Tirademan's thread of historical news articles in the archives is opaque - sometimes the post just says, "here's another one," without any information as to location, date, or description included and no attachment.  This article could very well have been one that he posted, but I'm not sure.  It was published in the Lansing (MI) State Journal on July 13, 1950.
