Kentucky 1900 - Wild Man Caught in Wolf Traps

Published in The Rock Hill (SC) Herald on June 20, 1900.  Aside from the question of how a man survives having his nose and one hand caught in separate wolf traps and lives to tell about, the wild man is covered in hair and has nails on his hands and feet like talons of an eagle.  One has to wonder if those questioning the wild man heard words where just guttural sounds were uttered.
