Odds Bigfoot exists? For those gamblers out there, I thought this might be interesting. I am not a gambler, so I don't know what -225 or +150 really mean. When people tell us what they think, they may speak of pure passion but not on fact. Example might be "The Jets are winning the Superbowl" But when we bet it more telling what we really think will happen. When money is on the line it clarifies and makes our opinion more honest. Thus, the guy who says the Jets will win the Superbowl are more likely to say, "The Chiefs or Eagles will win it" if betting is on the line. For what is worth I stumbled across this....... Does Bigfoot really exist, or is it all an urban legend? Is there any chance of the mystical creature ever being found? We are examining the latest betting odds that Bigfoot exists and making some wacky predictions on whether Sasquatch will be discovered. Online bookmakers have released intriguing Bigfoot prop bets on the prospect of finding the elusive creature, so let’s dive in below to see different perspectives! Odds That Bigfoot Exists: What the Bookies Think The following Bigfoot betting odds are courtesy of BetUS: PROP BET ODDS Bigfoot to Be Found in the US -225 Bigfoot to Be Found in Canada +150 Bigfoot to Be Found in 2025 +30000 The best entertainment betting sites have released a number of betting markets on the discovery of Bigfoot. Currently, BetUS has three prop bets available, which give bettors an opportunity to cash in on Sasquatch’s whereabouts! According to the latest odds of finding Bigfoot, the species is most likely to be found in the United States. With a price of -225, there is a 69.2% implied probability of Bigfoot being found on US land. Despite Canada having a large landmass, the odds of Bigfoot existing in Canada isn’t as high at +150. In other words, BetUS has tabbed Canada as having a 40% implied chance of finding Bigfoot. In addition to having a larger landmass, Canada has 9% of the world’s forests (362 million hectares), while the US has 8% (304 million hectares) coverage. If Bigfoot exists, the creatures are more likely to be hanging out in the forest, far away from human civilization. Although the North American Bigfoot Center is in Boring, OR, the best value is on Bigfoot being found in Canada’s Pacific Northwest! It’s highly unlikely the creature would be setting up its home near any national center dedicated to itself. With this in mind, if you are interested in betting on this unique Bigfoot prop bet, I recommend Canada at +150. As an aside, at +30000 odds, there is just a 0.3% implied probability of Bigfoot being discovered in 2025. While a lot of crazy events have been happening around the world, I’m not optimistic about humans finding Bigfoot in 2025. You can find the most up-to-date odds of Bigfoot being real at BetUS by navigating to Sportsbook > Novelty > Mysteries > Big Foot.

What do you think of the US Forest Service's view on bigfoot?

I suggest that, too, is opinion, not a fact. -

If one bigfoot exists, to me this means the odds are better there a few others vs it being the only one. If one exists it suggests some percentages of these sightings are exactly what the witnesses say they are. They are likely another Bigfoot and thus, more of them out there. The odds have to be low the one we see (even within a gun sight) is the last one. Here is the uncomfortable truth: Killing it would confirm it exists. This would awaken the interests in the subject. It's pretty likely the rest of the Bigfeet out there would benefit by being labeled off limits to hunt. They likely would be placed in some protective status. I'm betting massive resources would be given to find more, study more, understand the more. It would not be all good news for Bigfoot. I have to think their world would be invaded and intruded on more than we already do. Further, it would be just a matter of time before one ended up in a zoo. Good for Bigfoot perhaps but not good for the Bigfoot in the zoo itself. It would be a tragedy to shoot one, but the remaining species would benefit in the long run protecting the remaining population. That's a universal protection they don't likely have right now. -

The Question of the thread will probably create a continued spirited debate. I'm staying out of that one. Let me try to take this somewhere toward a solution. Let's assume a few things here: Assume 1) Bigfoot exists and 2) the Government (whomever that may be) is covering it all up. What is the solution to this? The solution can only be the capture of a live Bigfoot or the killing of a Bigfoot to have a body on the slab. Produce Bigfoot for all to see and it's going to be pretty hard to continue any cover-up. I don't happen to think the government really cares about this issue as most of you can gather. But for those who do, the only way to pop that bubble is to have someone OUTSIDE that circle capture or kill one. If someone shot a Bigfoot, the cell phone alone would cause the story to spread like wildfire. Pic, a video, and so on would be a near perfect defense. It probably makes it too late for government to grab the body and cart it off to Area 51. Sure, that same government might use hunting laws to jail the guy. But the horse would have already left the barn. The guy might be fined or jailed the Bigfoot would no longer be a secret. I would rather people didn't put Bigfoot in a zoo or kill one. But until one of those things happen, I don't see this changing. A Government who doesn't care or A Government who does can only be changed by a body. A body solves the problem. -

