Canada 1785 - Captured Wild Man Sent to France

Published in Poulson's American Daily Advertiser, a Philadelphia newspaper.  My best estimate is that this event occurred north or west of Lake of the Woods, Ontario or Minnesota, rather than the lake of that name in Oregon (I believe).  This one has all the hallmarks of being a Bigfoot or Sasquatch.  Remember, in early printing what looks like an "f" is really an "s."
