  2. Thomas writes "Hey wes longtime listener I live in cle elum wa I had a sighting in 1976 when I was 9 so if interested get ahold of me 😁.” Spoke to the witness and he has agreed to come on the show. He said “My older sister wanted to go have a smoke and she was not allowed to smoke. We hiked through the forest when I came upon this creature and it was squatted down. I heard the growl before I saw it. I am about 8 feet away and the creature went from a crouched position to standing up and it seemed like she went up and up and up. It had a lot of human features but the mouth went from ear to ear. I could not believe how big the mouth was. I staring at it and it is staring at me and my sister grabs me and we take off running. My aunt later told me that “it” lives in her barn, she saw it many times.” We will also be speaking to Gil and Gil writes "In 1987 when I was fifteen years old and on my way home one late night or early morning on my moped and one stepped into the road right in front of me and stopped directly in front of me and I almost hit him. I was so close to him I could have touched him. From the first to the last, my latest sighting I saw a family , being a large male and female who was just a foot shorter than the male, and she was carrying a little one, it was less than a mile from my home , they had glowing red eyes and the little one had glowing white eyes. they crossed the road in front of me and then stopped on the side of the road." Snow Footprnts Solved?

There is still a thin film of water but the tread in boots are far deeper than dermal ridges. The film of water is not in great enough depth to hide that depth. . You’re talking micrometers vs millimeters. Huge difference.

    Snow Footprnts Solved?

    Well, my memory could be wrong and the photos of Nepalese / African / South American barefoot soles don't give body heat measurements. No matter since I'm going back into the hills after recovering from my fall {11 days hospital, +28 in rehab +more home}. Unfortunately Cliff is there in spirit { D/7/21 } and can't share his wisdom with me, nor can Kiley; both a great loss. I'll try to find a good track to cast or photo and forward to the forum this year. I've got at least three separate physical dermal ridge examples in my closet files. Good luck up the hill ! Joe {edit was a try to clean up my grammar, I refuse to use AI, so far.......}

    Snow Footprnts Solved?

A bare foot has blood flow and body heat radiating from it. A boot sole has no blood flow or heat radiating from it and the sole shields the body heat from the snow. That would be the difference. So, the pressure combined with the heat could make a difference.

    Snow Footprnts Solved?

If pressure melts a small amount of water, why do boots leave fine tracks in mud and snow? Just asking. Pictures of the always bare feet of Nepal people, and other people too poor for shoes show great callouses or pads. Do they not leave dermal ridge patterns in some instances? Actually, this point isn't worth many words. Probably more than enough said after you reply, which I assume you will. : )

  10. If a Chimp found itself in a colder climate? Maybe? Or something else built it and the runaway Chimp simply utilized it somehow? Or the DNA lab accidentally put a unknown primate dna signature into the Chimp category? I have seen Oliver walk. He was creepy. I still say the Jacobs creature is a Chimp and not a Bear. I was a houndsman once and was on a houndsman forum and one guy swore up and down that him and his hounds encountered an African Lion on a hunt back east. It ran off and he gathered up his hounds and left. White as a ghost. The eastern woods I think have some strange things running around back there. A long history of zoos and plenty of thick woods to hide in. Lastly? I just thought of this? Maybe some of these stick structures are indeed shelters but the leaves or needles used as the final layer have decayed or blown away and all that remains is the rib supports? They would take a lot longer to rot away. Years. Just a thought.
  11. What happens when a man raised in the heart of Yurok country finally hears the creature he’s been told about since childhood — and it stops him cold in his tracks? In this gripping episode, we talk to Rich, a licensed clinical therapist and Yurok tribal member, who shares two unforgettable encounters with Bigfoot along the Klamath River in Northern California. You’ll hear how his great-grandmother passed down stories of the “wild people,” why his cultural upbringing made Bigfoot a given — not a question — and how one foggy night, that belief became terrifyingly real. With chilling vocalizations echoing across the river and an overwhelming sense of primal fear, Rich's story is raw, spiritual, and utterly unforgettable. We also explore sacred Yurok land, the meaning of “ridge runners,” and how the line between myth and reality isn’t always where you think. This one will stay with you. 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? Snow Footprnts Solved?

While I won’t say the temperature doesn’t matter, it does, but it doesn’t matter in this context. The mere pressure is enough to create a small film of water.
  13. Chimps don't build structures do they? The reason I brought it up are that the structures by any stretch of the imagination do not provide shelter. And would make more sense as a grave monument. Chimp DNA huh? You're right, more questions. Now I'm wondering about a branch of Chimp species evolving much larger than known types. Have you ever seen the videos of Oliver the Chimp that walked upright?

    Snow Footprnts Solved?

