Kentucky 1900 - Wild Man Caught in Wolf Traps
Trogluddite posted a topic in More Historical Newspaper Archives
Published in The Rock Hill (SC) Herald on June 20, 1900. Aside from the question of how a man survives having his nose and one hand caught in separate wolf traps and lives to tell about, the wild man is covered in hair and has nails on his hands and feet like talons of an eagle. One has to wonder if those questioning the wild man heard words where just guttural sounds were uttered. - Today

Unknown 1900 - 4-Foot Tall Wild Man Captured
Trogluddite posted a topic in More Historical Newspaper Archives
Published in The Orangeburg (SC) Times and Democrat on February 7, 1900. There are several Mount Washington's in the United States but I see no way of distinguishing which was the scene of this story. The determination that the wild man was from South America seems suspect. -
Minimum Arms to Carry in Different Circumstances

But they have come for the machine guns. Specifically in 1934 and 1986 The Firearm Owners' Protection Act (FOPA) of 1986 "The Act also contained a provision that banned the sale to civilians of machine guns manufactured after the date of enactment, restricting sales of these weapons to the military and law enforcement. Thus, in the ensuing years, the limited supply of these arms available to civilians has caused an enormous increase in their price, with most costing in excess of $10,000. Regarding these fully-automatic firearms owned by private citizens in the U.S., political scientist Earl Kruschke said "approximately 175,000 automatic firearms have been licensed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (the federal agency responsible for administration of the law) and evidence suggests that none of these weapons has ever been used to commit a violent crime." -

What happens when a fly fisherman ventures into the quiet lakes of Washington — and ends up in the middle of a scream-filled nightmare? In this gripping episode, we reconnect with Ted, the mysterious second witness from the infamous Deadman’s Lake encounter. What began as a peaceful solo fishing trip during elk season in 2004 turned into a night of terror — a chilling, high-pitched scream shattered the silence, followed by eerie owl sounds and unexplained stomping just beyond the tent. Ted, a longtime musician from Portland with a deep sensitivity to sound, breaks down what he heard — and why it still shakes him to this day. You’ll hear about his other strange experiences across the Pacific Northwest, including Mildred Lakes, Estacada, and the shadowy trails near Mount Hood. Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer, this episode reminds us: the forest is never truly silent. 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? Me, neither. But I've had livestock that shunned it's own species to hang with other species. There are also almost unlimited number of cases of female animals nursing and raising other species. There are documented cases of young humans being raised by dogs, wolves, big cats, and even an ostrich and gazelles. When the Zana genetic tests came back as homo sapien, I delved into some study of feral humans. Wow. I concluded with the realization that at least part of the sasquatch phenomenon can be accredited to feral people...........just like Zana was believed to be an Almas. With that in mind, I wonder if native children, stolen and raised by sasquatches, became sasquatches.............just like the aboriginal legends claim?

Totally shocked. Had the honor to eat supper with him in Gardner, Montana one night during a tracking course he presented with Jim Halfpenny. He was such a gracious and humble man. May he rest in peace.

Machine guns have been regulated in this country since 1934. They cannot be sold without prior having obtained permission from the chief law enforcement officer in the county of residence, fingerprints, and extensive background search. Firearms generally available in local gun stores are not fully-automatic machine guns, but rather semiautomatic, firing one round with each separate trigger-pull. I hope that answers your question. -

One day the public will have definitive proof of Bigfoot. If this happens Jeff Meldrum will be viewed as a visionary. It will be mentioned how he was ahead of those colleagues who lived in his times. He became respected even among those who were skeptics and essentially modernized the study of Bigfoot. There will be a Meldrum- Patterson wing of the Smithsonian. RIP
