  2. It's easy to Google, FBI etc. Basically it is 1976-1977 correspondence between Peter Byrne and the FBI on "hair evidence." There's nothing new, only that the "hair" is "not a known animal." Happy Holiday Season: Joe here Ps: Much later.

Is the Bigfoot Forum losing interest?

I asked for your opinion. What is your opinion on the question I posed?
  4. I think we are all participating in a fringe subject and it’s wise to remember that. We are all fools in the eyes of science. And there is only one path forward to reverse the table.
  5. I believe it happened in 1924? There is a good chance they were using brass shotgun shells. Card board shotgun shells swell in high humidity (Cascades) and plastic shotgun shells were not a thing until the 1960s.
  6. All of them? Even the shotgun shells that would have been stepped on in the dark of the night ?

Is the Bigfoot Forum losing interest?

Do you think people who mimic the sierra sound calls are fools?
  8. I disagree. I think the Sierra sounds, sound like uncle Buck in the bushes. But many people think there is something there. Which is fine. The crux of the issue is that when some researchers are repeatedly outsmarted by Sasquatch? They begin to attribute supernatural powers to it. To explain away why they cannot go out and find it in the woods. The same thing happened in feudal Japan with the Ninja. I am not casting aspersions. I am simply demanding proof. You’re in a hunting camp in the Sierras. And for many years, each year many of these things approach camp close. So close that the hunters build themselves a stockade in order to feel safe. And the best you can do to provide proof is audio recordings? What will NEVER be proof to science. 1) Video 2) Audio 3) Plaster casts 4) Stories What is considered proof. 1) Hair 2) Saliva 3) Bone 4) Flesh 5) Scat The simplest way to navigate this subject going forward is to demand proof. That’s how you separate the wheat from the chaff. I am not saying you completely discount video or audio or tracks, etc. But real tangible proof should be the end goal. Otherwise we are literally chasing ghosts. And nothing will ever come of this.

Is the Bigfoot Forum losing interest?

It's amazing how many people use Morehead's recordings of Sasquatch calls as their own calls. I've heard MANY researchers try to emulate those noises. But when it comes to believing the rest of his story, its too abstract for them. Pretty funny to me. Logically, if the calls are real, the rest of his story is too. Now, you don't have to believe his interpretation, as its just a theory, but the same people who cast aspersions on the outer edge theories of this topic are still in the woods mimicking Ron's calls.
  10. At the same time that a gorilla was terrorizing Idaville and months before a gorilla invaded Gettysburg (see earlier posts), there was an outbreak of gorilla sightings near the town of Rouzerville, Pennsylvania, a small town in Franklin County about 20 miles to the southwest of Gettysburg. I first encountered some of these stories in Timothy Renner's Bigfoot in Pennsylvania. The first story is from The Gettysburg (PA) Times on January 28, 1921; the second is from the same paper on February 1, 1921; and the last story (for now) is from the Centre Daily Times of State College (PA), published on February 05, 1921.
  11. When Bryce Edwards was growing up on his family’s 642-acre farm, in Southern Illinois, his grandmother told him a story that made his jaw drop. She told him about the time when she saw what she called a Honey Bear come out of the woods, across the road from where she’d been sitting. She was sitting in her front yard, at the time, with Bryce’s father and his brother when the Honey Bear came out of the woods. When she saw it, she grabbed Bryce’s dad and his brother, ran inside with them, and hid in a closet until Bryce’s grandfather came home from work. That happened 60 years ago. Fast forward to present day and Bryce has had experiences with them of his own. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to him share his experiences. Need Help In Central Texas.........

I should have put these 3 pics together with a better explanation.....the stick A-frame in the first pic appeared one day recently by the Spring in the 2nd pic, and the 3rd pic is a trail probably leading to one of their sleep areas, and no I don't go there and respect their privacy...this Spring is one of the few places that will still hold water, even during droughts.

    Need Help In Central Texas.........

Howdy everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! I got my Xmas miracle a week ago, I've been blind in one eye with a detached retina for a year & a half, and my 3rd surgery worked, praise God! To answer your question above Geogerm, the last 20 years I have been following what I call 'Urbanfoots', who come into my small town every night looking for food, all the other predator's are doing the same thing, lots of fat well fed deer in particular, pets, trash cans, dumpsters....there's more wildlife in town than in the woods lol. I found the trails they use, plus they use a lot of mine that I have bush-whacked over the years. They seem to trust me as I don't put any surveillance equipment out there, and only briefly stop a take quick pictures, it's crazy how many impressions I find! Here are some resents since July from all the rain we got in central Texas.

Topics Include: • Bigfoot encounters in Lane County & Shotgun Creek • Sasquatch lifting a car during a late-night drift run • Gold prospecting encounters in Myrtle Creek • Warm Springs reservation treaty lore & warnings • How Oregon wildfires may be pushing Bigfoot into new areas • Paranormal activity across the Pacific Northwest 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? 16. Ron Morehead seems like a really nice guy. But he is not a physicist. Neither am I. But I do have a basic foundation of knowledge. Converting matter into energy. Yes. Thats true. E=mc2 We have fission. Thats a nuclear bomb. Or a nuclear power plant. Highly radioactive. Atoms are split and energy is released. We have fusion. Thats our sun. Under intense gravitational forces it combines hydrogen atoms to produce photons aka sunlight. We have never recreated it on earth. And at Cern they are accelerating matter and antimatter particles at ridiculous speeds and colliding them which releases energy and new particles. None of this is particularly healthy to biology up close and personal. But at a distance like say from the sun to the earth? Its a key element in life. In fact a flower converts photons into sugars that builds matter. It’s called photosynthesis. This is how plants grow on earth. Absolutely none of this is revolutionary. But it’s also not applicable to a biological creature cloaking itself at will. I.e. Hiroshima’s “little boy” bomb was 141 lbs of enriched uranium. An 800 lbs Sasquatch would destroy 5 large cities every time it converted itself from matter to energy. And of course vaporizing itself in the process. And irradiating a very large area as well. This idea of converting mass to energy and back to mass again sounds conspicuously like the transporter room on the Star Ship Enterprise. Its science fiction. And even then Capt Kirk needs the star ship and crew to complete the task. I have no idea where a 800 lbs Sasquatch would be hiding such advanced technology assuming that its even possible. Which by our current understanding of physics it is not. So I think this theory is dead on arrival.

  19. I watched the film and the thing I noticed was that they were using metal detectors and found a variety of artifacts. What they didn't find were shell casings. The story is they were shooting for hours during the siege . Which leaves me to believe either they are at the wrong site , or the siege at ape canyon was a fabrication

  22. Published in the Rochester (MN) Post-Bulletin on November 28, 1977, this article mentions early researcher Milton LaSalle from New York. UPDATE: Edited to add that in Bigfoot and Beyond's April 16, 2023 episode Rick Noll stated that Peter Byrne asked him to go to Little Eagle South Dakota to investigate an outbreak of Bigfoot sightings. Seems like this would be that outbreak!

The sole newspaper article I could find is the same one they used, The Olean (NY) Democrat article published on November 8, 1888.
