Pennsylvania 1971 - Bigfoot Bombards Hikers with Boulders (CORRECTED!)

This article was published in 1974 in the Bel Air (MD) Aegis, but the primary story occurred in 1971.  Bob Chance, the teacher interviewed, was an early researcher on the east coast.  His name can be found in John Green's database and other historic newspaper articles. 

 

UPDATE: While looking for more articles I found a different article which more clearly stated that the incident in 1971 took place in Pennsylvania, not Maryland.  The new article was published in The Aegis on January 17, 1974.  It discusses suspected Bigfoot activity in western Pennsylvania as well.
