  5. This is a good full account, published in The Caledonian (Edinburgh, Scotland) Mercury on April 07, 1800. It does sound like a feral child, although interesting questions are raised.
  6. What happens when a Missouri landowner decides not to fear Bigfoot — but to befriend them? In this intense and emotional episode, we sit down with Dave, a rural homesteader from northern Missouri, whose property has become the stage for over a decade of Sasquatch encounters. From machetes mysteriously returned after use, to a Sasquatch peeking around the garage and petting his dogs — Dave shares astonishing firsthand experiences, including infrasound attacks, vocal mimicry, and sightings of multiple generations of these elusive beings. Plus, hear from Ryan in Virginia, who was followed by two towering creatures for 12 hours after getting lost in Shenandoah National Park — and the shocking confirmation from a rescue worker that “they’re out here.” This episode spans Missouri to Virginia, from playful encounters to terrifying confrontations. If you think Bigfoot is just a myth… listen to this. 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? 17. Another thought might go along the lines of sasquatch family behavior. In three kidnapping accounts in which the kidnapped person escaped that I know of, the sasquatches were in a family or group assembly. Among early man and even more primitive great apes, this might indicate the group taking care of the older generation, weak, or injured among them.
  18. That notion seems to lack imagination. Chasing down dinner is only one option. Ambush is another .. and doesn't take speed or endurance. Yet another is .. if you're somewhat nocturnal .. to wait for dinner to go to sleep, then sneak up on it. You should, if you want to get at the crux of the thing, think about all of the options, not just the stereotypical and obvious.

  20. I’m not saying it’s impossible for a primate to kill or eat a person. As I understood the Question, the issue was an old or injured Bigfoot. An old or injured Bigfoot would be limited on its ability to chase down the person, kill, and eat them. Also, if Bigfoot was hungry I just say it goes to what food available first. In about any animal (or people) I’m betting at some point about any living thing would eat anything in desperation.
  21. What happens when an Australian teacher builds a house in the wilderness — and finds out they weren’t alone? In this unforgettable episode, we travel to the Blue Mountains of New South Wales to meet Neil Frost, author of Fatfoot: Encounters with a Dooligahl. Neil's 50 years of research into Australia's three marsupial enigmas — the Quinkan, the Junjudee, and the Dooligahl — has led to chilling encounters, from guttural growls in scout camps to trees violently shaken in the moonlight. With engineering ingenuity, indigenous knowledge, and relentless curiosity, Neil and his neighbors formed a group called The Octopus to track the creatures roaming their bushland. You’ll hear about stolen baby clothes, eerie vocalizations, and the moment Neil realized something had been watching his children. From terrifying night thumps to an emotional goodbye with a familiar forest giant, this story reveals what happens when a family lives side-by-side with the unknown. 22. You are 100% correct. The NPS knew of his games over 13 years (not 8) in Kaflia Bay and allowed it to continue. So did the air taxi operator, who should have faced charges, AFAIC.
  23. And chimp infants.
  24. The video brings up one great point. Yes, we have no idea which bear actually killed them. And not all of the remains were recovered. But the bear(s) on the kill at the time paid the price. But it’s not like the bear in question didn’t have human inside its stomach. It did. Ultimately while Tim was a whackadoodle IMHO? It’s the park service that is ultimately to blame. Because they knew Tim well and didn’t stop his actions and enforce the park rules. Huntster probably has a lot more to say about this than I do. It’s in his backyard. And anything Griz related I would defer to him. I have had a few run ins with Griz down here but it’s nothing like Alaska. But I can tell you that your bacon and pancakes gets stuck in your craw when you leave the wall tent at Elk camp and there are fresh Griz tracks within 100 yards of the tent. I mean we cook, eat and sleep in a wall tent. You’re only getting one stove and one tent in there. So we are guilty. But I’ve bounced Griz before but was on horse back luckily. Here is a fairly recent event local. https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2024/jun/07/grizzly-bear-spotted-north-of-chewelah/
  25. thats the story I heard too, but then I started to hear rumblings about them killing the wrong bear.

We are on my wife’s parent’s place in Newport Wa. But on my family ranch where my kids live now? Yes. I witnessed a snow trackway as a kid in snow with my father. And the ranch is just south of Bossburg Wa where the cripple foot event happened about a decade earlier.

@norseman, your driveway pic looks like it's from the opening sequence to a Bigfoot horror flick starring Lance Henriksen. You ever see signs of Bigfoot moving through your property, or even a Bigfoot for that matter? ...or maybe Lance Henriksen?
