This was posted on Facebook in the North Idaho Life FB page by some lady that lives about 30 miles from me.

I know that photo wasn't taken in this area, and not recently since it is far too green with too many deciduous trees.  Her comment on the photo is "Barely caught the fireball in the sky".  No reference to the BF in the photo.  Obviously she is trolling or whatever.  But I was just curious to know if anyone here is familiar with the backstory of the picture.

A lot of AI altered photos beginning to pop. Maybe? But I am not aware of any backstory. Sorry.

The Bigfoot looks like those cutout signs that people put up in their yards sometimes, just for a little conversation.

This. We will be inundated with this stuff. Imagery has become counter-productive.

Personally, I think a return to film rather than digital (when it's still possible to GET film) for video and stills would be a step forward for researchers who used them as an adjunct to digital media when possible.  Then again, I am a lousy photographer no matter what medium I would use....

check on if it is AI or not here: https://wasitai.com/

Copied the image, dragged it into this site, and it said that they are quite confident that no AI was used to generate the image.  However, the "creature" doesn't look that tall compared to other object in the photo and as noted above, the "gee, do you like my sunset picture" without mentioning the Bigfoot in the room is disingenuous trolling.

Sure, its trolling, but its not AI. Most likely a statue or a person in a suit.
