What proof do we have of the existence of bigfoot other than the Patterson Gimlin film, foot prints, hair samples, or reports of bigfoots being seen around UFOs. There is a report from Canada that I will try and find of a bigfoot shot by a hunter outside of a small Canadian town in one of the middle providences. All of these reports play a role in nailing down the existence of bigfoot but a live bigfoot is needed or the sad proof of a bigfoot being shot and brought in by a hunter. There is another report of a live infant bigfoot named Jacko who was found along railroad tracks in Canada? Read a report about Jacko below. “The Jacko hoax was a Canadian newspaper story about a gorilla supposedly caught near Yale, British Columbia in 1884. The story, titled "What is it?, A strange creature captured above Yale. A British Columbia Gorilla", appeared in the British Columbia newspaper the Daily Colonist on July 4, 1884. The original newspaper article describes "Jacko" as a gorilla and not a Sasquatch. However, the "Jacko" story has been used by Bigfoot advocates as evidence for the existence of Sasquatch.” Why are we having so much trouble in proving the existence of bigfoot by producing a live specimen or a deceased bigfoot that was old and died or shot by a hunter? We have evidence of practically every animal living on planet Earth but not bigfoot? What's it going to take?

Something Stayed Beside His Truck All Night on Oregon’s Bigfoot Highway!
BFFbot posted a topic in Bigfoot Society Podcast
Sam Chandler’s journey with the Sasquatch phenomenon stretches from a remote 5,000-acre property in Ontario, Canada, to the forests of Georgia and deep into the mountains of Oregon. In this episode of Bigfoot Society, Sam shares decades of experiences that began when he was a child and continued into adulthood. He recalls unexplained footsteps around an isolated Canadian lake, violent impacts against a cabin, strange lights moving through the forest, unusual recordings captured at night, and a terrifying solo camping experience that changed his understanding of what might be happening around him. Years later in western Georgia, the encounters continued. Sam describes changing tree structures, unseen footsteps following his family, three separate sets of footsteps closing in around him, wood knocks, activity around his home, and interactions that became increasingly personal. After moving to Oregon, everything intensified. Sam takes us into remote camps near Bend, Camp Broken Arrow along the Bigfoot Highway, and the forests surrounding Oakridge. He shares experiences involving massive individuals moving through the darkness, mysterious whistles beside his tent, apparent communication, strange vibrations, rocks thrown into camp, something racing past his vehicle in the middle of the night, and an approximately 16-inch footprint discovered near a spring during Sasquatch Summer Fest 2026. Sam also shares some of his most extraordinary experiences involving what he calls the “Sasquatch people,” including encounters he believes involved direct communication and an Oregon experience in which three individuals—a male, female, and juvenile—were presented to him with remarkable clarity. This is a journey spanning more than 40 years, multiple states, and two countries. Listen through to the end. Sam’s experiences around Oakridge and Sasquatch Summerfest bring the story right into the present day. I don't think that's automatically a strange question. It is something we should be thinking about .. society-wise, not just bigfooters. I think the best answer is "it depends." There are some really bad assumptions built into the question, assumptions that should be examined. First thing .. what we consider "normal" is not historical normal. (1) Transpiration creates a downwind moisture plume which allows forest to grow in places it naturally could not. Fire destroys not just what it burns, but the downwind moisture plume which "artificially" supports forest in places that would naturally be desert if there were no forest upwind to provide the atmospheric moisture. (2) We have 100 years and more of fire fighting / fire prevention which has altered the natural landscape. Though it is familiar to us, it is not the long term norm and it is not "natural." Complicating things further, the Native Americans / First Nations people deliberately altered the environment / landscape with large scale fire. Because they seem to have arrived before deglaciation, there probably has not been a "natural" environment, one not altered by human activity, since before the last glacial maximum. Data suggest we are in a period of rapid climate change. Second thing .. forest regrowth is though a progression of stages. Once forest is lost, we get grasslands / brush, smaller trees, etc before big trees return. This can take centuries, not decades, not years, and given changing climate conditions, I'm not sure we will have periods between fires long enough for the cycle to complete, we seem to be looking at forest -> burn -> brush -> burn -> brush -> burn -> brush .. etc. We .. in my area .. are getting much more frequent dry lighting and large fires than we have ever had in recorded history. The opportunities for mature forest to re-form under these conditions seem nil. In fact it seems the only chance of restoration is via human intervention, not via natural processes. This situation seems likely to last for centuries, maybe tens of centuries, and the new equilibrium, if there is one, won't be the one we're used to. I suspect much of North America, if humans just vanished, would turn into a land of brush and grasses with very little "reclamation" by forest as we know it because of the increased rate of lightning fires driven by global warming. Once turned to brush and grasses, it is very difficult to return to forest because conditions don't last enough years in a row for that to happen. IMHO of course! MIB

