A truck driver pulls off a remote highway in the Utah high desert around 3:00 AM, more than 40 miles from the nearest town. While trying to sleep inside his semi, he hears three deliberate knocks against the truck. Then the knocking moves. Over the next hour, it comes from different sides of the cab as he repeatedly turns on his lights and searches the empty desert around him. Eventually, something strikes the semi with enough force to rock the entire truck. Matthew shares what happened when he finally decided to drive away, along with other unexplained experiences from his years crossing America as a long-haul trucker. First Axiom of Sasquatch: Sasquatch find you, you do not find Sasquatch. For example, campsite activity instead of running around a watershed or two. A fixed campsite uses less gas. Motor vehicles are an attractive curiosity. You must be a normal Human ( well, there goes that approach ). Smoke from the fire, the smell of food during cooking are good olfactory signals compared to urine from four legged species. Fooling them does not work. Other members of your animal inventory may show up. Most importantly, you must be on good terms with Ravens.

The first article was published in the Trenton (NJ) Evening Times on April 23, 1957 and includes a picture of a young Peter Byrne. The second article (in two parts) was published in the Evansville (IN) Courier on April 28, 1957 and contains details of the expedition's finds. The final article was published in The Anniston (AL) Star on Monday, April 29, 1957.

Published in the Arizona Daily Star of Tuscon (AZ) on September 6, 1977. Admittedly a small byline about Bigfoot, but it appears to tie in to the prior story from Utah.

For 45 minutes, something tapped against a window approximately nine feet above the ground while John Bertoli lay alone inside a remote yurt near Mount Adams. Missing 4-1-1- before there was Missing 4-1-1-

It is a little more than that. We are looking for something that does what we believe bigfoot does, where we believe bigfoot does it, when we believe bigfoot does it. All we have to do is be wrong about what, where, or when and success becomes a result of fortunate accident rather than deliberate planning. IF they are deliberately misleading us on any of those 3 "fronts", it takes an accident, not planning, to produce positive results.

Bigfoot DNA has to be different from human DNA since we homo sapiens have a unique genetic code. As far as I know we have never found bigfoot DNA that has to be way different from human or homo sapien DNA. The biopsy dart as Norseman brought up might be the only quick way to get bigfoot's DNA unless I'm mistaken. We need the DNA experts to chime in. "Homo sapiens occupies a unique position in the history of life, representing the sole surviving species of a once diverse genus. Unlike chimpanzees, which have a close living cousin in the bonobo, or elephants, which include multiple extant species, humanity stands alone in the biological landscape. This singular status is a recent phenomenon in evolutionary terms, posing a profound question about how our species, which emerged relatively late, managed to outlast all its close relatives." internet search. Does this mean bigfoot is not a homo sapien?

I heard about such practices a long time ago, and wouldn't be at all surprised to hear they're being considered once again as the current administration continues selling/leasing federal lands. Wasn't it the movie Brazil that ends with people driving down a highway with either a strip of forest along each side of the road or billboards blocking any view but the road itself(its been decades since I saw it..) And as the movie ends the camera pulls back and up, revealing all the surrounding hillsides clear cut to the dirt? I think I might well have done the same, choosing to not be a a part of the deception, much less a part of the machine that advances such destruction of forest and habitat. I have read a number of accounts submitted by current as well as former Forest Service agents/rangers/workers over the decades of reading accounts. But realistically, you'd think that if they reported all they'd seen that there would be a whole lot more of such accounts. It would be fascinating were there found a record of all bigfoot/sasquatch reports submitted by park visitors to rangers of a given park, even unofficial, just the guys at the desk writing them down, if nothing else, for even "just" that could show actual numbers of encounters, possibly seasonal trends, maybe even give some insight to their numbers in the immediate area.

DNA always cones back as: 1) Contaminated 2) Bear, dog, bison, aardvark, or some other boringly known creature 3) or "human", and almost NEVER stated as "Homo sapien"

1) a cell phone is found out in the woods, a little off trail, which once charged reveals a series of "clearer than usual " pictures of first one then two+ sasquatch following a person, getting closer....no missing person reports for the area 2) Cliff Barackman happens upon another trackway, and casts every decent print of it until it stops midst ride 3) Patty finally comes forth and cops to the fact that it was indeed her, in a suit..... 4) one of the developers trump sells federal land to gets run off by a tribe of "fur covered people...probably liberals" so they return with greater numbers and find nothing but then really odd things start to happen all around the field camp that some describe as "like if the forest was a domestic terrorist" 5) trump declares sasquatch a "fake hoax" leaving people wondering "what he really meant by that?" 6) audio recordings will surface after the 1st of the year that contain further clearly linguistic sound patterns denoting different but related dialects spoken by voices with pitch ranges far beyond that of humans. And... 7) some so cal dude in an 80s VW vanagon camper van, along with his two cats, stop just outside of Orick CA, along the forested highway, where they're approached by a large hairy man-like creature making gestures clearly implying it was looking for a drum circle and then that it had some tasty venison if the fellow would manage a decent backbeat.......go figure

I suggest all three options are occurring.

I've been thinking about picking up either an 80s VW Westphalia Vanagon or one of those Winnebago x VW Eurovan Rialtos and going around California, Oregon, Washington, and BC/Alberta in the next few years ...do some listening, maybe play live music see if that brings anybody around the site...

I Very well put MIB and I believe you had a bigfoot sighting. This is why we don't see bigfoot. We are looking for the right thing in the wrong place. I've had this friend for over 50 years, and he has been an Alaska hunting guide and a bush pilot. Like me he is old at eighty years and has been living on an Indian reservation in northern Idaho and is now scouting for Elk every day. He is at the right place at the right time, and he told me last night that on two scouting occasions in the high timbered mountains on two occasions, he has seen a bigfoot. He is skookum and is in the right place at the right time. Skookum is an Indian word for woods wise.
