilla population now puts their estimated numbers at between 175,000 to 225,000.

    Africa’s Hobbit

I cite central sub-Sahara Africa for "finding" hominins because Science recently "found" 125,000 gorillas there. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/thousands-of-rare-gorillas-found-in-congo/ Few wander into the Congo basin, and if you do, you're lucky to come out alive.
