I Know I'm Beating A Dead Horse But Bigfoot Deserves Better
MIB replied to CatskillCrawler's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
Yeah, unless we're missing something .. and I don't think we are. I think belief in the existence of that something is inseparable from believing there's a coverup / conspiracy. I haven't seen evidence of either. I do know a couple people who were bigfooters in the older days, 70s, who swear their homes were "gone through" and their evidence taken, report encounters with MIBs (sorry, I wasn't old enough yet), and so on .. but I also know they were doing illegal substances including 'shrooms and acid in those years. What weight do you put on the accounts told by people who were admittedly using hallucinogens? I don't dismiss it entirely but the ol' eyebrow-of-doubt is substantially elevated .. verbal account, taken by itself, falls short of extraordinary proof y' might say. -

The Thing That Screamed Back: A Maryland Sasquatch Story
BFFbot posted a topic in Bigfoot Society Podcast
What happens when a lifelong outdoorsman from Eastern Maryland starts noticing signs he can’t ignore — screams in the dark, gliding figures in the powerline fields, and a fox that seems more like a sentry than an animal? In this gripping and emotional episode, we sit down with Derek, a listener from Easton, Maryland, who shares his incredible decade-long journey into unexplained encounters near his home. From his first terrifying experience at age 11 to sightings of 13 distinct beings — including one with Down Syndrome features and a childlike face — Derek’s story unfolds like a living mystery. You’ll hear firsthand accounts of silent movement across powerlines, glowing eyes in the marsh, and the eerie moment his dog refused to go any farther. Along the way, Derek reflects on the spiritual side of these experiences and how they’ve transformed his understanding of the world. Locations include the Choptank River, Talbot County, Royal Oak, and the Shenandoah Valley. This isn’t just another Bigfoot story — it’s a haunting testimony of belief, ridicule, and the search for truth in the woods. MIB I couldn’t agree more. Perfectly said. All I’m saying is Bigfoot doesn’t reach that level. Some other things do. -

That depends on the thing, on the value, thus their motivation. Killing to keep something quiet has to be of considerable value to make it worth the risk. -

USDA to cut 112 million acres of national forest
DirtRoadYaya replied to RedHawk454's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
Being Loggers by trade, I am happy to see our own resources being put to use. Also as someone lives very near the unmanaged forested land I am also grateful. I only can speak to my own area and experiences. I really don't believe it will impact Bigfoot here. We have so much wilderness and Park lands that there is plenty for both. JMHO. I have to remember when forming opinions only know what I know and don't know what I don't know. -
I signed up in 2021 but was busy and did not come back often. So I am reintroducing myself! My grandbabies call me Yaya. We live in the Central Sierras. I have not seen a bigfoot and I do not have to see to believe lol. Thank you!

I Know I'm Beating A Dead Horse But Bigfoot Deserves Better

That’s easy. “They” are the shadow government. They are not elected, they will never sit in front of a Congressional hearing, they operate on black budgets, and they operate in complete secrecy and deniability. Their currency is intelligence and leverage. How much surveillance does 37 trillion dollars buy? And that’s just what’s on the ledger. -

I said among other things in the post: "People in power would kill to keep it quiet" You asked, "What proof do you offer that this has happened?" I will be glad to reply at length if you are serious. I would rather not take the time as I assumed most agreed with was pretty self-evident. To save time can you just answer this: Do you believe People in power would kill to keep something quiet?" [ X ] Yes ? [ ] No ? -

I agree 100%. I still think the issue here is how we define who are "They" -

Where can I see these documented reports ? This is done secretly and yet we all know about it? Isn't that a bit like the glass that can dissolve all substances in the universe but somehow doesn't dissolve the glass holding the liquid itself? I had read the Navy had experimented with trying to train dolphins for various tasks even attempting to have them turn into killer attack dolphins to protect our ports and bays. If the US Miliary could do the same with Bigfoot I am sure they would. I just don't believe it in this case. Couldn't this be they just don't want non authorized people going where they are not supposed to regardless of the motivation of the intruder? #1 I appreciate your efforts to answer my questions. #2 I just don't see the issue of Bigfoot the same way you do. I am not saying I am right or wrong. I just don't see it that way. I could be very wrong. I really don't know. If what you say is true, then the behavior you attributed to the government makes some sense to me. -

Howdy all, and hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Haven't been hiking much and is driving me insane, still a one-eyed jack and felt it was too dangerous, especially since I am always alone....all you serious hikers out there know how precise your footing needs to be, and it's just slightly off with 1 eye....but have adjusted my hikes, going slower, and have eliminated any climbing, plus my eye is adjusting....finally! Here are a few pics coming out of this remote Spring, and have shown many prints over the years at this spot. The 3rd pic was at a sighting location I was called out to, and is a Wolf Sanctuary that has been getting nightly visits. The last 2 pics really blew me away......I haven't used glass peanut butter jars in 15+ years, and found this one about 2 miles from my gift location, and in thick brush, amazing!

What happens when two retired law enforcement officers move to the mountains of North Georgia — and encounter something they can’t explain? In this unforgettable episode of Bigfoot Society, Jeremiah Byron sits down with Scott and Sheila Granger of Squatch-Fishing Outfitters to unpack a whirlwind of strange events, from whoops in the night to a full-on bluff charge in the woods. You’ll hear how a single Bigfoot expedition turned a skeptic into a believer, what happened when rocks started flying at their campsite, and why their own home may be ground zero for Bigfoot activity in Georgia. With stories from Ellijay to Rabun County, this episode dives deep into one of the most active Sasquatch regions in the country — and the couple who now leads others into the mystery. Whether it’s tree knocks, growls, clicking sounds, or a Bigfoot who mimics “shave and a haircut,” you won’t want to miss a second of this mind-bending tale from the southern Appalachians.
