Just out of curiosity, can anyone cite a sasquatch report that includes any of the paranormal type factors *orbs, flying objects, lights in the sky, etc) that was reported prior to 1990?

So far as I know, not in a place where you, personally, could follow up and verify.   When I was investigating reports for a not-to-be-named group/site, I had access to the raw reports.   The woo stuff was in the raw reports but deliberately omitted from the published version the pubic had access to.   This was done in an effort to appear scientifically credible rather than bat "guano" crazy.   People seem a bit more willing to risk ridicule today.   Even Matt Moneymaker talks some about the woo in reports that go back decades now.  He was among the worst of the worst for filtering not so long ago.

MIB ,based on your extraordinary experience, do you believe your encounters were of a flesh and blood variety?

Did you get any indication of a possible paranormal experience?

Not poking fun based on ny reputation. I respect and believe you.

Fair question.    I like it!

The things I'm pretty sure of fall squarely in the realm of F&B: it is not necessary to invoke any assumption or belief in the paranormal to account for them.   I did not always see it this way.  I had no scientific way to account for most of the pieces.   Science papers (published) I've since found on the internet seemingly provide a way to account for those things.   Still, while the components are known and proven, no single organism that I know of has all of them.

I assume F&B but I can't outright reject the possibility of paranormal.  I keep an eye in that direction, whether I believe it or not, because if it were true, the implications are to large to ignore.   I don't intend to ridicule people who believe some things are paranormal, I just note that a lot of them don't seem to have taken time to really look hard into less .. astonishing .. explanations .. and prefer to jump to what seem to me to be unwarranted conclusions.

There is some weird stuff that SEEMS to have happened but it may be a matter of over-connecting dots that don't actually belong together.   I have to leave that over in the "shaky stuff" pile.   I don't want to discard it 'cause a couple more piece might make it fall into place such that it means something profound scientifically, yet I don't want to include it too much with what I'm fairly sure of and contaminate that with stuff which doesn't actually belong .. yet.   I call it segregated but not discarded.

An example: one of those things is apparent communication of information across longer distance in shorter time than we can account for with today's understanding.    Alternative could be changes in my perception such that no matter where I go, it SEEMS as if the info is there ahead of me but rather, it's just ME that is traveling.    Dunno.  Not totally comfortable with any answer.

I am firmly in the flesh and blood camp despite being a UFO “knower”. I know UFOs exist BUT I have no idea what they are.

But if UFOs represent an advanced alien civilization here on Earth? I would have to say? Anything is possible and may be indistinguishable from magic.

Hunter - The book "Silent Invasion" by Stan Gordon documents a lot of very unusual reports from western Pennsylvania in the early 70's. Major Bigfoot/UFO flap occurring there......here's 2 examples: (cliff notes versions)

1973  - Two girls were walking home near some woods and saw a 8' to 9' tall white bigfoot carrying a small glowing sphere in one hand. Father of one of the girls goes back to investigate, they hear him scream, he comes out of the woods looking very dazed. Tells the girls "Don't ever go back there again".

1973 - Steve Palmer case. Giant red orb was witnessed by 14  people land on a neighboring farm. Steve Palmer and 2 younger kids drove over to see what it was. When they arrive, the red orb  was now a huge white dome on the ground. Shortly thereafter they start hearing sounds like a baby crying, and two large Bigfoot creatures are seen shambling out of the nearby woods. One was slightly shorter than the other. They were walking along a barb wire fence, and the way they moved forward was strange. The larger of the two would walk only as far as the next fence post, then make the baby crying sound, and the smaller one which was waiting behind at the last fence post, would then move froward to join the larger one. The two younger kids become very upset, and Steve (who had brought a 30.06 rifle ) fired a couple of tracer rounds above  the larger creatures head. At that moment, the giant white dome on the ground simply vanished.

At this point the creatures turned and started moving back towards the woods, and Steve fired 3 shots (not tracers this time, actual bullets) and hit the creature at least once, with no sign that it harmed the creature.

A few hours later Stan Gordon and colleagues show up at farm to investigate. Steve takes them back to the neighbors farm where all this took place. Shortly after arriving, Steve begins to act very strange. He started growling, and let out an "inhuman scream" and became very combative, with several others trying to hold him down. Several other people there started feeling as if they were going to faint. Steve said during this episode, he was "shown visions of the world burning".

There's a LOT of really strange occurrences with this particular event, the report in the book is 18 pages long. So, here's just a few more items of interest. After the encounter, Steve began having many paranormal experiences in his life. He also had a visit by Men in Black regarding his encounter. Steve began to be able to predict future events to some degree, and it was also mentioned that he began to have a special connection with birds, whatever that means.

During this flap, there were also lots of 3 toed tracks found, and UFO's seen over a particular area, with Bigfoot activity commencing in that area shortly there after. Sometimes immediately.

Interesting accounts of orbs associated with BF type creatures abt the same time  as PG Film.  Bigelow's research documented events happening around the Uinta basin including nearby ranches to Skinwalker R.

Thanks for sharing book reference.
