I wasn't expecting to change the minds of those who are ignorant of humans building such structures but then automatically assumed that it wasn't built by humans. https://www.outdoorrevival.com/old-ways/top-survival-shelters-you-can-build-without-survival-equipment.html https://bengordonoutdoors.com/how-big-should-a-survival-shelter-be/#Shelter_Design_Lifespan -

Your joking right?!! Lyle Laverty (USFS) Paul Freeman (USFS) Kathy Strain (California Parks) David Paulides (CA Cop and author of 411 books) Brian Gosselin (NY Cop) Seriously you need to go dig around, and see how many Federal employees, Cops, Military, etc have spoken out. -

That’s still not proof of any sort of cover up. That’s conspiracy theory. Show me a whistleblower talking about it. Show me government documents discussing it. Something credible. Not speculative theory. -

norseman replied to CryptidTalk's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
I have one. Lyle Laverty. It’s not a conspiracy. How do you go from a young forester taking photos of tracks at Bluff creek to the head of the USFS and never have a serious inquiry? Nothing. -

But is it different? If I am some hapless hiker do I really care if my face is being ripped off by a 800 lbs Grizzly or a 800 lbs Ape man? https://www.outdoorlife.com/survival/ed-wiseman-colorado-bear-attack/ Ole Ed probably would have appreciated a heads up. But the game dept is not going to say a thing. This is another reason I feel strongly about transparency and disclosure. They flipping work for us! -

So if this hasn’t been an issue in the past, there would be no reason for them to deny their existence then. You’re not citing any facts to support your case. You’re just making a sort of conspiracy claim. -

NorCalWitness replied to CryptidTalk's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
denying existence in a specific area to limit their liability is different than denying existence at all. I don't trust them either, just so you know we are on the same page there. It has never happened before. So, what is different about this creature? There are many reports of government interaction with them. -

What scientific campaigns are we missing?
norseman replied to CryptidTalk's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
All the time with controversial animals like predators. They will release a problem Grizzly into an area and then lie about it. Or they will admit the animals are there but lie about the population. They will also lie when your horse has been killed and it was clearly Wolves and you saw them and the officers will claim it’s a Cougar. I don’t trust a word they say. Not the state and especially not the Feds. - Yesterday

1) The government is not science. 2) Probably the same silly reason as aliens. The public cannot handle the truth. 3) They are already doing so in ufology. Keep beating on the walls until they fall. 4) See #1. 5) Really? Can you introduce me to some? Because I feel like the Lone Ranger all the time. I will take all the help I can get. Ego or no ego. -

Yeah im also not in the they are alien/inter dimensional camp either. They’re a normal, biological species like us. -

answer that question and you will finally understand what they really are. hint - its not a chimp. -
What scientific campaigns are we missing?
CryptidTalk replied to CryptidTalk's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
Yeah, I’m definitely not in that camp. Aliens, sure. But what benefit is there of hiding the existence of Bigfoot? -
What scientific campaigns are we missing?
NorCalWitness replied to CryptidTalk's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
1. the government already knows they exist. norse agrees. 2. because we agree that the government already knows about them, we can agree that there is a coverup going on, preventing disclosure. there is something profoundly societally impactful preventing disclosure and it's not about tourism dollars or lumber. 3. the coverup will prevent any efforts to prove their existence with a body by taking it, silencing people discrediting people and more. you can't beat the federal government on this one. 4. the fact that the government knows they exist makes it highly likely that they already have specimens. what has that done for disclosure? nothing at all 5. most of the people in the kill camp are in it for their own ego, not for science. not saying thats the case for everyone, but thats the average motivation. -

CryptidTalk replied to CryptidTalk's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
Going to have to agree with Norseman on this. There definitely are many benefits of them being recognized as a species. Habitat protections alone are well worth it. -
What scientific campaigns are we missing?
norseman replied to CryptidTalk's topic in General Bigfoot Discussion
Yes. There is many advantages for a species to be recognized by science.
