It almost certainly has happened. But the Smithsonian is exempt from the Indian graves act. So they could be hiding a-lot with that loophole. The Lovelock cave giants would be a well known example of this. What else is hidden in their basement?🤷🏻♂️

Happy New Year, Bigfoot family! I hope every one gets a chance to answer their questions about Bigfoot/Sasquatch this year, whether it's with a sighting, physical evidence, or online research. I'm still very much enjoying the adventure, even as I turn 81 today. Cheers!

Why hasn't Bigfoot been trapped, tranquilized, or shot and killed so it can be brought into a zoo or museum? This question is hard to understand because we have so many great hunters throughout the United States and one of these hunters should've brought in more than just one Bigfoot. I have read Bigfoot a report that states this has happened in the United States and a Mr. Smeja shot and killed a bigfoot. I read a report from one of the provinces in Canada, and a fellow did shoot and bring down a Bigfoot, and he described the situation. This report seemed to go nowhere and didn't add to the scientific evidence of the existence of Bigfoot. Why have none of these incidents really contributed to the evidence, study, and museum quality exhibitions in a museum? Even to this day the United States Forest Service still does not recognize the existence of Bigfoot and calls it a mythical creature. Why is this the present status of Bigfoot?

Very few people get to see a Bigfoot, and there are usually reasons for this such as being too noisy while hiking with tin cans and cups clinking together , talking, and most of all just being in an area that's too open where Bigfoot can see you. Bigfoot probably has a fantastic sense of smell and if you have fragrant scents from washing machines, shampoos or colognes then bigfoot will know you are in the area and hide. Bow and arrow hunters use liquid scents that disguise the human smell, and these scents can be purchased at a sporting goods store. I suppose you could consider getting camouflaged clothing or simply wear earth toned outer wear. Another factor to consider is the kind of footwear that you use so if you have lightweight boots that have soft soles and not a big thick hard leather soles then while you're walking the sound will be less obvious . Another factor is to hike in smaller groups such as three or four and navigate forest trails in a quiet manner. All of these factors combined could enable one to get a glimpse of a bigfoot while it disappears into the brush.. Just wear earth toned clothing which helps disguise your approach or wear camouflage clothing which of course helps disguise the human figure . Shiny metal objects should be avoided since the glare can announce your approach . Now sometimes I believe that Bigfoot will allow you to see it if it detects that you are not aggressive and dangerous towards wildlife. If you have the right vibrations then Bigfoot may allow itself to be seen . Another big turnoff for Bigfoot is if you pack a rifle. I'm sure Bigfoots are smart enough to know what rifles are for, and they hide from people that that carry them. I usually carry a concealed pistol such as my40 semi automatic. The pistol is to ward off a human or animal attackers such as a bear or criminal. The 40 would not bring down a large animal unless it was shot between the eyes or somewhere else in the head . However, the pistol noise may be enough to break the charge of an animal so it withdraws and leaves the area. I know there are more powerful pistols but frankly I don't want to pack the extra weight and clunkiness of a large revolver that weighs four times as much as my semi automatic 40. My friend Kenny became a big game hunter in Alaska, and he carried a huge pistol that sounded like it was a 500 caliber something, and it was big enough to bring down a medium sized grizzly bear which is needed while hunting in Alaska . I suppose I should switch over to a bigger pistol that fits into a comfortable shoulder holster. -

Happy New Year, Everyone! More from The Waynesboro (PA) Press, these stories from January 26, 1921. These were not mere backpage fill - both stories were front page along with the stories of a prominent local citizen, the hard economic times with 3,000,000 men out of work nationwide, a local newspaper editor being beaten up by eight men who "resented stories in his paper," and other serious stories. -

Happy New Year, everybody! While following up on missing Tirademan articles, I located this article from The Sacramento (CA) Bee, published on October 8, 1958. Any guesses on who the road contractor was who insisted that the giant footprints were not a hoax? Also, I did not cut off the article headline - that's the layout in the paper.

