  3. An 11-foot Bigfoot watching from the trees. Two massive figures outside a window. A white Bigfoot lying in the snow. And an apparent infant observed for nearly 90 minutes. Robin Long Soldier shares decades of extraordinary encounters across Nebraska and South Dakota, including activity near Pine Ridge and White Clay, repeated experiences at Pioneers Park in Lincoln, photographs of suspected juveniles, quiet whoops, unexplained physical contact, and video footage she believes captured one watching her and her husband. Then more witnesses come forward. In Pend Oreille County, Washington, Gabe describes game-camera images, strange sounds, disturbed hunting camps, alleged tracks and hair near Boundary Dam. In Lewis County, Kentucky, David recalls being followed through the woods by an approximately nine-foot creature and a second 2026 encounter with a juvenile-sized figure crossing the road. Near Calaveras Big Trees in Northern California, a witness hears powerful wood knocks, growls, and a close-range hiss after venturing off-trail. Finally, Craig returns to rural Kentucky in 1977–78, where a massive silhouette stood outside his grandparents’ farmhouse and mimicked his movements. Six states. Decades of reports. Multiple witnesses telling their experiences in their own words. 📖 Follow Jeremiah's cancer health updates here: https://www.caringbridge.org/site/569ef3d3-68be-11f1-8790-97fdfd2bbc64 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? 4. Yesterday
  5. Published in the Sun-Journal of Lewiston (ME) on June 17, 1991. This article was important enough to post immediately!
  6. The first article is from The Globe and Mail of Toronto, Canada and was published on August 1, 1956. The article describing some obstacles in Tom Slick's way is from The Florida Times-Union of Jacksonville (FL) and was published on October 7, 1956. The final article is from The Beaumont (TX) Enterprise edition of December 13, 1956.
  7. Again from the Southern Oregon History Page, published in The Morning Oregonian of Portland (OR) on November 11, 1876. After a bit of searching, I believe that the location is actually Woodard's Bay, which is off of the Henderson Inlet and near the South Bay neighborhood of Olympia.
  8. Found in Ben Truwe's Southern Oregon History website and published in the Oregon City (OR) Enterprise on October 26, 1867. After reviewing the facts of this encounter, I believe it is distinct from the newspaper article concerning the Indian named "Bigfoot" posted in this section earlier. The two locations are about 100 miles apart and there is no mention of an encounter with Native Americans in this news article.
  9. All Oregon stories for the next few weeks were found on Ben Truwe's Southern Oregon History website's list of possible Bigfoot encounters at https://truwe.sohs.org/files/bigfoot.html. The first story here is from the Oregon Sentinel of Jacksonville (OR) on March 21, 1863. The second is from the same paper on April 8, 1863.
  10. Published in The Columbian of Vancouver (WA) on June 22, 1984.
  11. Originally released as Episode 547 of Bigfoot Society on 10/4/24. A quiet drive through Oregon farmland turns into a moment that stays with a witness for years. In this episode of Bigfoot Society, Jeremiah Byron talks with Colleen, an Oregon outdoorswoman who spent her life hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping across the Pacific Northwest. During the fall of 2020 on Sauvie Island, she and her partner encountered a large black, humanlike figure crossing a remote access road in broad daylight. The figure looked directly at them, continued calmly across the road, then appeared to stop and watch them before disappearing into dense blackberry hedges. As the years passed, Colleen began connecting that unforgettable encounter with other unexplained experiences from across Oregon. She shares reports of mysterious tree knocks while hiking near Scappoose, unsettling nighttime footsteps outside her home on Sauvie Island, possible vocal exchanges she once believed were owls, and recent activity near her current rural property bordering miles of forest. She also reflects on childhood camping trips near Mount Hood and how those memories have taken on new meaning. This conversation explores what happens after a life-changing encounter, how personal perspectives evolve over time, and why protecting the wild places of the Pacific Northwest has become even more important to her.Listen to the Podcast