Those weren't dermal ridges that you saw. It's hard enough for dermal ridges to be imprinted on dirt and mud, so not all of the casts that are claimed to have them are actual dermal ridges. Plaster casts produces a lot of artifacts during the curing process. Therefore, careful examination of the casts is required for confirmation. But, when it comes to snow footprints, the chance of it having dermal ridges are 0% because it violates the laws of physics. Snow isn't fine enough to be able to pick up the ridges. But what makes it impossible is that the thin layer of the surface of the snow melts immediately on contact with the bottom of the foot. Sorry I missed your reply in January 2025. Have been thinking of it for some time after discovery last month, and going through my "memory banks." Maybe I was wrong in my assessment and memory, but the track line was definite and clear with unmistakable foot prints. Maybe you are right, but you also make the assumption that a Bigfoot imprint is made by an animal with an internal body temperature similar to a human. While it is not similar, a horse hoof print leaves a "dermal ridge imprint." Second, you are making the assumption that all snow is similar. This is certainly not the forum to argue laws of physics, although in the past, I have held my own in that regard. Third, I have cast, and taken photographs of "dermal ridges" on at least 2 sets of dermal ridges not associated with this question. They have been verified by fingerprint experts, and physical evidence is upstairs, stored. While you might be right, I will say it is very difficult to record dermal ridges in the wild. Thank you for your kind reply. I hope you luck in finding good imprints and taking photographs of them this summer. Joe here

  18. the fact that you think this is a place to "call people out" shows how perverse your intentions are. shameful that you haven't been banned yet, but I have a feeling its coming.
  19. And other members prompt her to communicate with "the forest people" for them.
  20. For some strange reason it just happens to people . A lot of times it's mostly just geographical . When you don't live in a part of the country where they are you search the areas you have available . Thing is though once you convince yourself you have found bigfoot evidence Nothing and I mean Nothing will change your mind even though bigfoot are not there . If you think about it we have one member who thinks they telepathically communicate with them everyday . This thread is heading that way
  21. Apparently, you're still mad at me for calling you out using evidence.
  22. Dr. Mayor found Chimp DNA under one in Kentucky. Unfortunately it’s just more questions than answers.

  24. On a side note ( read that as thread drift) . It always comes up why has no bigfoot bodies or bones been found . Hominids are the only species who ritualistically bury their dead https://www.earth.com/news/homo-naledi-may-have-been-the-first-to-bury-their-dead-200000-years-ago/ You know typing that up. The thought occurred to me . Those mystery log structures that are being found? Has anyone ever searched the ground near them for possible burial sites?
  25. What happens when a paranormal investigator drives home through the mountains of Colorado — and comes face to face with something he never expected to see in daylight? In this gripping and emotional episode, we talk with Brian, a Colorado-based paranormal investigator who recounts the early morning moment that changed his life: a 9-foot-tall, jet-black Sasquatch sprinting up from a rocky riverbank and across the road just feet from his car. But that wasn’t the end — Brian shares the footprints he later found with Jim Myers of the Sasquatch Outpost, the vocalizations he recorded in Kenosha Pass, and a mysterious growl that came in response to his call near Glen Haven. You'll hear stories from Bailey, Red Feather Lakes, Steamboat Springs, and even Remer, Minnesota — including how his wife had her own daylight encounter as a child. From eye shine caught on trail cams to theories on interdimensional travel, this episode blends mystery, emotion, and real human experience into one unforgettable story. More than just a sighting — this is a firsthand transformation, from skeptic to believer. If you've ever wondered whether Bigfoot walks among us... this episode may bring you closer than ever before. 26. 1) If Sasquatches exist, reporting data alone demands they have existed on Fort Lewis, WA, at some point since the creation of Ft. Lewis as an Army post in 1917 (just 27 years after the end of the American Indian Wars). Reporting data strongly indicates that Ft. Lewis features an enduring population of these creatures passing through on a regular basis, and a century ago might well have had a decent resident population. There are documented reports of soldiers seeing them, and even shooting at them, as well as civilians on and around the post seeing them. Pierce County pretty much has the highest report counts in the BRFO database for the entire continent. The U.S. Army has every tool and asset necessary to "catch" the strongest physical evidence of these creatures, even back in the early days of the post, especially after a half century of chasing Indians around the continent. They also have the ability to do so secretly, both from the knowledge of the public, other government agencies, and even from the knowledge of most of the soldiers and officers on post. 2) The Army has a cultural attitude of superiority over their environment and informational security.......to the point of paranoia. It has been this way since even before the beginning of the U.S. Army's existence when it was still the British Army. If field commanders have Sasquatches running around their facilities, reports will reach people with authority, and some of them WILL utilize their assets to find out what is going on, then they WILL report their findings to their superiors. If told to stop their activities and keep their mouths shut, there is more than a fair chance that they will do as instructed. 3) Especially since the mid-1960's (50 years after Ft. Lewis was founded, and more than 50 years ago from today), the environmental movement is plenty of reason why a post commander would keep the existence of sasquatches downplayed, if not actively covering their existence up, especially on Army lands. There are also numerous other potential reasons, especially if they have determined that these creatures are primitive humans (as the Indians claim), having gone through Indian Wars for some 500 years now. If Sasquatches exist, some within the U.S. Army know about it. You can take that to the bank.
