Pennsylvania 1920 - The Snyder County Gorilla Exits Stage West (UPDATED!)

After news of the gorilla attack died down in Snyder County, The Harrisburg (PA) Patriot-News published this compilation of encounters with the "missing link" on 

December 20, 1920.  This account is mentioned in Bigfoot in Pennsylvania by Timothy Renner. 

 

                           

 

 

Updated 9 November 2025.  The Waynesboro (PA) Record published this article on December 22, 1920.  Many of the sightings are those described in other newspaper articles, but this one includes a detailed description of the two encounters near Canoe Creek, Pennsylvania.  There stories are near the end.