You posted: That is opinion, not fact. I stated my experience. You can accept it or not, but you cannot claim your opinion as fact. But I consider it arrogant that you would publlcly post that I'm seeing things that are not actually there and is all in my head. That does not say that they disregard potential existence like what you claimed. There's nothing in the statement that demonstrates that they're discouraging the possibility that it exists like what you claimed. But that statement, too, is factual: It is not opinion. The U.S. Forest Service: 1) Does not confirm Bigfoot's existence 2) They maintain open spaces and wildlife habitat therein 3) And those lands could potentially include habitat for such a creature should it exist Isn't that true? -
Excellent work Doc! This, and air DNA collection are, simple, no-brainer methods for discovering, if not yet the species itself, at least a good area for operations. For those on the "proof" trail, getting up to speed on these methods and dialing them in with more data from various regions, seems like a relatively inexpensive way to find it. It may take a minute but this is going to be "the way" going forward methinks. I can see the schnazzily boxed sampling kits on the shelves next to every cash register of every general store in all of the outdoor recreation areas already.

1. There is no "missing link" regarding the evolution of humans. The Theory of Evolution does not say anything about there being a missing link. There's a non-human species and the human species. The main thing is that the government does not dictate the recognition of a new species. 2. There isn't a case for a lawsuit because the government is not responsible for the crimes of individuals. A government worker can be a serial killer and at the end, the government isn’t responsible for that person's actions. And again, the government doesn't dictate what species exist or not. 3. The American government opened that can of worms years ago with black slaves. Belonging to the same species is not the same as Belonging to the same genus. Human rights are the rights of Homosapeins sapeins, so bigfoot wouldn't affect the government. But even if bigfoot is accepted as being part of human, that still wouldn't have any impact on the government. Bigfoot would be treated like any other human living in the wild, off the grid. BTW, The problem with the ex-slaves was because of their living status. The government had to decide what to do with them since they're being incorporated into society with the rest of the American human population. With bigfoot, it's just going to be the same as how it is right now. -

What happens when a Michigan man chasing Bigfoot evidence finds himself face-to-face with entities far beyond what he ever imagined — including a fairy, shadow people, and a Sasquatch that growled inches from his head? In this shocking and deeply personal episode, Brian Sawyer returns to share the wild continuation of his journey through haunted lands, interdimensional doorways, and late-night mind-speak encounters. From Port Huron to the remote woods of Blue Creek, Brian describes how the Bigfoot phenomenon expanded into something more terrifying — and more real — than he ever expected. You’ll hear about fairies that explode electronics, Sasquatch that follow you home, and one dark moment where a being telepathically demanded: “Come outside. I’m hungry.” This is an unfiltered account of mystery, danger, and the thin veil between worlds. You don’t want to miss this. Sorry that you can't handle the truth, but it's not problem. It's not arrogant to present the fact that your opinion about the Forest Service's statement is you seeing what you want it to be instead of what's literally stated. It's not an opinion if that's what he statement literally says. The statement below is the one that your opinion is about. That does not say that they disregard potential existence like what you claimed. There's nothing in the statement that demonstrates that they're discouraging the possibility that it exists like what you claimed. So, no, what I said isn't an opinion. It's facts -

He claims they’re able to disappear at will. I’m personally skeptical, but I remember Dr. John B. Alexander (a retired US colonel) said something similar in his book ‘Reality Denied’. He has top security clearances and claims that Sasquatch aren’t entirely flesh and blood beings. He often tries to teach people that many of these unexplained phenomena (e.g. UFOs, Bigfoot, Psychic Ability) are related and require a holistic approach to solving them. I really wish DeLonge would come out and reveal everything rather than leak stuff through fictional works while trying to make money off of it. So far he hasn’t done a good job at educating the public about what he’s learned from the US government. I read his first two non-fiction books on UFOs and found them not very helpful. -

What does Tom know about paranormal bigfoots? We do have a section on UFO reports and I haven't snooped around there yet. If you go to a 'Flash of Beauty' and find two fellows from Coquille, Oregon. One has a blue shirt and a slender man has a red shirt and they speak of a paranormal bigfoot that they ran across on a mountain road. - Yesterday

Thanks. The Garmin plan was too expensive and too inflexible for my liking, so I went w/Zoleo. The advantage that I can see is that I can basically suspend service for awhile w/out paying outrageous fees. Knock on wood that I don't need it.

I submitted a paper to RHI last November, but it's still in peer review. In the meantime, here is a YouTube video of my presentation at the Kiamichi Mountains Bigfoot Conference in May: The first few slides, omitted here, were about DNA and the microphone was not on and so were not recorded. Nothing new in them that you probably don't already know.