If you are interested in observing Bigfoot there are some basic do's and don'ts that should be discussed. Now you have to decide how long of a forest hike that you're going to take, and will it be one, day three days camping out, or a month. Now if your goal is to observe a bigfoot, one of the important preparations is to read Bigfoot reports that are listed in the website called Bigfoot Research Organization or BFRO. Then another preparation you have to look at aerial photographs of potential forest to visit and find areas where there is dense tree and shrub cover and not a lot of open spaces since Bigfoot wants to remain elusive and only to be seen when it so desires for this to happen. I'd like to hear from others and to understand their opinions In a method of making an acquaintance with a Bigfoot. Making a play book might be important for those adventurers who would like to study and communicate with Sasquatch. -
Well I spoke with the witness named Ray, and he said that when they were walking down the trail they first saw a stick structure that was disguised in the bushes, and it was big enough to hold a couple people . He said they looked inside this stick structure, and there was a tunnel in the floor but they didn't explore it because they were getting freaked out. They came out of the stick structure and Ray noticed some movement from behind a tree . They watched the tree and discovered a large hairy creature that was staring at them. This really freaked them out and Ray said they'd better get up the trail and head back to the car which is a 4 mile hike . He said they started walking back along the trail went along a steep hillside with tall Douglas fir trees on each side They looked back again and noticed the Bigfoot was following them . He said when he and his friend saw this creature tracking them, they began to run and ran about two miles up this trail back to the truck. As they ran, they kept looking back in a state of panic . As I said before, this happened when Ray was about 17 and he's now 50 years old, and he still remembers details about the traumatic incident. I asked him if he could find the area again and he said there are so many canyons in this general vicinity that he can't remember which one it was . I get the feeling that he really doesn't want to return to this area since when he was 17 it was a horror story. I still wonder if the Bigfoot was an outcast from the clan or was it a single young Bigfoot out on its own? Are there any questions that you want to ask Ray?

In this episode of Bigfoot Society, host Jeremiah Byron welcomes Richard D. Priest, Jr., a former U.S. Marine Corps veteran with special operations, reconnaissance, and intelligence training, for a wide-ranging and deeply personal discussion about his decades-long experiences with unexplained phenomena, culminating in multiple encounters inside Washington State’s Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Richard begins by outlining his military background, including behind-enemy-lines communications work, special sections training, and reconnaissance experience. He explains how these skills shaped his approach to analyzing anomalous encounters, threat assessment, and field operations. He then recounts how his interest in non-human intelligence began years ago through contact with individuals claiming off-planet communications, leading to research into remote wilderness locations suitable for controlled encounters. The conversation covers Richard’s belief that some non-human entities operate from underground and underwater facilities, using advanced technology such as teleportation, surveillance, and directed-energy systems. He describes a past incident in which he believes he was injured by a directed-energy weapon, an event that caused him to sever contact with certain individuals and reevaluate the risks involved. Richard then connects this broader context to his Bigfoot experiences, explaining why he believes Sasquatch may not be an undiscovered primate, but instead non-human intelligences tasked with guarding sensitive locations, including underground access points. He discusses why Bigfoot encounters often involve sudden appearances, disappearing trackways, vocal intimidation, and avoidance of sustained visual contact. 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? In this episode of Bigfoot Society, a truck driver shares one of the most unsettling and emotional Sasquatch encounters ever documented. While hiking and practicing bushcraft in the Southern California mountains, he comes face-to-face with a massive, humanoid figure unlike any Bigfoot description he had ever heard before. What follows is a prolonged visual encounter, detailed physical observations, and an experience that challenges everything we think we know about Sasquatch behavior. Years later, during a remote stay in the same mountain region, the witness believes the same mysterious being saved his life by aggressively warning him of an approaching wildfire—throwing rocks at his shelter until he escaped just moments before the flames arrived. The encounter left him convinced that whatever he encountered was intelligent, aware, and protective rather than hostile. 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience?
