joebeelart Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Somehow I received a copy even though I was not an editor; so for now, just let me say this: This book is stunning in content, photographs, and production. Joe here 1 1 2
Wolfjewel Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I’m so happy whenever I read about a BFF member producing a book, or contributing to any prominent media. I think our folks are the real deal!
Trogluddite Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Jacket blurb? cost? I don't want to judge a book by its cover... 1
Trogluddite Posted Sunday at 02:59 PM Posted Sunday at 02:59 PM Yeah, never got that jacket blurb or cost estimate as requested so I went ahead and bought a copy blind. Wow. Wow, wow, wow, wowzy, wow, wow. This is about 240 pages of stuff crammed into 130 pages. It's like a behind the scenes documentary into the original research done on the P-G film combined with a reference book on all the aspects of the P-G film (location maps, film & camera background, key personalities, and events), and a sweet chocolate sundae with a cherry on top. Really hate to do this to everyone who hasn't bought a copy yet, but this book would be worth it at $35 or $40 a copy. Well done, very professionally set up, and a nice addition to any Bigfoot library except possibly a few of the old hands on here who have already forgotten about Bigfoot than I'll ever know. Bravo.* * Don't know DP from Adam and am not related to, employed by, or in any other way beholden to him. He just really knocked my socks off with this book.
Trogluddite Posted Sunday at 07:29 PM Posted Sunday at 07:29 PM Just trying to give this thread a bump so newer members and interested members see more about this book; really, its petty larceny to get this book for only $20.
