Trogluddite Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Published in the Flint (MI) Journal on August 19, 1965. The town of Monroe, Michigan, apparently decided to make the best out of the influx of monster hunters who came to town hunting the nuclear power plant Bigfoot. Apparently, the folks in Monroe took this idea from the folks in Sister Lake, who sold monsterburgers in 1964. Based on Google Map driving directions, the two communities are almost three hours apart, so this does not appear to be one story that got recycled in a town year after year.
