RedHawk454 Posted Sunday at 04:00 AM Posted Sunday at 04:00 AM (edited) to be clear, I believe BiGFo0T is real. As in its a real animal and the government is covering up their existence for reasons that are unknown. But I’ve consumed so much cryptid content in the past 8 years or so that it’s become very obvious to me that most of it is made up now by people who make their livings doing this stuff. All the known names on are into the bigfooT lore for the money. Bob gymlan puts out interesting videos here and there but he is it. missing 411 ran it’s course. I’m not sure what Paulides is up to these days. The On The Trail of BigfooT documentaries are interesting. The On The Trail of BiGfooT Land of the missing was a good one. The documentary is about the aggressive nature of the Alaskan variety that actually seeks out humans to eat. These kindof behavior is extremely unusual for Sasquatch although the ape Canyon incident and the siege at Hanobia are incidents of aggressive Sasquatch encounters. if you haven’t I’d recommend checking out on the trail of bigfooT land of the kissing on Amazon prime. Even the director admits most of these stories could be explained by a more mundane cause but he remains open to the stories of the agressive Sasquatch in Alaska. but other than the few gems in the field the field most of the media surrounding Sasquatch is made up fantasy nonsense. It started off with Sasquatch but now there is dogman, pale crawlers, and other cryptids like little people and other nefarious things. It seems to me people figured out how to make the field of Sasquatch research and lore a lucrative industry. Edited Sunday at 04:05 AM by RedHawk454 2

For some the release is watching cryptid hunters on you tube. I suppose the Bigfoot topic gets old and creators have to branch out to keep their audience going. Expedition Bigfoot is about 2 weeks away. So I get to root for Dr. Mayor and her DNA collection methods again.👏🏻

It makes people both here and in our circles sick as we then get slapped with being in the " community " and therefore guilty by association. I personally will state on record that Expedition Bigfoot is entirely fabricated, that is my opinion. 4

She also has discovered a new species of primate in Madagascar. She is legit. Nothing against Bobo, but it beats watching him wear a dress to entice a Bigfoot….🤢
RedHawk454 Posted Sunday at 04:32 AM Author Posted Sunday at 04:32 AM (edited) I need to be more concise. The field started off with Sasquatch and then expanded to different variety’s of Sasquatch like the skunk ape variety. Then there are mountain giants, which are kindof like a Sasquatch but bigger. Much bigger. Like 20’ tall. Then dogman came around. To me it’s like people started getting high AF around their campfire at night and were telling scary stories and started pointing their pistols in the darkness at anything that made a sound. then there’s people who make YouTube videos about the 10 different types of Sasquatch and 7 different types of dog men. basically it’s like people got high, drunk, or tripped on dmt and claimed to have seen the craziest ****. RedHawk454 Posted Sunday at 04:51 AM Author Posted Sunday at 04:51 AM (edited) I’m a firm believer, not a knower though. Like a lot of believers on this forum I want to be “chosen” by them. I want to be the one that they choose to reveal themselves to. we can’t rely on tv shows or other media to confirm it’s existent. We need to Be out in nature and be lucky enough to have a specimen from the species “choose” is to know they are real and in fact, EXIST. Edited Sunday at 04:51 AM by RedHawk454 2
CelticKevin Posted Sunday at 06:24 AM Posted Sunday at 06:24 AM I am generally dissatisfied with most of the current "media" related for Sasquatch with the exception of the Bigfoot and Beyond podcast...and even that taxes me at times. i am looking forward to a STM production focusing on the Ape Canyon Incident and featuring Marc Myrsell and his extensive research. Marc is a solid researcher, very detail oriented (due to his profession), and a great guy. Had the privilege of listening to a talk he gave and talked to him for a long time afterwards. I understand Bobo has a couple of docs in production and should be out "soon". These should be fairly interesting, but I know Bobo can be given to some far out approaches and ideas. Les Stroud? Meh...the taint of Standing is ever lingering.... The last good book I read was The Phenomenal Sasquatch by Matt Pruitt. Took a more scientific approach than most and didn't dumb down the language which I appreciated. As for Expedition Bigfoot...ugh. Staged fakery and exaggerated evidence. Ranks right up there with that Mountain Monsters show to me. If the good doctor on the show is legit, I can only imagine later her scientific reputation will take a hit for being associated with the rest of the lot. 1
bipedalist Posted Sunday at 02:31 PM BFF Patron Posted Sunday at 02:31 PM I think Myrsell is/was refreshing too. Saw him present also. Think he runs an aquarium out near Ocean Shores. BF and Beyond went the premium pay route so not so enamored of them anymore, you gotta make a living I understand but the rehash gets old when you are a paying customer. Wish them luck, I still tune in on occasion. Bobo is Bobo, in small doses preferably, lol. Even though I had a highly irregular sighting I still cringe over many paranormal issues in the field even acknowledging the Skinwalker Ranch stuff is hard for me but I am faced with the evidence and where it leads. Pruitt is a good guy and was part of a team assisting me with a sighting locale prior to my sighting (I believe he trained as a paramedic too).

bipedalist Posted Sunday at 02:53 PM BFF Patron Posted Sunday at 02:53 PM (edited) Those fake feet have highly accentuated square toes and are hard to miss. I talked to some people running a small shop up the Toutle River Valley below Mt St Helen's who had relatives involved in the Ape Canyon incident. There was some obvious damage from the lahar on their property. They were very convincing Ape Canyon was the real deal. Of course it is highly advantageous to SELL BF in the valley. I fully acknowledge that Hollywood is at work with that show. But if the show was just Dr. Mayor walking around taking samples? Nobody would watch it. BUT! She is legit. She has helped discover a new primate! And she is in North America doing field research on our cryptid. So I hold out hope!👏🏻 She must be past the point of worrying about her career like Meldrum.🤷♂️ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mireya_Mayor On a 2001 expedition in Madagascar, she was part of a research group who described a new species of mouse lemur, Microcebus mittermeieri, or Mittermeier's mouse lemur,[6][12] after Russell Mittermeier, the president of green group Conservation International and a renowned field primatologist.[2][1] Mayor told NPRin a 2015 interview that following the discovery, she persuaded the prime minister of Madagascar to declare the mouse lemur's habitat a national park. 1
