Yes, I am very surprised and disappointed that so many people can be duped, especially lately. Along with that though, I just don't believe that, if our Government had definitive proof of Bigfoot, extra-terrestrials, ghosts, etc., that they could collectively keep those things secret to the extent required for the current levels of 'un-discovery'. Something(s) exist which, in my opinion are, to date, beyond our ability to even comprehend.

When I watch and listen to a lot of the people in power these days, I wonder how they can even tie their shoes in the morning much less keep any secrets about a 10' tall primate. Hold on a sec. So, 'the rules' require killing a male and a female Bigfoot so they can be classified but then, if anyone harms another one, they should be hung? What if their clan doesn't understand why the puny humans killed two of their relatives and they start throwing giant rocks at cabins and ripping people's arms off? To me, it only makes sense to think this thru before even thinking about going out on a hunt to kill Bigfoot.

Oh you forgot a goal Huntster which is if bigfoot is regularly reported in a particular part of the forest then allow more timber sales and logging so the area can be heavily logged which requires new roads. Remember bigfoot is a mythical creature that doesn't need biological studies and reports.

I completely agree that it's a cheap hoax. I thought there was an earlier thread on this somewhere. As he appears to be showcasing his "find" at carnivals and such, there is no fraud that there would violate a criminal statute. He'd have to try to sell the "dead body" to someone as a genuine corpse.

1) Support behaviors and beliefs that makes as many people as possible believe the species to be mythical. 2) Limit access to areas where the species has its densest populations. 3) Don't discuss the issue officially, and if it comes up, ridicule it and remember Point #1. 4) Do not fund any research into the existence of said species.

Yes, protecting the bigfoot species in national forest is a 'must do' but when we look at how many acres bigfoot inhabits, effective protection could start the civil war over again between environmentalist and industrialist. How do we protect a rare primate species that probably lives and hunts in every remote forest with roads or no roads throughout the United States? 193 million acres of grazing land and forest is managed by the forest service, and 58 million acres is managed by the Bureau of Land Management and bigfoot probably has lived and hunted is many of those acres. Once bigfoot becomes a proven species, adequate protection may include fewer hunting permits and drastically reduced logging will be the fuse to dynamite that starts a new civil war. Do you remember the problems caused by the Spotted Owl? Will the industrialist win out and continue to rule over bigfoot's habitat? Once a live or dead bigfoot is brought in and recognized as a new species, this environmental conflict will probably start. The Forest Service and BLM won't be defining bigfoot as a mythical creature anymore and then what happens?

Hello! I'm Bray from Texas, and I have been interested in the Bigfoot subject since I was a kid. I am doing some personal research on the topic and creating a source for Bigfoot lore dumping for the Divas and Dolls. Since I've never seen a Bigfoot, I will enjoy reading encounters and finding resources for my studies! Thanks! Can't wait to explore!

My various feeds have been flooded by vids for this guy. Especially on Facebook. He has a new book. His website says he is starting a serious organization of BF researchers called the Bigfoot Research Organization (BRO),and he has this thing on display. To my eyes, its a laughable hoax and the body looks like the same thing Rick Dyer tried passing off. Thoughts on this guy and why aren't more stringent actions taken against hoaxers and frauds?

The second, from the The Odessa (TX) American on April 15, 1957; some newspapers reported the Soopa to be a bear, others, claimed that Soopa was the local word for abominable snowman. This newspaper article from The Bulletin of Bend, Oregon was published on August 28, 1975. For those who have downloaded John Green's database (posted elsewhere on the Forums), this is report number 1000279. John Green lists the actual encounter as having occurred in 1943.
