Happy New Year, Everyone! More from The Waynesboro (PA) Press, these stories from January 26, 1921. These were not mere backpage fill - both stories were front page along with the stories of a prominent local citizen, the hard economic times with 3,000,000 men out of work nationwide, a local newspaper editor being beaten up by eight men who "resented stories in his paper," and other serious stories.

Happy New Year, everybody! While following up on missing Tirademan articles, I located this article from The Sacramento (CA) Bee, published on October 8, 1958. Any guesses on who the road contractor was who insisted that the giant footprints were not a hoax? Also, I did not cut off the article headline - that's the layout in the paper.

If you are interested in observing Bigfoot there are some basic do's and don'ts that should be discussed. Now you have to decide how long of a forest hike that you're going to take, and will it be one, day three days camping out, or a month. Now if your goal is to observe a bigfoot, one of the important preparations is to read Bigfoot reports that are listed in the website called Bigfoot Research Organization or BFRO. Then another preparation you have to look at aerial photographs of potential forest to visit and find areas where there is dense tree and shrub cover and not a lot of open spaces since Bigfoot wants to remain elusive and only to be seen when it so desires for this to happen. I'd like to hear from others and to understand their opinions In a method of making an acquaintance with a Bigfoot. Making a play book might be important for those adventurers who would like to study and communicate with Sasquatch.

Well I spoke with the witness named Ray, and he said that when they were walking down the trail they first saw a stick structure that was disguised in the bushes, and it was big enough to hold a couple people . He said they looked inside this stick structure, and there was a tunnel in the floor but they didn't explore it because they were getting freaked out. They came out of the stick structure and Ray noticed some movement from behind a tree . They watched the tree and discovered a large hairy creature that was staring at them. This really freaked them out and Ray said they'd better get up the trail and head back to the car which is a 4 mile hike . He said they started walking back along the trail went along a steep hillside with tall Douglas fir trees on each side They looked back again and noticed the Bigfoot was following them . He said when he and his friend saw this creature tracking them, they began to run and ran about two miles up this trail back to the truck. As they ran, they kept looking back in a state of panic . As I said before, this happened when Ray was about 17 and he's now 50 years old, and he still remembers details about the traumatic incident. I asked him if he could find the area again and he said there are so many canyons in this general vicinity that he can't remember which one it was . I get the feeling that he really doesn't want to return to this area since when he was 17 it was a horror story. I still wonder if the Bigfoot was an outcast from the clan or was it a single young Bigfoot out on its own? Are there any questions that you want to ask Ray?

That is an huge revelation to me as well. They were all, surely, tough as nails to begin with.. just as surely as the trip to the mine and cabin were hard work, the work in the mine was even harder work. The walk to the water was tough and at night? Tough as nails or not, forget it. Whatever happened there, they weren't going anywhere in the dark either way.

Thanks for the reply Trog and your suggestion is well suited. Could you provide specific questions and I will answer then talk with Ray. I thought that those who so desire can discuss this topic and bring up discussions on PTSD, what bigfoot's intentions were all about, was bigfoot a bachelor that lived in a carved out tunnel, or even how what about any sightings from this area. Once the discussion ceases then moving it to the bigfoot report section under the Pacific Northwest would be more beneficial for the forum members. At this time the location will not be divulged since its a special research area that could be ruined if poor researchers disturbed the area. I would like a well suited group to camp there in the near by primitive campground. Winter or Spring camping would have advantages and disadvantages.

Ironically, the story didn't bother me 'til I watched the vid of the "expedition" to the site. With just how crazy steep that is, the whole thing takes on a whole new level of disturbing. Unless there was some other way off the mountain, downhill rather than from above, they were truly sitting ducks. It would take hours at best, in heavy brush, heavy cover, to climb out, requiring hands, not just feet, so no gun in hand, no hasty response possible, with potential ambush at every step. No joke a bad bad situation.
