My YT channel and my only video on BF...

This video was great! I wish you would have shown your tracks and how much you were sinking in, though. Even though conditions could have changed the last day or so since the tracks were made. But, the fact that those BF tracks were sinking in twice as deep as the surrounding deer tracks, with a much larger surface area, tells me that the BF was significantly heavier than the average whitetail deer of about 130 lbs. I would guess at least a 400lb creature. I'm 6'2" with a size 13 foot, and my footprint is 10" long; very close to the track size you found. I weight just under 300lbs. So definitely a juvenile BF of about the same height could easily weight another 100lbs with all the muscle mass they are known for. Wow! Great find!

I first heard about the biography Forty-four years of the life of a hunter being reminiscences of Meshach Browning, a Maryland hunter in SASQUATCH/BIGFOOT CHRONICLE & Other Unrecognized Relict Hominoids & Wild Men Earliest Reports to 1899 by Christopher L. Murphy (Unpublished). The clippings are from a free version of the book found in the Open Library at https://openlibrary.org/books/OL6775713M/Forty-four_years_of_the_life_of_a_hunter. The stories are found on pages 224 to 225 and pages 228 to 229. The first incident appears to fall far short of being a possible Bigfoot encounter, although the second incident could be vocalizations. This could be another good read for history buffs and hunters.

This article published in The Macon (GA) Telegraph on May 31, 1889, appears to be the earliest version of this story. This specific version appeared in a column labelled "Round About In Georgia" and recounts two separate incidents that occurred in "the early history" of Habersham County, Georgia. However, the first incident appears to have occurred in Oconee County, South Carolina.

Red writes "On August 17th, 2023, I was camping with a close friend In Stephen's state forest in south central Iowa, not far from the Missouri border. It is very remote for the Midwest in that area. There are no electrical lines in this particular forest, so no lights. My friend and I got into the forest at dusk and set up camp. We saw no vehicles as we drove through the forest and the campsite we stayed at was completely empty. Twenty minutes or so after setting up camp, we heard an incredibly loud sound from the northwest corner of the camp. It was so loud it made us both jump and all of my hair immediately stood on end. The sound was like a howler monkey whooping, but it sounded like it was the size of a minivan. Immediately after this, about 150 feet south of us in the tree line, another noise happened. It sounded like Babe Ruth was in the forest slamming a bat against a tree. There were 6 whacks or knocks. They came in 3 successions of twos. Knock knock. Knock knock. Knock knock. That night we got chased out of the campsite by 3 or 4 of these creatures. It kept me out of the woods for a long time. I would love to tell you the whole experience." Listen to the Podcast

I think it's just that the winter is usually very quiet for the community due to the challenges of being able to access the woods due to snow. Would love to know your YT channel, though! My own personal journey of trying to discover evidence of the existence of BF has led me to conclude that BF is likely connected to aliens and UFO phenomenon due to hundreds of accounts of UFO and alien activity associated with BF sightings. It's not where I wanted to go with my beliefs, but the overwhelming evidence and lack of evidence is narrowing the possible explanations.
