I have packed mules in country that steep. Albeit not on the side of a volcano. But in the Salmon River canyons in Idaho. I have looked past my left tapadero and was looking at the river a 1000 ft below me. I had good mules and trusted them completely. Grand times!

Yeah, respect to them to be sure. But ****, thin line between bravery and being nuts and that to me is NUTS. After reading about it, seeing the video, and talking to Marc personally about it one on one... I am firmly convinced that if the Sasquatches didn't get them, that mining site would have. Hell, I think Marc is nuts half the time for going down there repeatedly. Eventually the odds are not going to be on your side.

Bigfoot is definitely flesh and blood but there is also a supernatural part of Bigfoot that has been observed by many including myself. I'm pretty sure that I experienced mind speak while I was sleeping out under the stars over by Prospect Oregon which is north of Medford. After cutting wood all day we camped out without a tent and during the wee hours of morning, I was awakened and looked into the face of a Bigfoot about 50 feet away. The only reason why I woke up is probably because Bigfoot telepathically spoke to me. BFF does have a section for discussing the paranormal activities of Bigfoot. I had two other paranormal experiences with Bigfoot which caused me great concern, unbelief and a reason to stop pursuing Bigfoot. I couldn't understand what had happened in both cases and for some reason I became very discouraged and just quit researching Bigfoot

The TLDR answer is that there is a government cover up now as far as to why there is a government cover up no one knows exactly. All the responses in this Thread are conjecture. Some have fallen for the ufo propaganda backed by the government but any Sasquatch cover up is probably because if the government acknowledged Sasquatch as a species and recognized it the government would have to gIve them protections. again that’s conjecture.

Tex writes "I am currently serving in the United States Army as an Airborne Infantry soldier with the 82nd Brigade, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Growing up, I had several strange experiences in the woods moments that didn't make sense at the time but, looking back now, could very well be connected to Bigfoot or Sasquatch. My most significant encounter, however, occurred in January of 2025 during a field training exercise with my basic training company at Fort Benning, Georgia. What happened wasn't a single sighting, but encounters with what I believe were three separate beings possibly a small family group of Sasquatch inhabiting the forested outer edge of the base. I'd heard plenty of stories about unusual activity on Fort Benning and other military installations, but I never imagined something like this would happen to me especially not with a witness alongside me. During one night in our patrol base, we had contact with two large entities. We fired blank rounds, and things quickly escalated into complete chaos. The following day, while conducting a patrol as a two man team, my buddy Hal and I encountered something large, upright, and covered in shaggy dark reddish-brown hair. It was partially concealed behind a tree at our 10 o'clock position, approximately 50 meters away, watching us as we slowly backed toward our patrol base. We both knew exactly what we had seen. We agreed not to say anything to the rest of the squad at least until our Drill Sergeants called us in for a serious, in-depth conversation. Some of the things they said and implied made it feel as though they already knew what was out there and wanted the incident kept quiet. Good topic, georgerm. I see no other explanation than that they are supernatural, i.e. 'of a manifestation or event attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or, (our) laws of nature'. In the past, I know that it has been the official opinion of the BFF that Bigfoot are a flesh and blood creature, along the same lines as humans, gorillas, giant squid, rhinoceros, etc. etc., many animals of which were initially scorned by the know-it-all mainstream (that denies all of which it does not understand). I don't know if that is still the official BFF stance. However, I see Bigfoot as being different even from those examples. To me, the evidence that they exist, in some dimension, is realistically undeniable. And, I hope that no Bigfoot is ever in a zoo and I really don't think that any current zoo could ever contain one.

When I stumbled across the name "the Noxie monster" of Oklahoma, it didn't occur to me that I might find more fulsome reports elsewhere. This appears to be the first report of the monster; it was published in The Hays (KS) Daily News on September 4, 1975.

First, the policy of discouraging discovery can be pinned on dead guys...........policymakers who decided this decades (up to a century or more) ago. Those who finally disclose end up heroes. Secondly, yes, there are piles of issues that government keeps close to its vest. This is both wise and expected, and they can defend those decisions, even if you or I as individuals disagree strongly. Thirdly, yes, disclosure itself is a can of worms that supports continued silence, especially if they think they have morality on their side...........or can make a reasonable stretch toward that defense. Finally, I have actually come to believe that ignorance of these creatures by the vast majority of people IS the wise policy. Do you want to destroy something? Let everybody know it exists. People will screw it up pronto. Guaranteed.