Strange Q: I know all fires are not created equally, some wildfires can be seen as nature's way to do what nature does in a life death cycle. If an area is hit by devastating wildfires How Long does it take to rejuvenate the area where it mostly returns to 'normal' I realize the PGF area was wiped out by a flood a couple years before. Then we had the PGF. Then, 50 years later it's hard to find the spot. How long will it take for these areas to recover esp if mankind left it alone to grow back in its own?

11-Foot Bigfoot Watches Woman in Lincoln, Nebraska!
BFFbot posted a topic in Bigfoot Society Podcast
An 11-foot Bigfoot watching from the trees. Two massive figures outside a window. A white Bigfoot lying in the snow. And an apparent infant observed for nearly 90 minutes. Robin Long Soldier shares decades of extraordinary encounters across Nebraska and South Dakota, including activity near Pine Ridge and White Clay, repeated experiences at Pioneers Park in Lincoln, photographs of suspected juveniles, quiet whoops, unexplained physical contact, and video footage she believes captured one watching her and her husband. Then more witnesses come forward. In Pend Oreille County, Washington, Gabe describes game-camera images, strange sounds, disturbed hunting camps, alleged tracks and hair near Boundary Dam. In Lewis County, Kentucky, David recalls being followed through the woods by an approximately nine-foot creature and a second 2026 encounter with a juvenile-sized figure crossing the road. Near Calaveras Big Trees in Northern California, a witness hears powerful wood knocks, growls, and a close-range hiss after venturing off-trail. Finally, Craig returns to rural Kentucky in 1977–78, where a massive silhouette stood outside his grandparents’ farmhouse and mimicked his movements. Six states. Decades of reports. Multiple witnesses telling their experiences in their own words. 📖 Follow Jeremiah's cancer health updates here: https://www.caringbridge.org/site/569ef3d3-68be-11f1-8790-97fdfd2bbc64 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? Found in Ben Truwe's Southern Oregon History website and published in the Oregon City (OR) Enterprise on October 26, 1867. After reviewing the facts of this encounter, I believe it is distinct from the newspaper article concerning the Indian named "Bigfoot" posted in this section earlier. The two locations are about 100 miles apart and there is no mention of an encounter with Native Americans in this news article. -

BIGFOOT MAKES EYE CONTACT with Witness on Sauvie Island, Oregon
BFFbot posted a topic in Bigfoot Society Podcast
Originally released as Episode 547 of Bigfoot Society on 10/4/24. A quiet drive through Oregon farmland turns into a moment that stays with a witness for years. In this episode of Bigfoot Society, Jeremiah Byron talks with Colleen, an Oregon outdoorswoman who spent her life hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping across the Pacific Northwest. During the fall of 2020 on Sauvie Island, she and her partner encountered a large black, humanlike figure crossing a remote access road in broad daylight. The figure looked directly at them, continued calmly across the road, then appeared to stop and watch them before disappearing into dense blackberry hedges. As the years passed, Colleen began connecting that unforgettable encounter with other unexplained experiences from across Oregon. She shares reports of mysterious tree knocks while hiking near Scappoose, unsettling nighttime footsteps outside her home on Sauvie Island, possible vocal exchanges she once believed were owls, and recent activity near her current rural property bordering miles of forest. She also reflects on childhood camping trips near Mount Hood and how those memories have taken on new meaning. This conversation explores what happens after a life-changing encounter, how personal perspectives evolve over time, and why protecting the wild places of the Pacific Northwest has become even more important to her.Listen to the Podcast -

Sara joins the show to give us an update on what is going on the Browns property including encountering a small creature on her roof. She wasn't the only one to see it, her neighbor reported seeing the same creature on her roof. Sara Brown grew up in the suburbs of Olympia and had never given Sasquatch a second thought until she moved to the Chehalis Indian Reservation in 2012. What began as her husband Jonathan's family stories about footprints outside his great-grandfather's smokehouse became more than a decade of firsthand documentation audio recordings of speech, whistles, and vocalizations; a two-minute thermal video; a 16.5-inch track cast now held by Cliff Barackman at the North American Bigfoot Center; and a daylight photograph she didn't discover until nearly a year after taking it.
