Evidently you do. Science does this all the time. With bones, with flesh, with hair. 🤷‍♂️ -
Interview With Hunter Who Mistakenly Killed A Sasquatch

Fake. The plastic fantastic was bankrolled by an entertainment company. The end result was guessing about Patty based upon a 16mm film, guessing about Neanderthals and tossing in Giganto. The skull was: from hiflier on 09-08-2023; "Meldrum used Dr. Grover Krantz' reconstruction of a Gigantopithcus skull that Krantz had created using its jaw fragment size as a basis for sizing the head and sagittal crest. Krantz then used his knowledge of Gorilla skulls to proportion the rest of it. That's what's on top of the 8' tall 3D-printed skeleton.". Way to go hiflier! To me, Giganto was a giant panda. I have not wasted much time on the movie prop, so post about the length of the Calcanus. Does it have a bacula? No bacula, then it is Matilda's really big sister. Credentials, credentials? I don't need credentials. - Today

A definite classic! I have been on the hunt for property in NW WA for a while. -
When it comes to Bigfoot a “body on a slab” would be 100% convincing. (Obviously this assumes the public would have access to it). At its best, Great Bigfoot DNA doesn’t seem like it’s even suggestive let alone convincing. The thread posts tell me no matter how good the sample process, analysis, and results it is not a home-run like I would think. I know many of you are very knowledgeable and I appreciate the posts. After all these thread responses I’m just getting the impression it’s too complicated for any potential payoff on the Bigfoot issue. Paternity DNA = Convincing Sample in the woods = Pretty convincing if the sample proves to be an antelope or a dog. suspected Bigfoot DNA. = Not definitive/ open to various interpretations Keep up the good work guys. This issue is worthwhile but I think m moving on to other threads for a while. This DNA issue is giving me a headache.

I was about 8-10 years old when my dad and I climbed up onto our mountain in search of a Christmas tree for mom. We were walking a logging road, with my dad cutting trail through the deep snow, when a set of tracks came off the bank and was ahead of us on the road. They were just big oblong punch marks. No details. But what stood out was that whatever it was, was walking cleanly through the snow. Dad was pushing snow with his thighs and our track looked like cross country skiing. This creature was not dragging its feet. It was walking cleanly through deep snow. These tracks were BIG. I have tracked Moose and Elk and Bear in snow. It was none of those things. Plus it was December so Bears should be taking the big nap by then. After following these tracks for aways? My father abruptly turned to me and said “we are getting out of here”. Our ranch is in Stevens county Washington, 30 miles from the Canadian border, and 15 miles from Bossburg Wa. The site of the famous “Bossburg tracks”. -

Back in 2012, I exchanged whistles and knocks with something in the woods at my kids summer camp out in the Oregon woods. In 2018, my old dog and I kept finding frosty, barefoot prints at a lake. It intrigued me mightily. I met up with Tobe Johnson, and he taught me a few things about the species. For the next several years, NorthWind and I tramped all around the Oregon woods, eventually seeing two on FLIR on July 5, 2020 and one in a daylight, distant sighting in October 2020. I've spent this summer honing my backpacking and kayaking skills in preparation for multi-day adventures soon, and have upgraded some equipment. I used to care what people thought about my sightings, print finds, and audio, but now? Well, they exist and I've seen them. That's reality, and if someone can't acknowledge that or understand it, then that's on them; not my problem. They are free to believe what they wish, but I KNOW. -

Saw "Bigfoot" in the mid-70s in The Six Million Dollar Man and In Search Of; even did a creative writing story on Bigfoot (in 6th grade) at that time, and then completely forgot about the topic for 40 years. Happened to have free time and available mental energy to become interested again in the early 2010s when Legend Meets Science and Finding Bigfoot came on the air. Was bewildered that the basic question (is it all a hoax or do they exist) wasn't resolved after 40 years. Just got pulled down the rabbit hole from there. I don't ever expect to encounter one; heck, I couldn't even encounter a moose or bear in two weeks in Alberta. Currently a skeptical believer after having compiled a lot of data that constantly fits into bell curves and doesn't fit into typical fraud patterns (except for a few clear frauds) and interviewing a witness or two. I would probably put the actual number of "true" encounters at 25% of those reported by people to websites. I hope to add something to the pile of evidence that is of use to others. -

When I was kid, we would grab a sleeping bag, 22s, bologna and bread and sleep all summer down there coming homing home for ta few days and then back down. -
I would love to read Mashkovtsev's and Porschnev's original story to find out how many actual witnesses were interviewed or documentation there was from the era.

It’s especially interesting since her DNA, doesn’t say she is a Gorilla. I would call it “artistic expression”. The painter obviously was trying to make her look like something she was not. A bona fide photograph would put this to rest I think.

^^^ This for me. I would love to observe one with binoculars or spotting scope for a minute or five. Hearing chatter or other vocalizations would be cool as well. I'm not sure that I'd like to sleep the night in a tent in the vicinity of a sighting, though. It's the same feeling I have about sleeping in a tent on Kodiak Island. I'm just not going to do it. -
What has been posted that is not accurate? I have read both the Sykes and the Margaryan studies. Interesting nose, no? Also, there is no extraordinary hairiness in the pic. Perhaps it was long after her capture and domestication and she was groomed?

It’s always been my understanding that is a painting. A portrait of her likeness.

The one I saw never did the Samurai Chatter, but it made an OOOOMPH sound several times before I saw it. It struck me as strange because the "MF" sound is not something a bear would make, and certainly not a deer. I chalked it up to someone else in the area being a nuisance. I would love to hear the Samurai Chatter. Thanks for sharing. -

There is a song by Apollo Ghosts about a friend of their's how actively looks for sasquatches. Not my favorite, but it seems rare to hear a song about them.

I grew up on a country road where at least one sasquatch spent a lot of time at. We would hear screams, roars, samurai chatter and have strange encounters. During one such encounter my brother saw it. He said it looked like a man in a bear suit floating through the brush. By judging the brush and flora it was in, it had to be about 9 feet tall. I also found an out standing hunting area, especially for elk. Had all the classic type "B" encounters with my hunting partner seeing one during an encounter I was having. I had two encounters outside of those areas. I don't care who believes or not and I really don't care if they are ever "discovered". I would like to see one, so I can be a knower, putting all shadow of doubt to rest no matter how slight that doubt is. If they are discovered, my reaction would be; oh, ok and move on. It would not be earth shattering to me. It would be more like finding a Jaguar in Northern California to me. Shocking to an extent and interesting. -
A lot has been said here about Zana, not all of which is accurate. Everyone should read the attached definitive article on the genetics, which goes way beyond the Sykes study.Advanced Genetics - 2021 - Margaryan - The genomic origin of Zana of Abkhazia.pdfAdvanced Genetics - 2021 - Margaryan - The genomic origin of Zana of Abkhazia.pdf

My feeling about the P-G Film is that there is no way it could have been faked in the 60s. The technology just didn't exist. Then Jimmy Chilcutt, the police officer and latent print expert's opinion on the dermal ridges extant in some prints, plus the seminal work by Drs Krantz and Meldrum...I could take the case into court and get a positive finding with all that. Plus...I saw one....so, there's my own eyewitness testimony to myself. I appreciate your reply. I really enjoy the discussion of the topic, even if there are differences of opinion. -