  17. Sara joins the show to give us an update on what is going on the Browns property including encountering a small creature on her roof. She wasn't the only one to see it, her neighbor reported seeing the same creature on her roof. Sara Brown grew up in the suburbs of Olympia and had never given Sasquatch a second thought until she moved to the Chehalis Indian Reservation in 2012. What began as her husband Jonathan's family stories about footprints outside his great-grandfather's smokehouse became more than a decade of firsthand documentation audio recordings of speech, whistles, and vocalizations; a two-minute thermal video; a 16.5-inch track cast now held by Cliff Barackman at the North American Bigfoot Center; and a daylight photograph she didn't discover until nearly a year after taking it. I’ve often heard about the legend of the The Grey Man in Britain. It’s seems to be seen in the foggy, rocky and rugged mountains. There a number of sightings in England. Ive seen them three times on the West Coast of California and Oregon
  21. Tonight’s guest, Greg Helton, has been investigating the Sasquatch phenomenon for about 30 years. His first sighting happened in Manitou Springs, Colorado. He was on a cliff face, on the eastern side of Williams Canyon, tossing slate rocks over the edge so he could watch them smash on the ground below. After tossing the third rock, he suddenly noticed a black, furry, humanoid-shaped figure moving to his left. When he focused on the figure, he realized that it was looking back at him. A moment later, he realized it wasn’t alone… Greg went on to have many more experiences with Sasquatch after that day. Probably the most memorable of those experiences was the time he accidentally peed on one. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to Greg share that experience, his first sighting, and several of his other Sasquatch encounters with you. 22. Some places leave a lasting impression on everyone who experiences them, and the forests surrounding Rainier, Oregon continue to earn that reputation. In this episode of Bigfoot Society, Ellie shares two unforgettable experiences from her childhood near Camp Wilkerson, and the Nehalem River. One night, an unseen presence surrounded a family trampoline, throwing rocks and heavy sticks from the darkness. Another evening, while returning from a chanterelle mushroom hunt, she found herself running through the woods with enormous footsteps keeping pace just behind her. Later in the episode, Monte recounts a remarkable series of encounters spanning the Florida Everglades, Kandahar, Afghanistan, and Central Texas. His stories include a creature lifting his truck, military sightings involving multiple large figures, repeated rock-throwing incidents, and years of encounters around Marble Falls and Kerrville. This episode explores firsthand eyewitness testimony from forests, wetlands, mountains, and remote backroads where unexplained encounters continue to be reported. Whether you're fascinated by Bigfoot research, regional hotspots, or personal witness accounts, this is an episode you won't want to miss. If you've experienced something you can't explain, Bigfoot Society would love to hear your story. 📖 Follow Jeremiah's cancer health updates here: https://www.caringbridge.org/site/569ef3d3-68be-11f1-8790-97fdfd2bbc64 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? Best Circumstantial Evidence

As for reports, they used to say for every report submitted up to 100 go unreported. Now that could be an exaggeration, but back before Finding Bigfoot and the "normalization" of sightings(if you can call it that even now) I'm sure people were far more reluctant to come forth. I know my late natural sister told me of a couple incidents she had (one early morning sighting and another time where she was escorted out without seeing the creature) and she never reported either. Also I'm a firm believer that instead of most bigfoot sightings actually being bears, I think a fairly big number of Bigfoot sightings get discounted as bear sightings by the witnesses themselves because the people involved simply can't process the possibility that they saw bigfoot, and so their minds default to explaining it away as a bear, something "normal" they already understand and accept, as well as something that won't get them laughed at, disparaged or called crazy. I'm sure that in some percentage of such cases people choose to call it a bear just to avoid the social stigma involved, or feared would be involved, in reporting a sighting. Call it a survival strategy, be it conscious or subconscious.

Koko was not a one off by any means. There have been a number of great apes taught sign language. Gorillas, orangs, and I'm pretty sure chimps as well. I believe there are also cases where mothers taught offspring ASL, although I can't say to what extent or if there developed any gorilla specific/created signs that they did or didn't explain to humans(of course if they didn't they might not be recognized as such or deemed "gorilla mumbling ASL") What's really remarkable is the research being done with chimps using touchscreen monitors to perform tests, on some of which they outperform humans !
