  6. He is a smart guy with a lot of interesting perspectives.
  7. Marc Myrsel posted a pdf in 2019. It has extra local color. https://www.sos.wa.gov/sites/default/files/2022-05/SL_MtDevilMyrsell-001.pdf
  8. Marc Myrsell is a member here. Good person to learn from.
  9. What I think people are missing is that Mark myrsells basically corroborated all the evidence (except for the attacking sasquatch) is real The mine is/was real, the cabin was real, the lode claims are real etc.
  10. Except lead isn't magnetic.
  11. The correct answer is that bigfoot are magnetic and the bullets attached to them, helping them shapeshift and use portals.
  12. Yesterday
  13. I would expect that. As I like visiting old mines. Almost all mine entrances are on the side of a slope.
  14. This will be the last historic newspaper article posted until December; enjoy Thanksgiving everyone. Make of this what you will - this article was published in The Scranton (PA) Tribune on October 16, 1897.
  15. I gave it. I don’t put much stock in the Sierra sounds. But if someone does? Good for them. And people mimic Sasquatch stuff all the time. From the PGF 352 frame to wood knocking to the Ohio howl. It’s inevitable.
  16. What i found interesting is that they literally built this cabin on the side of a cliff with not a lot of wiggle room. They used dynamite to create a man-made shelf sop to say. The drawings and, interpretations, and depictions of the cabin have made it look like the cabin was built on a large flat surface.
  17. It's easy to Google, FBI etc. Basically it is 1976-1977 correspondence between Peter Byrne and the FBI on "hair evidence." There's nothing new, only that the "hair" is "not a known animal." Happy Holiday Season: Joe here Ps: Much later.

Is the Bigfoot Forum losing interest?

I asked for your opinion. What is your opinion on the question I posed?
  19. I think we are all participating in a fringe subject and it’s wise to remember that. We are all fools in the eyes of science. And there is only one path forward to reverse the table.
  20. I believe it happened in 1924? There is a good chance they were using brass shotgun shells. Card board shotgun shells swell in high humidity (Cascades) and plastic shotgun shells were not a thing until the 1960s.
  21. All of them? Even the shotgun shells that would have been stepped on in the dark of the night ?

Do you think people who mimic the sierra sound calls are fools?
  23. I disagree. I think the Sierra sounds, sound like uncle Buck in the bushes. But many people think there is something there. Which is fine. The crux of the issue is that when some researchers are repeatedly outsmarted by Sasquatch? They begin to attribute supernatural powers to it. To explain away why they cannot go out and find it in the woods. The same thing happened in feudal Japan with the Ninja. I am not casting aspersions. I am simply demanding proof. You’re in a hunting camp in the Sierras. And for many years, each year many of these things approach camp close. So close that the hunters build themselves a stockade in order to feel safe. And the best you can do to provide proof is audio recordings? What will NEVER be proof to science. 1) Video 2) Audio 3) Plaster casts 4) Stories What is considered proof. 1) Hair 2) Saliva 3) Bone 4) Flesh 5) Scat The simplest way to navigate this subject going forward is to demand proof. That’s how you separate the wheat from the chaff. I am not saying you completely discount video or audio or tracks, etc. But real tangible proof should be the end goal. Otherwise we are literally chasing ghosts. And nothing will ever come of this.

It's amazing how many people use Morehead's recordings of Sasquatch calls as their own calls. I've heard MANY researchers try to emulate those noises. But when it comes to believing the rest of his story, its too abstract for them. Pretty funny to me. Logically, if the calls are real, the rest of his story is too. Now, you don't have to believe his interpretation, as its just a theory, but the same people who cast aspersions on the outer edge theories of this topic are still in the woods mimicking Ron's calls.
  25. At the same time that a gorilla was terrorizing Idaville and months before a gorilla invaded Gettysburg (see earlier posts), there was an outbreak of gorilla sightings near the town of Rouzerville, Pennsylvania, a small town in Franklin County about 20 miles to the southwest of Gettysburg. I first encountered some of these stories in Timothy Renner's Bigfoot in Pennsylvania. The first story is from The Gettysburg (PA) Times on January 28, 1921; the second is from the same paper on February 1, 1921; and the last story (for now) is from the Centre Daily Times of State College (PA), published on February 05, 1921.
  26. When Bryce Edwards was growing up on his family’s 642-acre farm, in Southern Illinois, his grandmother told him a story that made his jaw drop. She told him about the time when she saw what she called a Honey Bear come out of the woods, across the road from where she’d been sitting. She was sitting in her front yard, at the time, with Bryce’s father and his brother when the Honey Bear came out of the woods. When she saw it, she grabbed Bryce’s dad and his brother, ran inside with them, and hid in a closet until Bryce’s grandfather came home from work. That happened 60 years ago. Fast forward to present day and Bryce has had experiences with them of his own. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to him share his experiences. Need Help In Central Texas.........

I should have put these 3 pics together with a better explanation.....the stick A-frame in the first pic appeared one day recently by the Spring in the 2nd pic, and the 3rd pic is a trail probably leading to one of their sleep areas, and no I don't go there and respect their privacy...this Spring is one of the few places that will still hold water, even during droughts.
