  2. In the aftermath of the heartbreaking loss of Dr. Jeff Meldrum, we'd like to share this episode of our bonus show ("Beyond Bigfoot & Beyond"), originally recorded and released in March of 2023. Dr. Meldrum was a true pioneer in the field, and was a dear friend to Cliff and Bobo. He will be missed, and our hearts are with his friends and family. Listen to the Podcast
  3. Correct to a point. To be precise, in 1934 automatic firearms were no longer legal to possess without paying a tax and possessing a permit, and 1986 was the last year of automatic weapon manufacture which could be owned. This is more a legal closing of possession than government actually "coming for" them. I submit that the legal strangling is in every way an "infringement". I do understand and agree with the legal principle of registering and regulating ordnance and crew-served weaponry. We just can't allow every Joe Blow to have hand grenades, artillery pieces, or belt-fed machine guns. I'm not sure that a select fire rifle qualifies as such a weapon, but (after a century of fighting crime with such weapons involved), I consider it a struggle beyond my influence. I don't need an automatic rifle, and I am not interested in buying and stocking the quantity of ammunition such a rifle can burn up,. I've fired machine guns, and it was fun, but Uncle Sugar paid for every bit of it (even paying me to do it). I'm not going to invest in it.

Great videos PNWexplorer and BC witness. The views are magnificant and the approaches to the area amazing. It underscores how fortunate you both are to be sasquatching in the wilderness areas you go. Kindly keep up the great work you're doing.

That is very surprising and sad. He was a pioneer and quintessential professional dedicated to bigfoot research. RIP.

I disagree. I say that’s the right leg. But the point I am making is that the head and shoulder are entirely different on the Bear. And I do agree that the Jacobs creature lines up nicely with a Chimp.
  10. Published in The Akron (OH) Beacon Journal on July 29, 1985. Don Keating begins making his mark on the Bigfoot World. And I realize that 1985 is stretching the definition of "historical" but it 40 years now. I'm sure that some Forum members weren't alive then!
  11. Published in The Rock Hill (SC) Herald on June 20, 1900. Aside from the question of how a man survives having his nose and one hand caught in separate wolf traps and lives to tell about, the wild man is covered in hair and has nails on his hands and feet like talons of an eagle. One has to wonder if those questioning the wild man heard words where just guttural sounds were uttered.
  12. As I've already noted.
  13. Published in The Orangeburg (SC) Times and Democrat on February 7, 1900. There are several Mount Washington's in the United States but I see no way of distinguishing which was the scene of this story. The determination that the wild man was from South America seems suspect.
  14. But they have come for the machine guns. Specifically in 1934 and 1986 The Firearm Owners' Protection Act (FOPA) of 1986 "The Act also contained a provision that banned the sale to civilians of machine guns manufactured after the date of enactment, restricting sales of these weapons to the military and law enforcement. Thus, in the ensuing years, the limited supply of these arms available to civilians has caused an enormous increase in their price, with most costing in excess of $10,000. Regarding these fully-automatic firearms owned by private citizens in the U.S., political scientist Earl Kruschke said "approximately 175,000 automatic firearms have been licensed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (the federal agency responsible for administration of the law) and evidence suggests that none of these weapons has ever been used to commit a violent crime."

I would disagree because this is the left leg. Bear
  20. What happens when a fly fisherman ventures into the quiet lakes of Washington — and ends up in the middle of a scream-filled nightmare? In this gripping episode, we reconnect with Ted, the mysterious second witness from the infamous Deadman’s Lake encounter. What began as a peaceful solo fishing trip during elk season in 2004 turned into a night of terror — a chilling, high-pitched scream shattered the silence, followed by eerie owl sounds and unexplained stomping just beyond the tent. Ted, a longtime musician from Portland with a deep sensitivity to sound, breaks down what he heard — and why it still shakes him to this day. You’ll hear about his other strange experiences across the Pacific Northwest, including Mildred Lakes, Estacada, and the shadowy trails near Mount Hood. Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer, this episode reminds us: the forest is never truly silent. 🗣️ Share Your Story Had a Bigfoot encounter or strange experience? The Bigfoot harvest.

Me, neither. But I've had livestock that shunned it's own species to hang with other species. There are also almost unlimited number of cases of female animals nursing and raising other species. There are documented cases of young humans being raised by dogs, wolves, big cats, and even an ostrich and gazelles. When the Zana genetic tests came back as homo sapien, I delved into some study of feral humans. Wow. I concluded with the realization that at least part of the sasquatch phenomenon can be accredited to feral people...........just like Zana was believed to be an Almas. With that in mind, I wonder if native children, stolen and raised by sasquatches, became sasquatches.............just like the aboriginal legends claim?

Totally shocked. Had the honor to eat supper with him in Gardner, Montana one night during a tracking course he presented with Jim Halfpenny. He was such a gracious and humble man. May he rest in peace.
  27. Machine guns have been regulated in this country since 1934. They cannot be sold without prior having obtained permission from the chief law enforcement officer in the county of residence, fingerprints, and extensive background search. Firearms generally available in local gun stores are not fully-automatic machine guns, but rather semiautomatic, firing one round with each separate trigger-pull. I hope that answers your question.
