Q: Does anyone know if this is real? Does anyone know if the story behind this was investigated? I have seen this audio featured in a Bigfoot Documentary or two. It sounds pretty interesting. What effort if any has been done to investigate it? 911 can track who calls and from where. I didn't know if there was an effort from law enforcement (police report), local TV, or whatever to look into this further. The caller sounds pretty convincing and the call sounds pretty natural. Anyone know?

Excellent find. None of these seem likely because the A & B types paralleled each other. How about: - A rise and fall in the total number of BFRO reports published, independent of how many reports they've received? _ A natural biological fluctuation in Bigfoot population densities? - Are they nearing extinction? I recently explored BFRO report data and found this trend (chart below) in Class A (good evidence) and Class B (questionable evidence) reports interesting, particularly the primacy of Class B reports after around 2005. I'm curious about the forums' thoughts regarding factors driving this pattern. Was it: - change in the types of witnesses reporting encounters (probably due to greater access to Bigfoot information via the web) - change in BFRO investigators -- i.e., more critical investigators reviewing reports - change in BFRO protocols for classifying reports -- i.e., more stringent criteria for Class A - something else? Any other observations worth more attention? The decline in Class A & B reports after 2005 to levels last recorded in the 80s is intriguing, too. I would have thought the running of Finding Bigfoot (2011-2018) and then Expedition Bigfoot (2019- ) would correlate with more frequent reports rather than fewer. In this installment of Sasquatch Tracks, the team presents an update on the well-attended annual Ohio Bigfoot Conference, before taking a deep-dive into one of the most promising new analytical endeavors related to relict hominoid research, The Sasquatch Data Project. Joining us to discuss this ambitious effort is Terrestrial, the nom de plume of the data scientist behind The Sasquatch Data Project who in the past worked on NASA's Dawn Mission related to the study of the dwarf planet Ceres. Terrestrial has a Bachelor of Science in Earth & Atmospheric Sciences from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Blue Ridge Naturalist certification. According to her website, while working as an undergrad at Georgia Tech, she played an integral role in categorizing, identifying, and measuring ground-ice features on Ceres for NASA’s Dawn Mission, and first-authored a paper published in JGR: Planets, in addition to co-authoring several papers while working on this mission. Terrestrial tells us her interest in Sasquatch began at the early age of 5 and has only grown since. In 2023 she decided to retire as a professional Twitch gaming live-streamer and devote her time into creating the ultimate data resource to aid in the research of North America’s soon-to-be-known great ape, the Sasquatch. hi y'all my names josh, i have recently had an encounter with a sasquatch, i was on my commute home from work (i do work for a major oil company in aus), when suddenly i saw a silhouette of a large looking creature, it didnt look like a man. i was confused and exhausted from being out on the rig for the last week, but i made myself stop to check it out. keep in mind, up to this point i have never believed in anything superstitious, i dont believe in ghosts or aliens and i would consider myself a traditional rational man. But as i got out of my truck i looked off into the surrounding trees (off to the side of the highway) and i swear i saw a sasquatch, i cant explain it but it just stared at me with its yellow eyes. i went to snap a pic to show the lads, and it just runs off. i went home and told the misses and she didnt believe me, i tried with all my might to explain it to her and she just called me a whackjob and walked off. im been upset with her since, so i have a few questions for some experts (if their willing to help me out): - what are the possibilities that this creature was a sasquatch? - what can i say to the misses if she continues to doubt me? - is it worthwhile going back to the spot where i saw it? thanks in advance

Thanks for sharing this. I appreciate a good encounter story, even if it's secondhand. I wonder if BRFO would classify this as Class B (even if they heard it directly from Jason), since Jason never got a good look at whatever was following him. The way Chris explained what Jason did observe made the creature sound like a Predator (from the movie) -- just huge with fast, smooth movement through rugged terrain. I understand why some believe these creatures to be supernatural or otherworldly.

It's taken heroic means to save the Condor. It remains to be seen if we can save it long term or increase the population in future decades. It's a lot easier to trap or grab those last few condors in the wild and try to get them help they needed when they were almost extinct. This has helped. Moving on to Bigfoot: If Bigfoot exists, we have two types of pathways to try to save Bigfoot. 1) Save it because we would try to save any animal, snake, bunny rabbit or whatever. 2) Save it because it is some human like ape of a higher order so it's less moral to kill it or allow it to be killed off. Under either circumstance, I am of the opinion of Grover Kranz where he basically said science will only accept a body. If it is the last one, it was the last one anyway. I can see a scenario where someone shoots Bigfoot. After the news hype calms there is quick movement to save Bigfoot from killing as an assumed endangered species. In this way the death of one Bigfoot (Body on a slab) results in efforts to help the population and understanding long term.
